The Pokémon GO Fest 2026 brings you some interesting monsters that you should not miss. MeinMMO shows you which ones they are.
For the 10th anniversary of the game, there will be a special edition of the global GO Fests in 2026. While most of the content used to be behind a paywall, this time you will have access to all the content without having to purchase a ticket.
Among the content are also some interesting, rare, or strong Pokémon that you should not miss. We have summarized which ones those are in the following overview.
1. Mega-Mewtwo
While participants of the local editions of the GO Fests have already enjoyed this, the two Mega-Mewtwo forms will be made available to all trainers at the global event.
You can challenge the two monsters in Super Mega Raids. If you want to do that, remember that these are very strong raids, where you will need not only strong monsters but also strong trainers by your side.
If you catch Mega-Mewtwo X or Y in a Super Mega Raid, the monster will have at least Mega Level 1 right away. With a bit of luck, you can also receive a specimen that is already at Mega Level 2 or 3.
Mega-Mewtwo X will be waiting for you on Saturday in Super Mega Raids, and the Y variant can be challenged on Sunday in Super Mega Raids.
If you have the chance, you should definitely catch both forms. After all, both monsters will directly be among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
2. Zeraora
In addition to the two Mewtwo variants, you can also obtain Zeraora for the first time if you have not already obtained it at a local GO Fest edition. You will receive the mysterious monster through a special research task, which you will get for free when you open the game during the event.
You should not miss this monster either. It is not only unique and cannot be traded as a mysterious monster, but it is also one of the strongest electric attackers out there. A must-catch for all fighters and collectors.
3. Legendary and Mega Monsters
On both days, a variety of legendary and mega monsters await you in the corresponding raids. If you are still missing some of the monsters, you can optimally use the event to fill these gaps.
However, due to the huge number of different raids, it might be a bit more difficult to hunt for a specific monster. So plan accordingly with time or remote raid passes.

4. Costumed Monsters
During the GO Fest, you can catch Pikachu in 3 different costumed variants. These include Pikachu wearing a hat from Team Intuition, Team Wisdom, and Team Valor. All 3 costumed monsters can also be found as Shiny.
Additionally, you can evolve Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle with Pikachu visor.
If you are a collector, you should definitely keep an eye out for these monsters.
5. Regional Monsters
Two regional monsters are also part of GO Fest 2026. The first is Bisofank, which you can otherwise only catch in New York. This normal monster is from the 5th generation and has no evolutions.
The second regional monster is Tropius, which is native to Africa. Tropius is from the 3rd generation and has the types Grass and Flying. This Pokémon also has no evolution that you can perform.
You can find these two monsters at the GO Fest if you use incense. The daily adventure incense is excluded from this.
6. Unown
Also, you can lure all Unown forms in smoke. If you have forms here that have not yet made their way into your collection, then this is the perfect opportunity to close these gaps.
