The new Casino Heist in GTA 5 Online can earn you a lot of money. We will show you which shooter, driver, and hacker you should choose for the heist.
What is it about? Since December 2019, the Casino Heist in GTA Online has been available for you. With your player crew of 2-4 players, you have three different options to master this heist: Silent and Sneaky, Big Con, or Aggressive.
Each time, you also choose a shooter, a driver, and a hacker as NPCs. They are differently skilled and cost you different amounts of money. They take a share (a cut) of the big profit you make from the Casino Heist.
In this post, we want to show you what the advantages and disadvantages of the characters are and which you should choose for the different approaches.
Which shooter for Casino Heist?
What shooters are there?
- Chester McCoy – Expert – 10 % share
- Gustavo Mota – Expert – 9 % share
- Patrick McReary – Expert – 8 % share
- Charlie Reed – Good – 7 % share
- Karl Abolaji – Bad – 5 % share
Which one is worth it for Aggressive? You choose the shooter depending on the approach. If you go for the loud, aggressive heist, it pays off to take an expensive shooter. In this case, we recommend Patrick “Packie” McReary. He provides you with heavy machine guns during the heist, which makes it significantly easier for you.

Which one is worth it for Silent and Big Con? For the approaches where you need to remain undetected, we recommend the cheapest shooter available. The reason is that you aren’t supposed to shoot at all. You only use your weapons to knock out opponents in close combat. Therefore, it would be pointless to spend more money on the shooter.
Which driver for Casino Heist?

- Talina Martinez – Good – 7 % share
- Zach Nelson – Good – 6 % share
- Karim Denz – Bad – 5 % share
Which one is worth it? In all three heist options (Silent and Sneaky, Big Con, Aggressive), we recommend Karim Denz as a driver. By choosing the driver, the getaway vehicles you have available change. The Sentinel from Karim’s selection is a good getaway vehicle for 2 players.
More expensive drivers offer you cars that are somewhat faster and even provide 4 seats. This includes the armored Zhaba. However, this is irrelevant for now, as you can simply escape into the sewer tunnels located directly behind the casino. You can quickly get rid of the cops there.
Faster cars are really only important if you want to complete the time challenge of the heist.

Which hacker for Casino Heist?
What hackers are there?
- Avi Schwartzman – Expert – 10 % share
- Paige Harris – Expert – 9 % share
- Christian Feltz – Good – 7 % share
- Yohan Blair – Good – 5 % share
- Rickie Lukens – Bad – 3 % share
Which one is worth it? The choice of a hacker should always be on an expert. The simple reason is that you get more time in the vault. If you save on the hacker, you have less time to steal money, gold, or art pieces in the Casino Heist. So the question is:
- Avi Schwartzman
- or Paige Harris?
The difference between these two hackers is not particularly large. With Paige, you have about 3 minutes and 25 seconds in the vault. Avi Schwartzman gives you about 4-5 seconds more time. That can be important if you need a bit more time at the fingerprint scanners.
So if you can steal enough loot in those extra 5 seconds with Avi Schwartzman, the percent extra share is worth it. Otherwise, go with Paige. It’s entirely up to you.
