In World of Warcraft, you can quickly level up Valeera to the maximum level. This gives you a significant advantage in Season 2 of Midnight.
When tomorrow, on August 19, 2026, the servers of World of Warcraft are back online, Season 2 of Midnight will have started. This not only signifies access to a new raid and fresh “Mythic+” dungeons, but also a new season for all depth visitors. After all, many solo players will be rewarded with strong gear here, and fans of group activities will also gather there at the beginning.
Your companion Valeera is always there, now with 20 new levels – from level 60 to 80. We will show you how to get her to max level in just a few hours.
What do you need for that? Basically, you need two things and a little preparation. First, you should play your depths as high as possible. This way, you will have a better chance of getting curiosities from the treasure chests at the end.
- You need the utility curio called “Dundun’s Favor.”
- Additionally, you should stock up on around 100 Sulfurous Sludgefish in the Auction House. This fish reduces your aggro range by 20 meters, allowing you to walk past most enemies easily – this also applies in the depth “The Ring of Glory”!
The fish is optional, as you can also simply avoid all fights with a stealth class. However, the fish has the advantage that you can just ride through the arena and pick up the small bags, so that you can be back at the loading screen after around 60 seconds to start the next round.
10 Minutes or Less for a Full Valeera Level
How does it work? Once the preparations are complete, travel to the Twisted Island and to the entrance of the depth “The Ring of Glory” and enter it. Make sure you have the correct curio set for Valeera. Use one of the fish to reduce your aggro radius for 5 minutes.
Now mount up and ride through the arena while looking for the small blue treasure bags found in every depth. Exactly 10 will spawn each time. Thanks to the equipped curio, the bags will be opened directly when you ride over them, and Valeera will gain experience points each time:
- All 10 bags should yield about 20% of a Valeera level – sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less.
- After collecting all 10 bags, exit the depth, immediately re-enter it, and repeat the process.
For each level, you need about 5-10 minutes, so you will have Valeera at the new max level 80 after 2 to 3 hours and unlock her full power.

Why should you level Valeera? The strength of Valeera directly affects how effective you are in combat in the depths. Your companion does a significant part of the damage dealt, and each additional level increases the bonus even more.
This is particularly important, as you have exactly 7 days in the first week of Season 2 to defeat the new Depth Nemesis on difficulty “??” and secure a title for yourself. Those who want the title should maximize their chances beforehand and ideally get Valeera to 80 to have the greatest advantage.
