For example, during the Atlas Mountain Race on YouTube, he cycled about 1,400 kilometers and 25,000 meters of elevation gain without help from other people through the Atlas Mountains from Marrakech/Beni-Mellal to Essaouira on the Atlantic coast.
The route had to be completed in just 7 days, and of the approximately 260 riders, only about half reached the finish line. Meinecke also completed the extremely demanding race, which at times led over unpaved routes.
