Highlights of the week:
- WoW demon Cortyn doesn’t know which way is up anymore. Because there’s so much “content” that you just feel burned out in World of Warcraft.
- The people at Pocketpair have secured the rights to “Palworld Online” for the USA and South Korea (Source: gematsu.com). Since Palworld already supports multiplayer, and the new mobile version is called “Palworld Mobile”, there is now speculation that the studio could implement an MMO version. However, nothing has been officially confirmed in this regard.
- The team from Aion 2 explained in a livestream on YouTube why the MMORPG is only being released for PC in the West and not also for mobile: Market analyses showed that Western players prefer to play on PC, and the infrastructure for demanding mobile games in the West is not as well developed as in Korea.

- In WoW, you only have until May 18, 2026, to complete the introduction scenario of Midnight, thus earning the achievement “Echoes of Midnight” and getting the flying mount “Voidfeather Drake” for Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary. - After less than an hour, the race in WoW Classic Anniversary was already over. The new bosses in The Burning Crusade fell quickly.
- Sometimes you wish your teammates in World of Warcraft had more brains. Now you can take care of that actively.
- The mythic raids in World of Warcraft are going to change. They are supposed to become more accessible – Blizzard is taking a risk. Coincidentally: New items in World of Warcraft make your items even more powerful. This makes every “Mythic+” dungeon a piece of cake.
- Every player of World of Warcraft knows the entrance to Stormwind, even from Classic times. But Blizzard is cheating – the city doesn’t look like that at all.

- The record of MMO projects that wanted to finance themselves via crowdfunding has been disastrous so far. Nevertheless, genre enthusiasts continue to invest a lot of money in the promise of a new MMORPG. Several Kickstarter campaigns have been successful in recent months.
- The developers of Aion 2 have revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for the Western version of the MMORPG. Don’t worry: You don’t need an expensive high-end PC.
