AION 2 is the official successor to the classic MMORPG AION by NCSoft and uses the modern Unreal Engine 5. Unlike its heavily PvP-focused predecessor, this part places much more emphasis on accessible PvE content such as dungeons and raids. The free-to-play game was released on November 12, 2025, in South Korea and Taiwan for PC and mobile devices, and is expected to be released in 2026 in an adapted version in the West – but there exclusively for PC.
