AION 2 is the official successor to the classic MMORPG AION by NCSoft and uses the modern Unreal Engine 5. Unlike its heavily PvP-focused predecessor, this installment places a much greater emphasis on accessible PvE content such as dungeons and raids. The free-to-play game was released on November 12, 2025, in South Korea and Taiwan for PC and mobile devices and is expected to be released in 2026 in a modified version for the West – there, however, exclusively for PC.
