The developers of Aion 2 have revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for the western version of the MMORPG. Don’t worry: You don’t need an expensive high-end PC.
System Requirements for Aion 2: According to the developers at NCSoft, your PC must meet the following minimum or recommended specifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- Operating System: Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
- Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 5 2600 / Intel® Core™ i5-10500
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti (4GB) / AMD Radeon RX 470 (4GB)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet Connection
- Storage: 100 GB of available storage space
- Additional Notes: SSD recommended. When using FHD resolution in the game, the graphics preset should be set to “Very Low” to ensure compatibility.

- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- Operating System: Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
- Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 7 3700X / Intel® Core™ i7-11700
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 2070 (8GB) / AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (8GB)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet Connection
- Storage: 100 GB of available storage space
- Additional Notes: SSD recommended. When using FHD resolution in the game, the graphics preset should be set to “Low” to ensure compatibility.
The requirements for the MMORPG are therefore quite low. You probably don’t need a system with current high-end components to play Aion 2 at maximum graphics settings.
Lower Requirements for the West: Notably, the system requirements for the already released version in Korea are higher. For the home market, the developers, for example, recommended an AMD Ryzen 5 5600, an NVIDIA 3060 TI, and 32 GB RAM.
Surely this is due to the optimizations that the NCSoft team has made in recent months. In addition, Aion 2 in the West focuses entirely on the PC, while the MMORPG has also been released for mobile devices in Asia – this probably makes optimization work for PC systems easier.
