Step 3: Farm Neyrelle’s hand

For the final part of the journey, you will need to travel back and forth several times between Skovos and Kyovashad. Centrally located in Skartara, the last region of Skovos (the volcano), you will find “The Outcast’s Diary.” Interact with it to start the hidden quest.

Then you need to return to the shrine where you etched something onto an amulet at the very beginning of the campaign, when Lorath brought you to Kyovashad. The order in which you complete the subsequent tasks is up to you – only “Greed” must be completed last. For this guide, we follow the order explained by Sliver of Time in his video.

The “Pride” Challenge

Select “Pride” first at the shrine. Then travel to the northeast of Skartara in Skovos (directly southeast of the Archive of Cosmos) or to the north of Celestia (southeast of the Archive) and destroy the ballistae you find there until you find an Amazonian bolt.

Take the bolt to the cellar “Idyllic Field” northeast of Temis. There you will find a ballista that you can interact with. Shoot the bolt and climb with the thus drawn rope into the secret area of the small dungeon.

In the secret area, you will find a statue that you must use. A boss appears, and upon dying, he drops the “Chains of the Father.” Collect them and bring them to a large bonfire in the north of Philios, a bit north of the dungeon “Grim Harbor.” Interact with the brazier and burn the found item.

The “Rage” Challenge

Return to the shrine in front of Kyovashad and select “Rage” as the next option. The challenge requires you to collect and equip a whole set of “white” items.

The first item, the “Amazonian Training Helmet,” you get from the training dummies at the training grounds in Temis. Just keep striking the dummy until the item falls. This can take a while.

Equip the helmet and kill monsters in the north of Celestia, southeast of the Archive of Cosmos. The corrupted Amazons there drop the rest of the set:

• Tunic
• Pants
• Gloves
• Boots

Equip each item as soon as you find it and keep killing enemies. Only then can the next part of the set drop. This can also take some time as they are random drops.

Tip: If you have defeated all enemies and do not want to wait for the respawn, teleport away and return or log out and back in.

Once you have equipped the complete set, kill the enemy “Vasha the Unbroken” in the northeast of Celestia, a bit south of Akarat’s Bastion. Vasha drops the “Mother’s Rose.” Bring the rose to the brazier in the north of Athulua, directly at the Temple of Valor and northeast of the Athulua Garrison.

The “Fear” Challenge

Return to Kyovashad and select “Fear” as the next option at the shrine in front of the city. Head northwest of the center of Lycander, directly north of the “Dark Refuge” dungeon.

There you will find a raven sitting on a cliff. Interact with the bird and… follow it. This sounds simple, but the raven takes routes that you cannot take. You must often predict where the bird will fly and search for alternative paths.

If you succeed, you will find the “Skull of the Hierophant” where the raven took off (and should also land again). If you have lost the bird along the way, check to see if the item is perhaps lying there – in this case, you were lucky. Otherwise, you can find the raven there for a new attempt. If not, log out and back in or change the difficulty.

Bring the skull to the east of Lycander, a little south of the waypoint in the Temple of Life, and burn it there in the brazier. The “Hadopelagic Key” should drop to the ground in front of you.

The “Greed” Trial and Neyrelle’s Hand

Return to Kyovashad and select “Greed” as the next (and final) trial at the shrine. You must have completed all previous tasks up to this point.

Then head to the east of Hawezar to the shipwreck where Neyrelle lost her hand during the storyline of the original campaign. At the end of the path, you will find a small platform made of planks. Here you need to fish.

Just a reminder: this is how you learn to fish and can fish in Diablo 4.

You will fish out a “Sealed Wooden Coffin” which you can open with the key you just received. “Enter” the now-open coffin, and you will find yourself in a cellar (“Corrupted Mark”).

Go to the end of the cellar and interact with the swollen calf there. Neyrelle’s hand should drop, and you can collect it to proceed to the last step of the puzzle.
