• Gun-Ho: This perk is a must. With it, you become much more mobile, can shoot and reload while running, and transition faster from sprinting to aiming.
• Dead Silence: This makes you quieter and less easily detected.
• Scavenger: Ideal if you use weapons that consume ammunition quickly. This allows you to loot ammunition from dead enemies.

Maddox

While the Maddox is an assault rifle, according to TheXclusiveAce, it is better suited as an SMG – for close-quarters combat. To optimally equip it for quick skirmishes at short distances, you need the following attachments:

• Stock: This makes you move faster while aiming. Ideal for gliding around corners.
• Quick-Draw 1 & 2: This allows you to aim much faster through sights.
• Extended Mags: Increase your magazine capacity, as the Maddox reloads rather slowly.

VKM 750

This light LMG is rarely used but surprisingly effective with these updates. Add a launcher and take Engineer as the perk instead of Scavenger to find enemies more easily.

Attachments:

• Reflex Sight: This sight is more of a novelty, the regular sight works too.
• Quick-Draw: This compensates for the LMG’s disadvantage and allows you to aim faster.
• High Caliber I & II: With this, two hits to the upper body are enough for a kill.

Auger DMR

With High-Caliber, this weapon is a real killer. You can manage longer corridors well and also excel in close combat because you can take down opponents with 2 shots. In skilled hands, the Auger DMR is even better than SMGs in close combat!

Attachments:

• Reflex Sight: If you can aim well with the small red dot, it is better than the regular sight.
• Fast Mags: This allows you to reload this weapon much faster, allowing you to take down enemies more quickly.
• High Caliber I & II: This deals extreme damage, making this weapon a true killer. 2 hits to the upper body are enough for a kill.

Vapr

This weapon remains a superb SMG for wild close combat. With the adjustments presented here, it is even better. But watch your ammunition consumption. Without the Scavenger perk, the Vapr is not a good idea.

• Reflex Sight: A good sight for this SMG.
• Stock: This allows you to move faster while aiming. Thus, you remain highly mobile with this weapon.
• High Caliber I: Headshots become very dangerous.
• Rapid Fire: Increases the fire rate of the Vapr even further.

Titan

This light LMG is currently one of the most feared weapons in the meta. Professionals regularly take out noobs with it. With the following adjustments, the weapon unleashes its full strength. Here, too, you should take Engineer as the perk.

Attachments:

• Stock: This allows you to move faster while aiming. This makes this cumbersome weapon more mobile.
• Quick-Draw: This allows you to aim much faster through sights. Always a good idea for LMGs.
• Extended Mags: Increase your magazine capacity. This means you have to reload less often, which takes a long time with the Titan.
