What kind of game is it? SWTOR is a story-driven MMORPG set in the well-known and beloved Star Wars universe. It places a strong emphasis on the narrative and requires moral choices that can lead the player towards the light or the dark side of the Force. The dialogues are fully voiced.
While the game relies on classic tab-targeting, it attempts to implement this in a more modern and dynamic way. In addition to the story, the MMORPG also impresses with a solid companion system, exciting endgame raids, and PvP content.
A significant update for Star Wars: The Old Republic was released on December 10, 2024. The game now features enhanced graphics and the names of inactive characters have been removed. Over the past year, the offerings for the Free2Play version of the MMORPG have been expanded.
