JenNyan is successful as a streamer on Twitch. However, in the past, she made a lot of money on the paid platform OnlyFans. Nevertheless, she decided to leave the platform.
Who is the streamer? JenNyan is one of the larger female streamers on German Twitch. She averages between 1,500 to 2,500 viewers (via SullyGnome). The streamer shows a lot of role-playing in games like Rust and GTA 5 Online. However, she is also known for openly discussing more serious topics such as her mental health or the experiences of women in gaming.
Before JenNyan gained popularity on Twitch, she worked as an educator and made money on the side with cosplays. Through erotic cosplays, she eventually ended up on OnlyFans, which quickly proved to be quite lucrative. In the podcast Henke’s Corner, JenNyan revealed that she earned 10,000 euros a month with revealing pictures, sometimes even 15,000. However, she also explained why she ultimately quit.
JenNyan had to choose: OnlyFans or Twitch
Why did she quit OnlyFans? JenNyan clarifies that she does not regret her former activity – only the quality of the photos bothers her in hindsight. Instead, it was her success on Twitch that eventually led to the end of her OnlyFans career.
In January 2021, JenNyan was invited to the Twitch event Rustplatz, which gave her a huge boost. Compared to the previous month, her average viewer count increased by 316% (via SullyGnome). But even after the event ended, the new viewers remained.
Throughout the year, JenNyan’s channel continued to grow steadily, also through collaborations with others. Eventually, managements approached her. In the podcast, the streamer mentions that she had several contracts in front of her. However, there was one problem: her activity on OnlyFans.
JenNyan explains that companies did not want to work with her because she was running OnlyFans on the side. This situation persists to this day.
As the streamer reports, she had to make a choice: Twitch or OnlyFans. Financially, it hurt, says JenNyan. Without providing exact numbers, she confirms that it was quite a setback for her compared to the 10,000 euros a month she previously earned.
However, she definitely wanted to continue streaming – which ultimately turned out well for her.
Could she imagine a return? JenNyan is also quite open about that. Regarding her OnlyFans work, she says she would do it again anytime, she just can’t. Later she adds that today she could probably earn much more from her recordings.
A comeback is likely not planned.
