Für FIFA 18 ist am 8. Juni das neueste Titel-Update 1.14 erschienen. Dies ist jedoch mit einer kleinen Panne verbunden, denn eigentlich sollte der Patch noch nicht live sein. Hier gibt es die offiziellen Patch-Notes.
Titel-Updates erscheinen für FIFA normalerweise erst für den PC und ein paar Tage später für die PS4 und Xbox. Nicht so beim Patch 1.14: Das Update ging aus Versehen schon gestern Abend auf der Xbox One online.
Ursprünglich war Update 1.14 erst für nächste Woche geplant. Auf Xbox One ist der 4,2 GB große Patch schon zum Download verfügbar, auf PS4 ging er kurz danach live. PC- und Switch-Spieler müssen sich noch eine Weile gedulden.
Ein kurzes Twitter-Statement veröffentlichte EA Sports nach der Xbox-Patch-Panne. Dort verkündeten sie auch die Verlängerung der Weekend League um 24 Stunden. Im Folgenden findet ihr alle offiziellen Patch-Notes.
Die Patch-Notes zum Titel-Update 1.14 für FIFA 18
Die Änderungen betreffen hauptsächlich den neuen WM-Modus, weshalb der Download wohl auch erst nächste Woche – zum Start der Weltmeisterschaft – angesetzt wurde.
- Neue Spieler wurden zu den Spielerlisten der qualifizierten WM-Teams hinzugefügt
- Verschiedene Bugfixes, die den World-Cup-Mode betreffen
- Es wurde eine Möglichkeit hinzugefügt, neue Spieler im WM-Modus von Ultimate Team zu veröffentlichen. Sobald neue WM-Karten verfügbar sind, gibt EA Sports dies auf Twitter bekannt.
- Bugfixes zu Ultimate Team sowie dem Pro-Club-Modus
Außerdem arbeitet EA daran, die Spielerlisten der WM-Teams zu aktualisieren und die “Starheads”, also die gescannten Gesichter, auch außerhalb des WM-Modus verfügbar zu machen.

Patch soll auf der Xbox zu Problemen führen
Das Titel-Update führt auf der Xbox wohl zu Abstürzen und anderen Problemen.
So startet laut einigen Spielern das Spiel auf der Xbox One nicht, nachdem sie das Update 1.14 heruntergeladen haben. Eine Lösung gibt es bisher noch nicht, wir halten euch aber auf dem Laufenden.
Das zu frühe Update ist nicht der einzige Fail zum WM-Modus: Durch das Verschenken von tausenden WM-Sets verursachte EA einen Marktcrash im normalen Ultimate Team.
