The spin-off series of 7 vs. Wild, Wild Card Competition 2026 has premiered on Amazon Prime and brings three action-packed episodes right away.
What kind of series is this? The creators of 7 vs. Wild want to return to the origins of their format. For this, they reintroduced the wildcard. Fans were allowed to apply to later participate in the new Season 6 of 7 vs. Wild.
From the applicants, the community selected 30 participants who will compete against each other in the new spin-off series 7 vs. Wild, Wild Card Competition 2026.
This time, the 30 participants will first travel to Sweden to the location of the first season, where they will literally return to their roots five years after the series started. There will be tasks for the participants to complete.
After each challenge, the worst participants will be eliminated before the best 7 head to Panama, the location of the second season. There, it will be decided who will be the winner and thus the participant of 7 vs. Wild Season 6.

What is there to see now? The new Wild Card Competition has started on Prime Video with three episodes. Without spoiling, the first three episodes already depict the complete Sweden part of the series. Thus, 23 of the 30 candidates will quickly be eliminated.
The remaining four episodes will be released every Tuesday and Friday in the coming weeks, always at 0:00 CET on Amazon Prime, so you can watch them in the night.

Are 30 participants not too many? MeinMMO author and 7-vs-Wild expert Cedric Holmeier believes: The new series of 7 vs. Wild serves the producers as a testing ground for the show’s revival. The creators know exactly that the last seasons appealed less to the fans, thus to the average viewer.
That not every participant can be shown with 30 participants and that good and interesting candidates quickly crystallize is clear and will not function differently in the show than in other formats like “Germany’s Next Topmodel” or “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”.
Having different candidates compete against each other in survival has never been done so directly, which increases the excitement and creates a desire for more. Whether the series ultimately represents a return to “Hype Bock Angriff” still needs to be proven.
