Building a powerful build in Path of Exile 2 is challenging, especially as a newcomer. There are many things to know, including the Bonded Modifiers. What they are and why you should use them, you will learn here.
What are Bonded Modifiers? In Path of Exile 2, items come with various stats. These are divided into prefixes and suffixes. Some, however, even have intrinsic perks beyond the actual stats, which can give you an additional boost in strength.
Occasionally, exiles report about another perk that belongs to the intrinsic perks – the Bonded Modifiers. You can identify them by the fact that they begin with “Bonded:” before their effect description. They provide you with an additional boost to your stats but are not accessible to every player, and there is a good reason for that.
How do I get Bonded Modifiers? The Bonded Modifiers come with the runes and idols that you can socket into your gear. Many players cannot see the effect because they do not play a Druid. Only the Druid with the Shaman Ascendancy can see and benefit from these bonuses with the point “Wisdom of the Maji”.
Through this mechanic, you can become even stronger with your Druid, even if you have only used one or two runes.
How do I unlock the Ascendancy? To benefit from the Shaman Ascendancy, you simply need to complete the trials of Sekhema in Act 2. It is sufficient to complete the first trial to gain the first two Ascendancy points. This allows you to unlock the necessary node in your Ascendancy.
These were all the important details about the Bonded Modifiers and how you can activate them. Do you enjoy playing the Druid or is this bonus not strong enough for you and would you rather switch to other classes? Let us know in the comments!
