There hasn’t been much thought about visiting strip clubs in GTA so far. Whether you liked them or not: How often you frequented the place didn’t have much impact on the story or gameplay. However, this won’t be the case in GTA 6.
Even though GTA 6 has not yet revealed a lot of information about gameplay, from the released screenshots we already know that players can again visit (at least) one strip club in the 6th installment. Instead of the “Vanilla Unicorn” from Los Santos, it features the “Delights” cabaret in Port Gellhorn, whose sign and associated parking lot have already been revealed to us:
However, just like the location, something else changes that could indicate possible modifications to the strip club: the protagonists.
While in GTA 5, for example, there are single men (or in Michael’s case, a man whose marriage is already in crisis), in GTA 6 you play as a couple consisting of Lucia and Jason. And visiting a strip club could turn out quite differently.
A Strip Club Visit with Consequences?
Whether you play as Lucia or Jason: We already know that they are a couple. So, if one of them visits a strip club, it will likely have different consequences than it would for a Franklin from GTA 5.
One thing is for sure: If GTA 6 treats the strip club as in previous games, it would be a disappointment.
Relationship Dynamics between Lucia and Jason are Crucial
Whether we can expect an entirely new feature, like a kind of “loyalty meter” that swings between loyalty and infidelity, depends entirely on how the relationship between the two protagonists looks. The visit to a strip club could therefore look very different:
- The couple visits the club together: Perhaps they don’t see watching half-naked dancers too strictly and even go together.
- Both can visit the club individually without the partner getting jealous: Either they don’t see it as a breach of trust or they are generally not strictly monogamous.
- Both must visit the club secretly: If the partner finds out, it affects the relationship and/or the story.
Or, the simplest but in my opinion the least creative approach:
- Players can enter the strip club and there is no reaction.
Strip Clubs are Just the Beginning
In GTA, strip clubs are just one way to engage in a sexual relationship with NPCs. They raise the question of how such features affect players outside of the clubs, such as picking up sex workers on the street, as was possible in previous installments.
GTA 6, through the choice of its protagonist couple, has the chance to bring entirely new aspects to the series: loyalty, relationships, maybe even with other characters, monogamy, polygamy, or open partnerships, but also sexual orientations beyond heterosexuality.
This is what MyMMO editor Caro says: I am very curious how GTA 6 will reconcile partnerships and actually more playful “Hihi, Haha” moments. Lucia and Jason offer so many possibilities to try out a whole new approach, which I am really looking forward to.
I would actually be disappointed if they just do it the same way as before, meaning absolutely irrelevant.
Even if GTA 6 brushes it off with a simple sentence like “We are open to that”, I would still be happier than if we could just stare at a dancer without it bothering the partner in the slightest.

I played GTA 5 as a child, which was an absolute thrill and revelation for me back then of what is possible in games. That’s why I’m also worried about how GTA 6 will resonate with me: GTA 6 simply cannot provide the same experience as its predecessor, because I no longer have to play it secretly
