With the first version of Hytale, the developers provided players with all sorts of modding tools. However, one player uses these in a strange way.
What kind of mod is this? Hytale aims to offer modders all sorts of possibilities to expand the game and make changes as simply as possible. Just 2 days after release, a modification is receiving a lot of attention.
The player LucyLavend posted a screenshot on Reddit that makes Hytale uglier through a mod. More specifically, it replaces the block textures in the game with those from Minecraft. This way, you can play Hytale but visually be in Minecraft.

How are players reacting to the modification? On Reddit, players are celebrating the mod. They find the idea of turning Hytale back into Minecraft brilliant and are excited about the modder’s project. At the same time, fans have more ideas for the project.
Reddit user SupCass suggests adding a portal to a Minecraft world instead of just changing the textures. Players could then simply go through the portal to the Old World and play Minecraft in Hytale there.
Where can you get the mod? Even though the mod looks great in the screenshot, it is currently unavailable. The creator has announced that he will upload the modification to the mod website Curseforge.com as soon as he has a version that will function safely for players. When that will be is not yet known.
While the Minecraft mod is still in progress, there are already countless other modifications on the website that can be added to Hytale right now. Currently, there are mainly new blocks, tools, and plugins for servers to manage better with many players.
