How much money does each heist bring in GTA Online? We will show you all the heists and where you can earn the most money.
What are heists? In GTA Online, heists are group activities. Typically, it requires 2 to 4 players to even be able to start them. The Cayo Perico Heist broke this rule and since then, there are several heists where you can also act individually.
Heists are a PvE activity. They are usually divided into different acts or stages. From preparation, through smaller missions to the big finale. The finale pays out players a substantial amount of GTA dollars.
In this overview, we introduce you to each heist briefly and show how much money you can earn there. This way, you can quickly see which one is particularly worthwhile if you want to get rich in GTA Online.
The Standard Heists
The following five heists were the first to enter the online world of GTA 5. For the Fleeca Job, you only need two players. The other four heists are played with four players each. The standard heists are available in the difficulty levels Easy, Medium (normal), and Hard.
Later heists only have two difficulty levels and forgo “easy”.

When you arrive at the job, one player keeps the hostages in check and threatens them with their weapon or shots. The other player cracks the safe with the drill and steals the loot.
After that, both players get into the car with the loot, break through a few roadblocks and are then picked up by a helicopter. It is equipped with a huge magnet to lift the getaway vehicle off the road.

Every time it’s about robbing the casino. Depending on your tactic, the approach changes slightly. Ultimately, you should find a way into the casino, steal the loot from the vault room, and then find a buyer with your getaway vehicles who will buy the stolen goods from you.

The Diamond Casino Heist – Huge Con
What happens there? In this version of the Casino Heist, you disguise yourself with your crew to legally gain access to the casino. This can be as a pest control officer, janitor, police officer, or Yung Ancestor.
In the vault room, you must hack security doors and drill open the cash lockers.
For an easier exit, you can use other disguises found in the washroom. These could be fire uniforms, SWAT gear, or high roller outfits. If you get spotted somewhere, you must shoot your way out and to the getaway vehicles. If you manage to do that and get rid of the cops, you can drive to the buyer and complete the heist.
The Diamond Casino Heist – Quiet & Stealthy
What happens there? In this approach, you should reach the vault room undetected. You have a stun gun to temporarily disable cameras and metal detectors or to incapacitate guards.
If you complete the EMP mission beforehand, you can use this to shut down power in the casino for a minute. This causes lights, cameras, and detectors to fail. In addition, guards have reduced visibility to spot you.
When you arrive at the vault room, you must drill it open and plunder it, and then sneak your way out of the building. However, shortly after leaving the vault room, the alarm will go off.
Outside, you then have to escape the police and, as usual, flee with your getaway vehicles to finally meet the buyer of the stolen loot.
The Diamond Casino Heist – Aggressive
What happens there? The aggressive approach requires all your weapon skills. From the start, it’s all about shooting your way to the vault and escaping with brute force.
As a preparation mission, you can unlock heavier armor. If you wear this, you will move slower but can take more damage than usual.
This time, you do not drill the vault room open, but blast your way through. Inside, you also don’t need to hack, but can deploy thermite charges to open the security doors.
After looting, you must fight against many other police officers and SWAT units.
Then, as usual, it’s off to the getaway vehicles, where you will then meet the buyer.

Bonus: Contracts and Raids
What are Contracts and Raids? Rockstar Games distinguishes between heists, raids, and contracts, although all three types of missions share a very similar structure.
- In contracts and raids, you also have to play a series of preparation missions before you can fill your pockets in the big finale.
- However, contracts yield significantly less money than the proper heists, but consist of fewer missions. In addition, the narrative part of the contracts is usually significantly smaller and less important.
- There are also differences with the raids versus standard heists, such as the fact that the reward cannot be split and the leader gets everything.
The first contract robberies were introduced with the “Los Santos Tuners” update in GTA Online and are part of the auto workshop – a business you can acquire. Since then, further mission series in the style of auto workshop contracts have been added to the game. Thus far, the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid is the only raid available.

You can then either sell the vehicles to Yusuf Amir or dismantle them at your scrapyard – the latter bringing in slightly less money.
The sale price of the vehicles and thus your revenue fluctuates, as each week different cars in various versions are available in one of the 5 heist scenarios.
Reward: between $200,000 and $400,000

Reward: Solo, you get between $250,000 to $350,000, depending on the mission (in a team, the reward increases from $450,000 to $650,000).
Required: You need the property “Textile Factory” which costs between $2,200,000 to $4,500,000 depending on the version. There are no startup fees for the missions, and you can repeat them as often as you want for free to farm money.
“KnoWay Out” Heist (1-4 Players)
What is that? Michael comes to you and asks you to break into the main headquarters of “KnoWay” and delete all data that implicates him. You must plan the heist classically through several steps to then complete it in a finale. For many, this heist is considered one of the best in the game, as not only does Michael return, but also lures with new features like the villas.
