On May 21, Warhammer Skulls, the biggest event of the year for video games around the world of Warhammer, is taking place. MeinMMO will accompany the show with a live ticker and already has some information ready.
What kind of event is this? Warhammer Skulls takes place (again) annually and offers the biggest stage of the year for gaming in the franchise. In 2025, the big remaster of Dawn of War, the best Warhammer game on Steam, and Boltgun 2 were announced.

These games will be showcased in 2026: From the trailer, we already know that at least 9 titles will receive information:
- Rogue Trader (Role-playing Game)
- Dark Heresy (Role-playing Game)
- Boltgun 2 (Boomer Shooter)
- Space Marine 2 (Co-op Shooter)
- Darktide (Co-op Shooter)
- Battlesector (Strategy)
- Total War: Warhammer 3 (Strategy)
- Dawn of War 4 (Strategy)
- Warhammer Survivors (Survivor-Like)
Total War: Warhammer 40k was not officially mentioned, but the likelihood of new information is moderate to high. Whether any new games will be announced is still unknown.
We have also had two previews of some of the titles. In Total War: Warhammer 3, for example, the first mini-DLC with the Tiger Warriors starts today. We were the first in Europe to test it and indeed, the DLC performed quite well for under 5 euros.
Mechanicus 2 is also being released today and continues the war between Adeptus Mechanicus and Necrons, with you being able to play both sides this time. MeinMMO author Ody surprisingly feels closer to the robot mummies.

Warhammer Skulls comes directly with a giveaway and offers
In addition to the actual show, you can currently participate in a giveaway. You can win a large package with merchandise and official miniatures from Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar. To participate, you just need to log into your account on MyWarhammer by May 28. You can find more information about the giveaway on Warhammer Community.
There will also be deals on platforms such as Steam, the Epic Store, and Humble until May 28.
Just a few weeks after the Skulls event, the 11th edition of Warhammer 40,000 will be released, bringing figures and rules with it. If you’re interested in the tabletop or the lore, you’ll get new content starting in June. The setting is a historic place: Warhammer 40,000 returns in the new edition to the planet where the greatest wars in history took place
