The community says: After the new gameplay leaks, the GTA 6 subreddit and the community on X are busy analyzing every little detail of the videos. However, there is not much hype, some find the leaker’s action really not good at all.

Rockstar says: Oops. So nothing official; officially nothing has been released yet. Instead, gameplay recordings are being taken down as quickly as they pop up.

The community says: A lot. About a week before the big gameplay reveal on Netflix, there was another significant leak at Rockstar. The user “Cyberleek” shared several gameplay videos and screenshots. Additionally, the entire map of GTA 6 is said to have been leaked. The colleagues from GameStar reported.

In the community, opinions are divided. Some empathize with the Rockstar employees, who might have had a major reveal ruined again, one that they had worked hard for. Others are much more vicious: That is just dessert for not releasing a physical version and hiding the reveal behind a paywall (via X).

How do you deal with such leaks? Do you eagerly absorb every bit of information, or would you rather be surprised by the developers?
