In order for a companion to be summoned in battle, a certain amount of time must elapse first. After that, you can use the companion’s skill up to four times (there is only one) before it disappears again (unless it has been defeated beforehand).
The companions’ skills vary from support abilities to offensive and even area attacks. There are a total of ten companions, each representing an element in Skylanders: Ring of Heroes.
Note that companions do not gain experience points in battle, but can be strengthened using blue potions. This becomes a problem, especially at higher rarity levels starting from 5 stars, as you need large amounts of these potions and additionally need to spend a lot of gold.

- You want to farm efficiently, that is, quickly. Since it is still early in the game, it makes sense to play only with the three strongest attackers. However, this leads to a neglect of defense or healers.
- Combat support should, if possible, be carried out with attacks that target all opponents to speed up the farming process.
- In the arena against other players, additional abilities are required that your companion must bring.

The Broccoli Guy – The vegetable for all occasions

- Fresh fruits and vegetables – Broccoli Guy’s only skill heals the hero with the fewest hit points and reduces the duration of existing debuffs by 2 rounds. In addition, defense is increased for two rounds and health regeneration is granted over two rounds.
Often a single unit is targeted by foes, and that’s when the healing from Broccoli Guy comes in handy. In addition to healing, you also gain health regeneration and increased defense. This makes the villain the healer that you don’t need on your team.
Where can I find the soul stones for Broccoli Guy? Broccoli Guy is very easy to farm. You can find his soul stones in the second world in stages 2.1 – 2.6 (easy, normal, and hard). It does not matter which difficulty level you choose; the progress is the same everywhere.
This is how long it takes to collect all soul stones for Broccoli Guy: To fully develop Broccoli Guy, you need 875 soul stones. For every ten auto-battles, you earn on average three soul stones. Assuming that you need about 6 minutes for every ten auto-battles, you will gather the necessary soul stones in 29 hours of pure grinding.

Once you have brought Ka-Boom to the maximum level of 70, you are likely to have enough soul stones for Smoke Scream to level him up. Eye Scream helps you to defeat your opponents in the arena faster. Furthermore, Eye Scream, like Smoke Scream, has the highest attack value of 2,652.
What skill does Eye Scream have? Eye Scream only has one attack available, which is extremely useful:
- Surprise – Attacks all enemies and triggers the status horror, preventing enemies from blocking damage or dodging. It also lowers defense against status effects for three rounds.
Where can I find the soul stones for Eye Scream? If you are already farming the hero Wham-Shell, you should quickly gather the needed soul stones for Eye Scream. Because like the hard-shelled crustacean, you can find the soul stones in the ninth world, the home of shadows, in stages 9.1 – 9.6 (easy, normal, and hard).
However, keep in mind that you can only farm Wham-Shell and Eye Scream together on the easy difficulty level. At least you will gather the soul stones for Eye Scream faster than for Wham-Shell.
