The cover of GTA 6 not only features stylish artworks of the characters, but there is a lot to discover in the details. So much so that waiting fans can pass the time until the release with analyses. Upon closer inspection, a small pickpocket is hidden in the image.
What is hidden in the cover artwork? In Lucia’s hand, who is leaning against Jason in the cover of GTA 6, she holds her pistol in such a way that upon closer inspection and zooming in, you can see the name of the weapon: Nipper 38.
This was shared by Reddit user enzinhojunior in the subreddit for GTA 6, noting that the name of the pistol also has a meaning. It is slang that gives the weapon a bit more personality and means something like “nipper,” but also “small pickpocket.”

What could this mean? The meaning of “Nipper” and its use as slang is quite old, dating back to the 19th century, where it meant something like “nipper” or “little boy.”
Originally, the term was used for someone who would run errands for a group of workers, but colloquially, it was also used for pickpockets who “nip” other people’s property (from “to nip” = “to pinch”), as can be read in the Online Etymology Dictionary.
What does this mean for Lucia and GTA 6? Of course, this is an interpretation and not a fact confirmed by Rockstar, but a weapon with this name could be a sign of petty crime and represent a type of little troublemaker who may seem inconspicuous but can still pinch hard.
Like a small pistol, but also like a woman amidst a much larger criminal conspiracy involving drug smuggling and other shady activities.
It is also exciting in light of examining another weapon in the cover artwork, namely that of experienced bank robber Raul Bautista, which is named “Duke.” Does Rockstar have something in mind with that?
