Happy families are a real rarity in the world of Game of Thrones. Yet some parents take it to the extreme. Therefore, we have given the worst mothers and fathers their own ranking: from pretty bad to absolutely inhumane and cruel.
What was the ranking based on? To be honest, there are a bunch of parents in Game of Thrones who are not exactly doing a great job. Many simply ignore their children. Especially when it comes to illegitimate “bastards.”
To narrow down the list a bit, we focused on the parents who not only ignored their children but actively harmed them.

Lysa Arryn – Thanks to her, you want to see little Robin fly
Rank 11 of the worst parents from the universe of Game of Thrones.
Lysa Arryn may not be the embodiment of cruelty when it comes to her son. Still, her “parenting” definitely did him no favors. She smothered her son Robin with excessive care, shielded him from reality, and spoiled him from head to toe. This not only made him weak and dependent but also spoiled and cruel.
Of course, Lysa also suffered from severe mental issues, which partially explain her behavior. Nevertheless, she was quite a bad mother for Robin in the end.
Anyone who is still breastfeeding their six-year-old child, and otherwise treating them like a baby, is causing them significant harm, especially in the ruthless Westeros.
