What did the player calculate? User facevaluemc shares his findings about the healing powers of the Arkveld sets with the community on Reddit. Through his calculations and experiments, he came to the following conclusions:
The regular Arkveld set heals you by about 4% of your total health at level 1 and around 6.5% at level 2 when you constantly attack opponents. Decorations would not be worth it here since you would reach a maximum healing power of 8.5%. It would be more sensible to focus on speed.
The Guardian Arkveld set heals 1/6 (i.e., 16.66%) of your total health at level 1, while at level 2, it heals already 1/3 (33.33%) of your health bar when you maximize wounds. If you then add a level 3 decoration with “Recovery Plus,” according to him, you achieve healing between 33 and 43% of your total health bar.
The number of hits needed to activate the skill with the regular Arkveld set depends on your chosen weapon. Likewise, heavy weapons would produce more healing with an activation than light ones, but would trigger less often.
Particularly, the Guardian Arkveld set is said to be especially powerful when you focus on breaking and maximizing wounds with your play style and build. Especially when combined with the skill “Recovery Plus,” you can create a strong healing build with this armor. If done smartly, you hardly need any more healing potions.
How did the player calculate this? To calculate the exact healing strength, facevaluemc used a pixel counter and first measured the total length of the health bar when he was buffed by a meal.
