The Twitch streamer Maximilian Trymacs
Stemmler is currently attempting a Pokémon shiny challenge again. He is currently playing Pokémon FireRed on the Nintendo Switch 2, even while on a tour through the USA with his Twitch colleagues.
Where is Trymacs currently? Trymacs is currently on a trip along Route 66 with his Twitch colleagues Paul Frege, Nici Stemmler, and Aditotoro. The road trip lasts several days and is being live-streamed around the clock on the Twitch channels of those involved.
What Trymacs could not do without on the journey was his Nintendo Switch 2 with the FireRed Pokémon edition. Since the re-release of the Pokémon editions FireRed and LeafGreen on the Nintendo Switch 2, he has made it his goal to catch only the shiny versions of Pokémon. In this generation of Pokémon, the chance of finding a shiny Pokémon is 1:8192 according to PokeWiki.
The Twitch streamer’s goal in Pokémon FireRed is now to assemble a whole team of shiny Pokémon and complete the game with them. Trymacs has once again taken on a longer Pokémon challenge – a previous challenge had already posed quite a challenge for him.
The route of the Route 66 tour passes by various attractions, and for most visitors, the Grand Canyon is likely to be a highlight. However, Trymacs will probably celebrate a different highlight at the end of the trip.
“I need the recording!”
What is likely the highlight for Trymacs? While the four Twitch streamers are currently traveling in their RV in the Grand Canyon, Trymacs is playing FireRed and finds a shiny Onix. With this, Trymacs believes he can finally challenge the Elite Four and the Champion, as he now has his desired team of shiny Pokémon together.
Trymacs seems to be so excited about finding the shiny Pokémon that he shouts out loudly to his colleague who is filming him: I need the recording!

Trymacs likes to try catching shiny versions of Pokémon, besides Pokémon challenges with his friends. He had a particularly tough time with one shiny challenge: Trymacs plays Pokémon on Twitch, is still in the first area after 143 hours, and completely broken
