Visenya was also a sister-wife of Aegon the Conqueror. Unlike her younger sister Rhaenys, however, she was anything but playful and nice. She was considered serious, grumpy, and unyielding.
Compared to the other women on this list, she had a clear advantage: she was a formidable warrior herself. She felt equally comfortable in chainmail and in a dress. She fought with the legendary Valyrian sword “Dark Sister,” which is wielded by Daemon in House of the Dragon.
As a dragon rider, Visenya was as relentless as she was in ground combat. She was the first and most powerful rider of Vhagar, with whom she fought in many battles. She saw dragon riding primarily as an extension of her military power. Her flying style was practical and designed for maximum impact.
Although Visenya could never match her younger sister in terms of elegance and passion while flying, she far surpassed her in combat.
