Blizzard shows no mercy to players. In World of Warcraft Dragonflight, you must face an old evil that still causes sleepless nights.
There are now thousands of quests in World of Warcraft. Most of them just pass by, being well-known gathering and killing quests. Other missions with epic stories remain memorable for longer. But only the most annoying of all quests burn themselves into memory and are collectively greeted by players with an exasperated groan.
Blizzard makes a joke out of this in Dragonflight and brings back one of the most exhausting NPCs of all time – who apparently has not learned from his mistakes: Khadgar’s servant is roaming in Valdrakken.
What does this refer to? The NPC “Khadgar’s improved servant” is an evolution of “Khadgar’s servant.” Those who played back in the days of “The Burning Crusade” might now feel the cold sweat of post-traumatic stress on their forehead. Because in the questline “City of Light,” you had to follow one of Khadgar’s elementals in Shattrath back then. He calmly guided you through the city, occasionally explaining things about the various factions and locations. This tour lasted several minutes.

Those who thought back then: “I won’t put myself through this nonsense” and simply went afk during the quest found upon their return that the quest was not completed. Because if you did not follow the elemental every step of the way, there was no quest progress, and you had to repeat the mission. Simply “skipping” was not an option either because back then the quest was practically mandatory if you wanted to unlock more quests in Shattrath.
“City of Light” remains one of the most hated quests to this day and a reason why many players have still not forgiven Khadgar and his elemental.

Where can you find Khadgar’s servant? In Valdrakken, the new capital in Dragonflight, you can encounter “Khadgar’s servant” once again starting in November. He will then be giving tours of the city and will be accompanied by 4 “visiting mages” who will comment on every (very slow) step of the elemental. Apparently, these mages have also had contact with Khadgar’s servants. They say things like:
“Can we not go any faster?”
“Why is this thing so slow?”
“Khadgar thinks he’s funny, doesn’t he?”
“That brings back memories. Not good ones, but memories.”
At least players in Dragonflight have a clear advantage: They can choose to follow Khadgar’s servant of their own free will and don’t have to do so because a quest forces them to – unlike the 4 NPC mages.
Today, on October 12, the next weekly update for Lost Ark is released, rewarding mainly new players and those who wish to return to the MMORPG. We at MeinMMO summarize the changes for you.
What kind of update is this? Although the login rewards also end on October 12 and new ones come with the patch, as well as smaller content updates, contrary to some assumptions, this is not the monthly October update. That is yet to come.
Therefore, the weekly update is smaller than the huge September update or the upcoming November patch. Nevertheless, you shouldn’t miss the update today, as it primarily rewards those of you who are currently not actively playing Lost Ark.
Update October 13: In the original version of the article, we speculated that this update could be the October update. However, that is not the case, and the big monthly update is yet to come, as Amazon informed us.
What does the update bring? The focus of the weekly update is on the new season pass, called Ark Pass 2. It once again offers free rewards when you complete certain tasks in the game. The first Ark Pass was introduced with the April update.
There is also a premium version of the Ark Pass, which includes exclusive content and skins, for which you will have to spend real money.
Additionally, there are new login rewards for everyone, but with a special gimmick for fans who haven’t been around for a while. Completely new players and returnees receive special login rewards for the next 15 days that are truly substantial.
According to Lost Ark, you count as a returnee if you haven’t logged in even once in the last 30 days. If you belong to that group, you will receive really hefty rewards starting today after the server downtime.

Lost Ark: Server Down on October 12 – How long offline?
When will the servers go offline? As usual, the Lost Ark servers will go down at 9 AM German time and remain down for several hours. The downtime depends mostly on which of the two European servers you are playing on.
How long will the Lost Ark servers be down? EU Central will have a relatively short 4-hour downtime. EU West, however, may face up to 12 hours of server downtime. The reason for this is the merging of servers in the EU West region.
Update 1:30 PM: The EU Central region is back online and you can already play. The server Evergrace has been renamed to Vaigrys, otherwise nothing has changed there. EU West remains offline.
How large will the download be? Since new skins are coming with the Ark Pass, this also means new textures need to be downloaded, so don’t expect a tiny download.
However, it should not be too large either. We will keep you updated in this article about when the servers will be back and how large the download will ultimately be.

Small Changes and Bug Fixes
What else does the update bring? Besides the ongoing express event and strong rewards for returnees, and of course the Ark Pass, there are only smaller changes in this update. These mainly include bug fixes and a small quality-of-life update.
This states that you will now get the gold for canceled crafting orders back on your island if you do not allow them to finish running. However, the gold you receive this way is again locked for 3 days and counts towards the held back gold, just like in trading.
Apart from that, there are only small bug fixes affecting a chat command and a cutscene. So nothing that would have stood out to you much.

In Genshin Impact there are many stories and long dialogues. A player does not want to go through them again on his second account and builds a machine that skips the conversations for him.
Some dialogues are more interesting than others and there are very many of them in Genshin Impact. You can let the conversations run on autoplay, but that is rather slower. It goes faster by repeatedly pressing the skip button.
The player zephyr8604 shows in a post on reddit a machine that he built himself. Ultimately, it is a mechanism that keeps pressing the same spot. If he places his controller at the right spot, his construction skips the dialogues for him. It is equipped with a type of electromagnet and he uses a program that he linked in the thread.

With PlayStation Stars, Sony has introduced a loyalty program for PlayStation. Starting today, October 13, 2022, you can also use the program in Germany. MeinMMO presents all the important information you need to know.
What is PlayStation Stars anyway? PlayStation Stars is a loyalty program from Sony for PlayStation. You collect points and digital collectibles through various actions. You can redeem the points for various items while you can showcase the collectibles. It’s an additional incentive for players who spend a lot of time in the PlayStation ecosystem.
How do I sign up? Currently, there are two ways to participate in the program. You cannot sign up directly via your PS4 or PS5, which is quite frustrating:
1st option: On the main page of the official PlayStation Store, there is a tab for PlayStation Stars. Here you log in with your PS account and follow the instructions on the screen.
2nd option: You install the PlayStation App on your phone and log in through it. Again, follow the instructions on the screen.
Which option is better? At first, we recommend the app and it has a simple reason: The rewards and ongoing campaigns from Sony can currently only be viewed through the app and not via PC. If anything changes, we will update the article.
What are these points? With the “PlayStation Stars” program, you earn points for various tasks. You can redeem these points for various rewards. It’s essentially a new digital currency on the PS4 and PS5.
How long are the points valid? Once you have earned points, they are valid for 24 months. You should redeem them in time, as they will eventually expire.
What do you earn points for? You can earn points through various actions:
By completing specific tasks or “campaigns” from PlayStation.
As a PS Plus subscriber, you receive 4% of your purchases back in points.

What rewards are available? The rewards that you can unlock with PlayStation Stars vary greatly. The main content of PlayStation Stars consists of digital collectibles that you can showcase in a display case. Additionally, you can collect points that you can redeem for various items. What games can you buy? For certain actions, you collect points with PlayStation Stars. You can redeem these points for specific games. However, these games are pre-determined, so you cannot buy random games in the store. Currently, the following games are available:

These games are supposed to be available until the end of 2022. Afterwards, Sony will either offer a new selection of games or expand the existing selection.
What do the games cost? The prices vary significantly. According to the online magazine Gamerant, prices start at 6,250 points for the action game Hades and go up to 17,500 points for the game The Quarry. So you cannot just buy the best game with a handful of points.
With the collected points, you can also obtain free credit for the PS Store. Instead of getting digital collectibles, you can invest your points in new games. Thanks to the credit, you are free to buy a new game, for example.
How many points do I need? The online magazine Gamerant refers to US prices. However, we assume that the prices in Germany will be similar:
For 1,250 points, you get 5 euros credit
For 5,000 points, you get 20 euros credit.

The upcoming survival game ARK 2 is set to be included in the Game Pass for 3 years. The information comes from a filing by publisher Snail Games to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
ARK: Survival Evolved is a very popular survival game and fans of the title are eagerly awaiting the sequel. Even though the release of ARK 2 has been delayed, there are now new interesting details available.
The ARK YouTuber GP found a filing by publisher Snail Games to the SEC that gives insight into agreements between Studio Wildcard, the developers of ARK 2, and Microsoft (via YouTube).
Who is GP? GP is an ARK YouTuber with nearly 4,700 subscribers who reports on news related to ARK: Survival Evolved and ARK 2.
In June 2022, GP made headlines when he stated in a video that Studio Wildcard CEO Douglas H. Kennedy had informed him when there would be ‘plenty of new information’ available about ARK 2. When the info drop mentioned by GP occurred, there was only the release date trailer for ARK 2, which announced a delay along with the new Steam page.

What information does the document contain? The document, which is also referenced in a report by the online magazine gamesradar.com, includes a sentence stating that ARK 2 will be included in the Game Pass for three years starting from its release (via sec.report).

The company has also entered into a long-term title licensing agreement (‘Game Pass’) with Microsoft for a period of three years. The company recognizes deferred revenues and amortizes these revenues according to the terms of the respective contract. The agreement was originally entered into in November 2018 between the parties and is valid until December 31, 2021. The agreement was subsequently amended in June 2020 to extend the ARK 1 Game Pass indefinitely effective January 1, 2022, and to include ARK 2 in the Game Pass for three years upon release.
Furthermore, the document indicates that Microsoft paid $2.5 million to keep ARK: Survival Evolved in the Game Pass for the first half of 2022. Additionally, Microsoft is reported to have paid another $2.3 million to ensure that ARK 2 will be in the Game Pass at the time of the release of the survival title.
Alongside Microsoft, Sony is also mentioned in the document. Sony is said to have paid $3.5 million to include ARK: Survival Evolved as part of the PS Plus games in March 2022.

What do the new information mean for ARK fans? The information that ARK 2 will be included in the Game Pass is not new. However, ARK fans can look forward to the 3-year deal with Microsoft on Xbox and PC, as the subscription service allows players to test the game directly at release without having to purchase it at full price.
In contrast to ARK: Survival Evolved, ARK 2 will also feature cross-platform modding, making community-created mods available in ARK 2 on all platforms – even on Xbox consoles – and playable on unofficial servers. This was not possible in the predecessor ARK: Survival Evolved and makes the survival title even more appealing for ‘Game Pass’ subscribers.
Are there any new updates for PlayStation players? Unfortunately, there is currently no new information regarding ARK 2 for PlayStation players, and a release of the survival game for the PS4 or PS5 has not yet been announced. ARK 2 will be released exclusively for Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Witchfire is an upcoming shooter that gameplay-wise resembles Destiny. Now the title has postponed its “Early Access” launch due to a single feature.
Which shooter is it about? Witchfire (PC) is a first-person shooter developed by the Polish studio The Astronauts, sending you into a war against witches. You are armed with firearms and spells. Witchfire is set to be released on the Epic Games Store.
The studio The Astronauts is known for The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and consists of former employees of People Can Fly, which released the looter shooter Outriders in 2021. The expansion Worldslayer was released in the summer of 2022.
Why should Witchfire play like Destiny? In a blog post from 2019, Creative Director Adrian Chmielarz addressed the similarities to Destiny. There, he praised the weapon behavior of the popular shooter.
Those who have been following the game have noticed a lot of Destiny in Witchfire. Fortunately, no one seems to have a problem with it… and for good reason. […] The way the weapons feel and the physics-based movement is, for me, the best there is in the business.
Chmielarz also added that Witchfire is inspired by Destiny:
Destiny takes from other games, other games take from Destiny […]. We also take from Destiny, but hopefully it will be clear that the similarities on a top level are merely superficial.
When is the release? Originally, the early access release of Witchfire was scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2022. However, at the beginning of the quarter, Creative Director Adrian Chmielarz announced that the early access launch would be postponed.
The new goal is for Witchfire to potentially start early access at the beginning of 2023. Thus, the reason for the delay he cites is the redesigning of a core feature.

Witchfire changes how players experience the world
What feature is it about? The changes affect the rogue-lite elements of the dark fantasy shooter. According to Chmielarz, Witchfire will still be a rogue-lite shooter, but the way players experience the world has significantly changed.
They have transformed the combat area from an arena restricted by barriers to a semi-open world, and this transition, according to Chmielarz, took time (via theastronauts.com).
What does combat in an arena look like? Combat in an arena restricted by barriers is known from many games. An example of this is the zones in Destiny 2, where respawns are only limited. You cannot leave such a combat area and must defeat numerous enemies or bosses within the barriers before you can proceed. Often, there is loot for players after a successful battle in such an arena.
Why was there a shift to a semi-open world? Combat in an arena made sense, according to Chmielarz, as it controlled the flow of the game, but they felt “old school”.
More freedom, but also many questions to answer
How does this change affect gameplay? Chmielarz also explained in the blog post why the semi-open world and the associated freedom make the game better. He says:
[…] You can still be caught by a witch at any point, and some doors are locked until you find a key. Also, it might be too dangerous to enter areas near a boss before you are ready. But the world is wide open for you to explore in almost any order, and you can both push forward or retreat as you wish.
Thus, a semi-open world gives players the opportunity to enter an area and possibly retreat later. However, according to Chmielarz, this raised several gameplay questions that the development team needed to solve:
Should the enemies stay in the area if the player moves away?
Should the enemies follow the player?
What if the player runs into another new area where even more monsters appear? Should both groups of monsters merge?
If so, what reward should the player receive: one from the new area, one from the old, or both?
If both, isn’t it essentially an incentive for the player to run into a cave and push enemies into a narrow corridor?
And what about players who just run amok and trigger one area after another, can the game handle a hundred enemies at once?
Should the enemies despawn or freeze behind walls?
“Hundreds of questions that needed to be answered. Hundreds of little solutions that needed to be implemented,” Chmielarz added, explaining why the redesign necessitated a delay in the release.

Scars of Honor is a new MMORPG in development, which visually and in content strongly resembles WoW Classic. Humans, dwarves, and elves fight together against the hostile alliance of undead and orcs. The game was announced in 2021, and now there is a new video along with information about the upcoming alpha test.
What kind of game is this? Scars of Honor will be a classic MMORPG with tab-targeting. At launch, you will have the choice of eight different races, four of which will play on the side of the “Sacred Order,” while the other four races belong to the “Domination.”
You level from level 1 to level 50. You have 10 different classes to choose from.
On the way to max level, you can already complete dungeons that are supposed to scale, both in mechanics and loot.
There will be a crafting system and player housing.
In endgame, dungeons and raids will play a major role.
There will be arena PvP, guild wars, and open-world PvP between factions.
Scars of Honor is set to become a free-to-play MMORPG that will be funded through a shop. However, the developers emphasize that this will be free from gameplay advantages such as additional bank slots and pay-to-win elements.
Where does the game currently stand? Scars of Honor is still at an early stage of development. However, the team behind the MMORPG has now released a video in which they talk about the progress and the upcoming alpha test:

What have the developers achieved in recent months? In recent months, the game world has changed significantly. Content creator Kaloyan Vladimirov describes the major milestones in the video:
The two races, dwarves and undead, have been implemented.
There is now a mount system.
You no longer run underwater, but have a swimming animation – haha, New World.
There are now quests that players can complete, which was not the case during the first test in early 2022.
A group system has been introduced.
All these new features can be tested by all players in the future, provided they purchase an appropriate package.
How does the test work? The next alpha test of Scars of Honor runs from October 24 to October 30. To participate, you must financially support the game.

The TOTW 4 in FIFA 23 is now available. This time, there are some interesting cards in the Team of the Week. The chance of getting usable picks from the Weekend League is not bad at all.
When does TOTW 4 come out? TOTW 4 is now available in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. It was introduced on Wednesday, October 12, at 19:00 and will remain for a week. By the way, on the same day the new Title Update 2 was released.
You can pull the cards from packs, but the chance of top cards is low. Additionally, you can buy them on the transfer market, although you often need many coins. How to get them is explained in our Trading Guide to FIFA 23.
Moreover, you can get them as rewards from the Weekend League, but you need to reach a certain rank.

These cards alone provide good arguments to maybe give the Weekend League a try this weekend, as there are TOTW cards in the red FUT Champions rewards.
However, the other picks also look quite good. Donnarumma, for example, impresses with his very high rating (89), while the cards for Correa (85) and Bruno Guimaraes (84) have decent stats. Additionally, interesting players like Pépé (82), Valencia (81), or Modeste (82) sit on the “bench.”
The biggest Twitch streamers have been discussing the future of the platform for a few weeks now. Well-known names like Asmongold and xQc are advocating for less advertising. Only one streamer breaks this mold: Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp.
What is currently happening on Twitch?
In September, Twitch’s officials announced that big streamers will receive less money in the future. Starting in June 2023, the special rule that allowed some streamers to receive 70% of subscriber earnings after earning over $100,000 will be lifted.
Twitch justifies this by stating that it aims to create more fairness among streamers and cover the rising costs of the platform. In return, revenue shares have been increased for everyone.
However, many streamers are upset about the advertising and would prefer to reduce it.
At TwitchCon, some of them met with Twitch officials. There, Tyler1 is said to have asked for a button for longer advertising.

What exactly did the streamer say? The well-known streamer xQc shared a story during his livestream. He reports that all the streamers in the room had asked to reduce the advertising.
Then Tyler1 is said to have raised his hand and said the following to the Twitch employee:
Bro, can we get a button for five minutes of ads at a time, please? The three-minute button is good, but I need one for five. I don’t care. People get 40 hours of free content, watch the damn ads!
Tyler1 himself confirms the statement in his stream. He says that he only runs ads before or after a LoL match and nothing really happens then.
Those who have not subscribed to him (which makes the channel ad-free) or cannot properly configure their ad blocker deserve no better. It wouldn’t matter whether the ads run for three or five minutes.

Asmongold, one of the biggest MMORPG streamers of all time, demands a reduction in advertisements. He criticizes that when calling up a stream, one might have to watch up to six blocks of ads. After months of ongoing and sometimes loud criticism of the direction of Call of Duty and Warzone, Doc recently expressed himself in his stream about Modern Warfare 2. MW2 would feel good, he could hardly wait for the release and would prefer to stream it right away. But he is upset about one feature: SBMM.
The beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has now ended and there are certainly a lot of players who would like to play a few more rounds of Invasion or Team Deathmatch before MW2 is released at the end of October.
The beta received a lot of feedback and also some controversies, and many streamers shared their opinions. Among them is now also Dr Disrespect.

What does Dr Disrespect think of MW2? While many big streamers shared their first impressions live with their fans during the CoD event at the start of the beta, the Doc held back a bit with his opinion. Infinity Ward did not invite him to the event and Dr Disrespect was pretty angry about that. Allegedly, he was too negative towards the franchise. In the months before, he ranted about the developers, the game, and especially the sound design.
But now the turnaround: When he was recently asked in the stream (via youtube.com) about his opinion on the beta of Modern Warfare 2, the Doc surprisingly showed himself to be conciliatory: “You know, I would actually really like to play a round of Modern Warfare Multiplayer! Now would be a good time for that. Level some weapons, level my operator, and learn the maps! Yeah!”

What does Dr Disrespect criticize about MW2? Despite all the praise, the Doc is particularly bothered by one feature – the Skill-Based Matchmaking. “I actually found the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer really great, well, at least until the stupid SBMM started to annoy me.”
Dr Disrespect argues that tougher lobbies diminish the fun of the game: “I want to have fun and not have to watch my gameplay closely every minute.”
What is SBMM? Skill-Based Matchmaking is actually not a new feature but has been used in Call of Duty since 2007. The feature ensures that you always face opponents who match the level of your skills. This is supposed to ensure that the lobbies are fairer and beginners are not constantly beaten by professionals.
Streamers, content creators, and parts of the community, however, believe that the SBMM mechanic is applied far too aggressively. They argue that it punishes experienced players for good gameplay, as their lobbies become consistently tougher.

FIFA 23 has not been on the market for long, but there are already more and more curious bugs in the game. We show you what has gone wrong lately.
FIFA 23 is only about two weeks old, but the bugs are already piling up. And especially at launch, things did not go well at all. First, PC players faced significant problems with the new anti-cheat system, which sometimes prevented them from playing.
So peace is not returning to FIFA, and the bugs just keep coming. They are currently not as serious, but extremely strange. We will show you three particularly curious bugs from the last few days.
EA confuses players and puts wrong images on cards
This is what happened: In the new Dynamic Duo SBC (Squad Building Challenge), which introduces two special cards of Leeds United players Rodrigo and Jack Harrison to the game, EA made a mistake. The developer assigned the wrong images to the cards.
So on the Harrison card, there is a picture of Rodrigo, and vice versa. Here you can see the cards:
What does EA say? EA Sports has not commented on the error, but it has now been corrected so that the correct images are now represented on the cards.
Wrong cards sometimes appear in packs
This is what happened: A bug that occasionally happens in FUT: In special packs, the announced special cards are not included, but instead mostly just gold cards. This happened with the last Weekend League rewards (via Twitter).
Also, and perhaps a bit more frustrating, it was for pre-orderers who opened their exclusive OTW Pack. Because even there, some players initially did not find an OTW card in it, but another gold card.
The same thing happened shortly thereafter on October 11 two more times:
In the Pre-Season rewards, there were normal gold cards of players who currently have special cards in packs.
In the guaranteed TOTW pack of the pre-orderers, players from TOTW 2 were found instead of TOTW 1.
What does EA say? EA has addressed these errors and has already made the corrected packs available to some players:
Players who received gold cards instead of OTW cards should now get their OTW cards (via Twitter).
The corrected pre-season rewards will be given to the players in the coming days (via Twitter).
The guaranteed TOTW pack has already been received by the affected players (via Twitter).
The erroneous cards can be kept by the players in such cases.
FIFA shows Napoli crest without holding the license
This is what happened: In the Ultimate Team menu, a graphic for the match between SSC Napoli and Ajax Amsterdam was displayed, which does not initially sound like a bug. However, EA no longer holds the license for the Italian club since this year. This now belongs to Konami with eFootball.

In League of Legends the champion “Yuumi” is hated. Many pro players, Twitch streamers and viewers can’t stand the magical, somewhat parasitic cat: At Worlds, Yuumi is once again a popular pick. Worse yet: The cat performs outstandingly well, having now won all its games in the group stage. Especially the Europeans from G2 Esports felt this impact. The German Twitch streamer Frederik “NoWay” Hinteregger has had enough of the sweet-natured four-legged friend.
The cat Yuumi has an 88% presence in group stage matches: It was either played or banned in almost all matches. This can be found on the stats page oracleselixir .
Yuumi has a 100% win rate in the group stage: She was used 4 times and won all 4 games – only the heroine Sivir (4 games – 4 wins) can match that. Even the mighty Aatrox only has a win rate of 57%.
What is the problem – she is just a cute cat? The playstyle of Yuumi is vastly different from any other hero in LoL: Because Yuumi “merges” with another champion – she can no longer be targeted.
She is, so to speak, the parasite of another champion, hanging on to them, can make them stronger, buff them and heal – even deal damage herself.
Normally a support character is a popular target to be harassed and attacked during the laning phase: The usually defenseless class is typically the role that dies the most in a LoL match. But you just can’t catch Yuumi.
Because of this playstyle, Yuumi is generally hated. Professionals often say: This champ should simply be deleted, should not be in the game.

He likely had just seen the match between the Chinese JDG and the Europeans G2: There, Missang played the heroine Yuumi and finished with a solid 2-2-10.
Giving the Chinese the botlane of Yuumi and Sivir was estimated as a game-changing mistake by G2 on reddit .

The heroine is simply overpowered, can heal and deal damage like a midlaner – and is herself untouchable. EU teams are advised: Either play her themselves or ban her.
Another adds: It’s just so boring to watch Yuumi. You can’t even punish her in the early game.
The champ might be okay to allow “beginners” to start in LoL, but has no place in professional play, judges a third Twitter user.
Yuumi is a red rag for many pros. They see no way to fix the cat somehow. Some of the best players say: She simply needs to be deleted.

The launch of Overwatch 2 was a wild rodeo ride that pushed both players and developers to their limits. In addition to numerous minor and major bugs, server issues and DDoS attacks caused difficulties. Now, many errors have been fixed, and slowly but surely, peace is returning. Blizzard is using this to apologize to players and ask for reconciliation with a free, legendary skin.

Thematically, the skin fits perfectly with Halloween, and it is safe to assume that it would have been included in the Halloween update anyway – but probably as a premium skin with a purchase option.
Additionally, Blizzard is launching a weapon charm that you can stick onto your heroes’ guns. It is represented as a large health pack that you can also find on various maps to restore your health points. The charm is, of course, just a cosmetic gimmick – real healing should not be expected.
The charm is likely to bring emotional relief, especially for Genji players.
How do you get the skin? To receive the skin and the charm, you just need to log into Overwatch 2 starting from October 25. Then both cosmetic items will be automatically unlocked for your account and can be permanently used in-game.
The skin and the weapon charm will be available until the end of the season, i.e., until early December. You have about 6 weeks from October 25 to claim both rewards.
What about the double XP weekends? If you’re trying to progress efficiently to level 80 in the Battle Pass, you should wait for the start of the double XP weekends. During these weekends, match XP will be doubled, allowing for faster progress in the Battle Pass.

How the community reacts: The reactions from the player base are rather subdued, especially in the Overwatch subreddit. Many are unhappy that there is a skin for a hero who is played by only a fraction of the players. They would have preferred if there were enough credits for a legendary skin of their choice instead of a Reaper skin now.
However, some feel this is a first good step towards improvement to get Overwatch 2 back on the right track.
Some speculate that this is not a gesture of goodwill at all, but that Blizzard had already planned these free gifts for the launch of the Halloween event and is now just turning it into a “We’re sorry” package. However, this is difficult to verify.

Streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo was at the center of serious allegations a few weeks ago: The 27-year-old allegedly covered up an incident of sexual harassment by a friend. The public outrage was significant. Now, he is back on Twitch after a 3-week break. Not everyone is pleased.
What triggered the public outrage against Mizkif?
Mizkif was involved in a word battle with streamer Trainwreck, concerning gambling on Twitch. Trainwreck is the most successful casino streamer on Twitch, throwing around money and apparently possessing neither filters nor a strong impulse control. So he is exactly the kind of person you definitely do not want to get into a word fight with.
Suddenly, Trainwreck confronted him, saying Mizkif should get off his high moral horse. He had allegedly sent his then-girlfriend Maya Higa and the streamer Mitch Jones to extort girls to cover up sexual misconduct.
The accusation hit hard and abruptly halted Mizkif’s Twitch career.
This was the immediate reaction to the allegation:
The discussion concerning this accusation quickly engulfed not only Mizkif’s community but also that of Twitch and Twitter. It worsened as details emerged, with the affected streamer Adriannah Lee herself coming forward, revealing that she was apparently sexually assaulted in her sleep by a friend of Mizkif.
Clips surfaced in which Mizkif downplayed the incident.
Almost as a matter of course, Mizkif was not on air for weeks: While there was no ban from Twitch or anything like that, he disappeared for several weeks.
The career of Mizkif, it seemed, was paused until the case was finally resolved.
The last thing we heard from Mizkif was his voice in a secret call, where he seemed almost helpless and attempted to devise a damage control strategy with the help of Asmongold.

This was now his return to streaming: After 3 weeks of hiatus, Mizkif was now back on Twitch. He said he had gone through the worst weeks of his life. Plagued by nightmares, he could barely sleep, perhaps 3 hours a night.
Regarding the incident that still remains unresolved, he would like to talk but cannot. His lawyers have strongly advised him to remain silent about the case while the investigation by the law firm is ongoing.

The German Twitch streamer quiteLola is an IRL streamer and is constantly in contact with strangers. During a trip to the US, she visited TwitchCon in San Diego and also went to the “Walk of Fame” in Los Angeles. However, in LA she had an experience with an upset passerby who felt her privacy was violated and lost her composure.
Who is the streamer?
quiteLola is a successful German Twitch streamer who has grown significantly on Twitch in recent months. She has only been on the platform since 2021 – however, when looking solely at the last 90 days, she ranks among the largest German female streamers on Twitch by average viewers, just behind AnniTheDuck.
However, she doesn’t stream games; she primarily does “IRL streams” – probably one of the most dangerous things you can do on Twitch, because you have no control over the situation.
We last reported on quiteLola on MeinMMO when she got caught in the crossfire of a confrontation during Gamescom 2022. She tried to calm the upset dance ban and ended up getting caught in the middle of it.
This was the situation in the USA: quiteLola was at the “Walk of Fame” in Los Angeles, a popular tourist attraction.
There she was doing an IRL stream, filming herself. But a passerby apparently perceived “woman with camera” as a spying attack against her and flipped out.
As seen in a 53-second clip on Twitch, the woman angrily followed the German streamer and demanded that she “stop filming and delete the video.”
Apparently, the woman believes she was filmed against her will. She called the streamer a “slut” and wouldn’t let up.
The streamer should delete the video right then and there. She is obviously crazy to just film her. quiteLola is visibly uncomfortable with the situation, which becomes increasingly unpleasant by the second.
The German streamer tries to de-escalate the situation and simply walk away, but the woman continues to follow her, calling the streamer a slut and “crazy” again. When quiteLola calls the police, the woman excitedly agrees: Yes, the police must get involved. The fact that other people are supporting the streamer seems completely incomprehensible to the passerby.

How does the situation resolve? The streamer sought the company of people who have something to say about the situation, explained what happened, and asked for help. Apparently, someone took care of the woman so that the streamer could continue her work.

What are these IRL streams? “IRL” streams on Twitch refer to streams that take place in “real life” (In Real Life). These streams are mostly categorized under “Just Chatting,” which is the largest category on Twitch – larger than any game.
They are streams that operate without a script or large concept: A person goes out in public and films what happens to them there.

In Diablo Immortal, inactive clans are currently causing frustration among players. They reach the top 10 of the PvP tournament “Shadow Wars” and perform better than teams that actually play matches and compete against other clans.
Both factions serve as competing parties in PvP and compete against each other in the Ritual of Banishment.
The Shadow Wars are weekly PvP tournaments in Diablo Immortal. The top 10 teams of the Shadow Wars qualify for the Ritual of the Banished.
Why are the Shadow Wars played? To experience perhaps the best mode of Diablo Immortal and to become an Immortal, you must succeed in the Ritual of Banishment. However, to participate in the Ritual, you must first survive the Shadow War. The Shadow War takes place over the course of a week for the Shadow clans.
After the Shadow War, 8 players from the 10 best Shadow clans must compete in the Ritual of Banishment against teams of the Immortals and win at least 6 of the battles.
If the Shadows are successful, they can challenge the leader of the Immortals. If they defeat the leader, a Battle Royale begins, and the winners become the new Immortals.
What is the problem with inactive clans? There are repeated reports from players on reddit about inactive clans in the Shadow Wars. These inactive clans are not an insignificant annoyance, as they reach the top 10 of the Shadow Wars without playing.
This means that Shadow teams that are not playing at all compete against the Immortals. This makes it even easier for the Immortals, as noted by reddit user Sir_Gut (via reddit).

Inactive clans face off in the tournament bracket
How is it possible for inactive clans to succeed? The matches of the Shadow Wars are divided into different brackets, meaning individual branches of the tournament tree. Apparently, inactive clans are also considered in the formation of the individual brackets, and when they meet in the playoffs, an inactive clan inevitably advances to the next round.
User Timely_Country353 shows a screenshot of a bracket on reddit that exemplifies such a scenario:

What does the screenshot show? Timely_Country353 states that all three clans in the shown bracket are inactive and that the fourth place in the tournament branch is unoccupied. This results in an inactive clan automatically advancing to the next round.
In the second match, an inactive clan competes against another. This also guarantees the advancement of an inactive clan. The two “victorious” inactive clans then advance to the final round and determine the winner of the bracket.
Subsequently, Timely_Country353 shows with another screenshot that the two inactive clans that reached the final of the bracket are listed in the weekly top 10 of the shadow clans, allowing their players to compete against the Immortals in the Ritual of Banishment.
Why do active players have it hard? There are of course not only inactive clans in Diablo Immortal, even if they are in the top 10 because they “played” against other inactive clans.
There are also clans with active players who had to compete against active clans and lost those matches. Those teams are consequently not in the top 10 because they lost against active players, while the inactive clans seal their advancement against each other.
