This is the FIFA 23 transfer market: In Ultimate Team, players can buy and sell pretty much all types of items that you can get. You will get, among other things:

- Cosmetics for club and stadium – like jerseys, goal anthems, and more
Important for the transfer market is that only coins earned in the game can be used for trading. The real money currency “FIFA Points” cannot be used for purchases on the transfer market.
The goal of trading in FIFA 23 is to buy items cheaply, which you can then sell for profit. With smart trading, you can use the transfer market to acquire more coins there.
These can then be used to specifically enhance your team – without the use of real money.
Because this is something you should always keep in mind in Ultimate Team: Buying packs is usually not worth it. The chance to pull strong cards from packs in the shop is poor.

Consider the “Transfer Fee” when trading
What is this fee? The transfer fee, which some players like to call the “EA fee”, deducts 5% from all selling prices you achieve on the transfer market. This is a fundamental rule of the transfer market.
Let’s say you sell a player for 10,000 coins. You will only receive 9,500 coins credited.
This is bad if you just bought the player 10 times for 9,700 coins and then sold it 10 times for 10,000. Instead of a profit of 3,000 coins, you now have a loss of 2,000 coins to report.
This means: Consider this 5% before deciding how much you buy for players you want to sell afterwards.
Use the right timing for meta players
What should be considered? FIFA 23 has just launched, and many player cards are steadily increasing.
This is partly because new players are only now getting the necessary coins to pay high prices on the transfer market. Therefore, meta players are currently on the rise, shortly after the FIFA 23 release.
It is conceivable that many cards will continue to rise at least until the first Weekend League – because then good players want to build powerful teams. Investing in such players now can be worthwhile.
Outside of the “start phase”, Thursday morning has established itself as a time when you might find cheap cards. Because that’s when many players pick up their Division Rivals rewards. These are then sold quickly and cheaply – that’s when you can strike.
Later in the day, towards Friday, cards can again increase when players start tinkering with their Weekend League teams. If you have bought interesting cards here, you will have a chance for profit.
