On Amazon, sellers regularly lure with great offers. An 8 TB SSD for 80 euros sounds genius, but you should definitely not buy it.
Every gamer might need additional storage. Modern games are getting larger and require more storage space on your conventional hard drive or SSD. Some sellers are currently offering a particularly tempting deal on Amazon: An SSD with 8 TB storage for under 100 euros.
However, you should stay away from these “offers”. There is a scam behind it, as some YouTubers and users explain.
What great offers are these? You will find plenty of great deals around SSDs and USB sticks on Amazon:
Currently, you can find several of these “offers” listed directly on Amazon.
In some cases, the product is shipped directly by Amazon, in others through a third-party vendor.
Advertising is done with similar images and either with 8 or 16 TB of storage for under 100 euros.
YouTubers and experts warn and explain how the fake behind such products works
How does the fake behind such products work? USB sticks with 1 TB of storage for 20 euros are not uncommon. However, such products often only contain 32 GB of storage (via SSD-Tester.de). The online magazine explains:
The components are often bought for very little money. A memory controller and a memory card cost only a few euros.
Subsequently, the memory controller on the SSD is modified by the fraudsters.
When you connect such a device to your computer, it will indeed display 8 TB of storage. However, this information is incorrect.
With the free tool H2testw, you can quickly check if the product can write the correct amount of data to an SSD or USB stick.
As long as you do not use the real capacity of the device, the manipulation goes unnoticed.
The YouTuber DIY Geek ordered the SSD from Amazon for 80 euros and subsequently disassembled it (via youtube.com): Instead of an M.2 SSD, he finds a microSD card with 64 GB inside, which is stuck to the memory controller.
Similarly, Krazy Ken’s Tech Talk refers to the problems with such products (via youtube.com). The devices resemble popular products from Samsung and others, but inside only an SD card and a modified memory controller are present. The modified firmware then ensures that you see completely unrealistic numbers.
Both YouTubers and the online magazine clearly warn against such products. In the worst case, your data that you want to store on such a device could be lost.
We have asked a manufacturer on Amazon for a statement regarding the cheap products.

What else is strange? If you take a look at the currently best deal for a 20 TB SSD, you will notice that the price is at least 322 euros. If you also look at the general offers, such as those on Geizhals, you will find that you won’t pay less than 300 euros for such a large SSD anywhere.
After this information, you should be rather skeptical about such offers on Amazon.
Additionally, there are very few reviews and these reviews are also very bad because the first customers have already fallen for the offer, as they themselves write. Furthermore, the seller is very new on Amazon and has few or no reviews.
More fake products: A similar case of fake hardware also exists in the graphics card sector. A gamer recently discovered such a graphics card and stumbled upon the “notorious” fake GPU. You should rather avoid it today:
Are you looking for the best classes for “Mythic+” runs in WoW (World of Warcraft)? The overview from Raider.IO shows the currently strongest groups and which classes they rely on.
Dungeons at the Mythic+ difficulty level belong to the classic endgame content of an expansion for many players in World of Warcraft. Here, you play dungeons at the highest difficulty level. To complete these challenges within the time limit, some classes are more suitable due to their abilities than others. The boss says that all classes can achieve Mythic+20, but players do not see that.
In the top rankings for this content, certain classes repeatedly appear with few exceptions. Apparently, the professional players have found a group composition that usually works well.
Update: We have updated this article with your feedback and adjusted it, now focusing on the top 5 groups worldwide and what classes and specs they are using. Thank you for your feedback.
Place 1 uses a vengeance demon hunter as tank, a restoration shaman as healer, and retribution paladin, outlaw or subtlety rogue, and a fury or arms warrior as DPS
Place 2 uses a protection warrior as tank, a restoration druid as healer, and destruction demon hunter, outlaw rogues, and enhancement shamans as DPS
Place 3 uses a protection warrior as tank, a preservation evoker as healer, and outlaw/subtlety rogues, fury or arms warrior, and enhancement shamans as DPS
Place 4 uses a guardian druid as tank, a preservation evoker or holy paladin as healer, and a destruction demon hunter, marksmanship hunter, and shadow priest as DPS
Place 5 uses a protection warrior as tank, a restoration druid as healer, and windwalker monk, outlaw rogues, and enhancement shamans as DPS
What stands out? Four of the top 5 groups worldwide at Raider.IO rely on teams that deal physical damage at melee range. These combinations aim to buff certain classes. For example, rogues gain enormous damage through warriors and enhancement shamans in the group.
If a major balance patch is coming in WoW, the top list might change quickly, and other classes or specializations could climb up.
Which classes and specializations do you use in your Mythic runs? Share your experiences here on MeinMMO in the comments and discuss with other players.

What kind of box is this? Normally, the boxes in the Pokémon GO shop are not necessarily cheap, which has been criticized in the past. This makes it even more striking when a cheap offer suddenly appears there – and there is currently such a deal in the shop.
Currently, there is a new “Boost Box” for 399 coins. It contains the following items:
5 Premium Battle Passes
5 Super Incubators
1x Pokémon Storage Upgrade
1x Item Bag Upgrade
If you calculate the individual prices for these items, you would come to a total of 1900 coins.
1 Premium Battle Pass usually costs 100 coins, so 5 would amount to 500
1 Super Incubator costs 200 coins, so 5 would be 1000 coins
An upgrade for Pokémon Storage normally costs 200 coins
The Item Bag Upgrade also costs 200 coins individually
So you can save about 1500 coins if you purchase the current Boost Box instead of buying the items individually.
The new, powerful Boost Box in the shop
You should note: Some trainers report that they only see the box in the shop after they restart their game.
Attention: Currently, the shop is also showing a second “Boost Box” for 399 coins, containing a Super Incubator, 2 Egg Incubators, and a Lucky Egg. These items would normally total 580 coins. Thus, the price is still reasonable, but the other Boost Box is significantly more worthwhile.
Trainers surprised by strong box:
How the box is received: In the Pokémon GO subreddit “TheSilphRoad”, the new boxes are currently being discussed (via reddit).

Trainers are responding positively because Pokémon GO rarely offers strong items at such a reduced coin price.
“I grabbed the second box as soon as I saw it. The best box I’ve seen in a while,” writes user mutucan (via reddit).
“I bought the second one as soon as I saw it. I needed both upgrades and the rest is basically free. I’m still unsure about the first one,” says user “sonjya00” (via reddit).
“The second one made me buy a box for the first time in ages. More of that, please!” (via reddit).
“Niantic is making a good box? Impossible,” says one user (via reddit).
Some trainers even suspect that the strong box must have been a mistake – especially in comparison to the other Boost Box, which offers the same price but a much weaker deal.
At the same time, the box is also causing frustration for some trainers. Because, currently, trainers who have already maxed out their Pokémon or item storage report that they cannot buy the box.
The upgrades are no longer applicable for them, which is why apparently the whole box is unavailable. These trainers are frustrated that they cannot access the remaining items at the discounted price.
What do you think about the new box? Are you grabbing it, or is it not for you? Let us know in the comments!
Otherwise, a new Community Day for April has just been announced in Pokémon GO.

During the beta of Diablo 4, players found a secret boss that appeared randomly in their dungeons – and gave them quite a challenge. This is the Butcher, one of the most dangerous bosses in the entire Diablo series.
What kind of boss is this? The Butcher, better known by his original name “The Butcher”, is a boss from Diablo 1. There he surprised many players with his iconic line: “Ah, Fresh Meat” as they entered his slaughterhouse.
Since his first appearance, the Butcher has been present in several Diablo installments. During the Diablo 4 beta, players have now discovered that the Butcher also appears in the latest installment of the series.
In Diablo 1, the Butcher had his own room adorned with dismembered corpses and splattered blood. In Diablo 4, he can appear randomly in dungeons – as an additional boss that heats things up for you.
What makes the Butcher so dangerous? The massive demon wields a huge cleaver and pulls players towards him with his meat hook to attack them. His charge attack, which can instantly kill careless heroes, is especially dangerous.
Since part 1, the Butcher has been considered one of the toughest bosses in the series, especially since he can hit players unexpectedly and is remarkably quick for his size. His attacks are fast and simultaneously powerful. Like all enemies in Diablo 4, he scales with the dungeon level.
Diablo 4: The gameplay video of the barracks of Tor Dragan with Bluddshed and a developer
The Butcher is already slaughtering players in the beta
It does not happen often to encounter the Butcher, as he only appears randomly as a rare encounter. Many players were astonished and delighted to see an old and feared face again.
Others have raised concerns. In the Diablo 4 beta, the Butcher was likely the deadliest boss of all. He has already permanently killed at least one hardcore character there, as he can kill heroes at level 25 with just a few attacks.
Even the famous Twitch nerd Asmongold encountered the Butcher and was ruthlessly outmatched:

Players now fear that the Butcher may lead to frustration later in the game. If he appears randomly in the highest level dungeons and slaughters painstakingly leveled hardcore heroes, that just isn’t fun. Whether this will actually be the case will only be seen at release.
Why is the Butcher in Diablo 4? The Butcher is not a unique demon, but a type of demon. There are many Butcher-demons in the lore of Diablo, so it doesn’t always have to be the same Butcher you fight against.
The boss made appearances after Diablo 1 in Diablo 3 and even in Diablo Immortal as well as the MOBA Heroes of the Storm. If you want to meet the Butcher yourself, you can check out the open beta of Diablo 4 before release. It starts on March 24:
The phrase ‘in Minecraft‘ has been used to soften many problematic statements. A case from the USA clearly shows that this softening does not help at all.
Any statement, no matter how grim, can be softened by simply adding ‘in Minecraft’. This is what a 38-year-old man from New Jersey presumably thought, who expressed quite radical views in a forum and called for murder.
However, the ‘in Minecraft’ phrase did not protect him from being subsequently arrested by the police.
What is behind this? The threat was directed at County Sheriff Mike Chitwood. He has come into focus over the past few weeks from people in the ‘Far Right’ movement after he advocated for Jewish people who were targeted by anti-Semitic propaganda and were in the crosshairs of right-wing extremists.

In one of the 4chan forums, the now-arrested person previously wrote:
Shoot Chitwood in the head, and he is no longer a problem. You will then have to find a new man who is the problem. But shooting Chitwood in the head fixes the problem immediately and permanently. Just shoot Chitwood in the head and murder him.
In Minecraft.
Chitwood, who had received several death threats in recent weeks, apparently welcomed the arrest and mentioned on Twitter:
‘What a shame. A 4chan troll had to leave his room.’

Chitwood had previously commented on the threats, saying, ‘You are in the wrong district. I stand with my Jewish friends, and I am honored to be on your target list. It is an honor for me to be targeted by scumbags like you.’
The 4chan forum is often criticized. Not only are racist and anti-Semitic views frequently spread and “discussed” here, but several shooting sprees have already been announced on the platform.
‘In Minecraft’ as a magical formula that frees one from any consequence – No
What does ‘in Minecraft’ actually mean? Although adding the phrase ‘in Minecraft’ has become a meme in recent years, it also originated in the 4chan forums. It is generally added to statements and views that are considered controversial or ‘difficult’. The phrase ‘in Minecraft’ is intended to take some edge off such statements.
It is an attempt to playfully soften statements while simultaneously protecting oneself by implying ‘I didn’t mean that seriously’ – without retaining the controversial view or often inhumane plans for oneself.
In a more casual meme environment, ‘in Minecraft’ is also often added as a joke to calm the fictional FBI agent who is reading all statements in the chat.
Basically, it seems that many have the thought that a statement cannot be prosecutable if framed in the context of a video game. That this is not the case is shown quite clearly by this example.

When does the Community Day take place? The Community Day with Togetic will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Can Togetic be Shiny? Yes, you can encounter Togetic in the wild as Shiny. Moreover, you can hatch more Togepi from 2 km eggs during the event, which will have an increased Shiny rate.
What bonuses does the Community Day bring? During the event, the following bonuses will be active:
Double candies when catching

In the next major patch of World of Warcraft, you shouldn’t be angry at a boss – because it will have devastating consequences.
In World of Warcraft, there are numerous hidden interactions that most players simply walk past without really engaging with them or even knowing that they exist.
This is also the case in Patch 10.1 Embers of Neltharion. Those who behave unfairly towards one of the main villains will quickly find themselves grilled and can then reconsider their actions.
What was found? In the story of Patch 10.1, there is a small encounter with Fyrakk. The incarnation of fire is actually lying quite “comfortably” while the heroes have to complete a few tasks.
Fyrakk doesn’t appreciate being insulted.
The colleagues from wowhead have pointed out that you might not want to show Fyrakk directly what you think of him. Because those who use the emote /rude on the dragon will quickly be caught in a flame wave. This leaves the “Roasted” debuff, which causes extremely high damage and reduces the healing received to 0.
The result is a dead hero who can then reconsider their actions upon respawn.
Has there been something like this before? Yes. In the past, Blizzard has implemented certain reactions in NPCs and bosses when targeted with specific emotes.
The most famous interaction here is with Queen Azshara in the Eternal Palace. When you apply the /rude emote to her, she also reacts devastatingly and zaps players with a lightning strike that means instant death.
But other NPCs also react to emotes. For instance, Blood Elf paladins can /gawk at the city guards in Silvermoon and then witness how the city guard kneels – because Blood Elf paladins are story-wise blood knights and therefore rank higher than the guards.
So be careful in the future when you want to express your dissatisfaction towards a boss – the punishment for it might come immediately …

Voltolos in its Incarnation form “normal” and as Shiny
How many trainers are needed? If you have the top counter Pokémon and have reached a relatively high level (40+) in Pokémon GO, you can defeat Voltolos in its Incarnation form in pairs. With lower levels, but strong counters, you should rely on more trainers.

Last week, the Guardian Rank system from Destiny 2 was a big topic in the community. For many, it’s just another meaningless number above their heads, which additionally creates a class system that fundamentally has no validity. However, the system has a good soul – you just don’t see it.
Why is the Guardian Rank system so controversial? After the first login in Destiny 2 Lightfall, the number 6 for the status “Veteran” was prominently displayed above the heads of many Guardians. This is the new Guardian Rank for seasoned players. New players, on the other hand, start at Guardian Rank 1, clearly indicating that they are just beginning their Destiny experience.
The fact that you get more loadout slots for higher ranks has interested very few players. Because the system already feels like one of the most hated and controversial features of the new DLC Lightfall.
A closer look at the Guardian Rank system:
With Lightfall, Bungie introduced a new system that allows players to show how experienced they are in the loot shooter. The Guardian Ranks, as the system is called, offer a lot of new tasks for them to complete.
Unlike other ranks, such as those from the Vanguard, the Crucible, or the Infamy rank in Gambit, players don’t automatically level up.
There are a total of 11 ranks that you can climb on the way to being a “Model Guardian”. Each rank contains several goals in the form of challenges, and all must be completed before you can rank up. Ranks 1-6 are relatively easy to achieve as they are primarily meant to offer new players a kind of tutorial on how Destiny works. Only starting from Rank 8 does it get progressively harder.
However, if you want the ultimate prestige of being considered a “Model Guardian” in Destiny 2, you have to master some tough challenges in the game and also own all DLCs.

Destiny 2: Lightfall – Trailer Game Awards
What readers are saying at MeinMMO: We have already gathered opinions from the German Destiny community on this.
Our reader KingGamer86 writes: “There are enough players who know their stuff but don’t have the opportunity to play everything or simply do not want to. The system rather excludes Guardians than helps them.”
The player Fly finds: “What I find terrible about the system is that I already see the first [players] looking for people for activity XY that are at least Rank 7 [or higher].”
WooDaHoo commented: “The rating system is absurd in its current form and offers no realistic feedback. The fact that it allows for the system to be exploited and to die your way up in the fireteam speaks for itself.”
And Dorian says: “For me, there’s no added value when I hold the highest rank somewhere, which in this case also states that I can’t think of a better use of my time than grinding to present said titles, what do they bring me?”
A class society that hardly anyone wants
“We don’t talk to 1s”: The Guardian Rank system is currently inevitably forming a class society in Destiny 2. In the past, players looked for experienced Guardians in LFG. Today, the 11s no longer talk to the 3s, because they are unlikely to know their stuff, based on the number above their heads. You are subtly categorized based on the number and then put into boxes.
However, even as an 11, one is controversial, as some players in Destiny 2 have already cheated their way up to higher ranks. Here, you trust no one because it might be that they have blown themselves up for hours to achieve Rank 10 or 11.
Lastly, the number 1-11 and the name “Guardian Rank System” have sparked a need for validation that is more show-off than a meaningful system.
Our readers have accurately recognized the problems of the system. In my opinion, however, one important thing is often overlooked, which is worth mentioning. The system is fundamentally not a bad idea, as it has a good soul with a lot of potential despite all criticism.
The Guardian Rank System is actually a Guardian Journey
The name “Guardian Journey” would have suited the system better
For me, it is primarily the categorizing number above the Guardians’ heads that has almost completely destroyed the reputation of this rank system within the first three weeks. Thinking in classes and experience levels has never worked anywhere, and definitely not in Destiny 2.
Accolades should be decoupled from ranks: I can still talk about the gratitude system linked to the Guardian Rank system. The commendation cards that can be distributed at the end of an activity are not a bad thing.
However, I believe that a thank you or a compliment should in no way be tied to challenges or Guardian Ranks. It should simply be an available option to say thank you to someone who has saved me from the invader in Gambit or helped me with fantastic calls through a raid.
Bungie should really improve this and decouple the two systems. Also, because I hardly have time to provide feedback. If one doesn’t remember the player’s name or appearance and immediately clicks a thank you, they might already be gone forever.
Accolades and the Guardian Rank System should be decoupled
As a result, I am forced to once again choose the player with the flashiest outfit in the activity because accolades are tied to points, bounties, and triumphs. It’s like wildly shaking hands in a mostly gray mass of players, and if one has a red jacket, they just win the first prize.
This feels neither valuable for me nor does it do justice to any genuine praise towards other players.
However, the Guardian Rank system has a good soul that hardly anyone sees because a show-off number in Destiny 2 currently obscures its true value.

MaMU: “NO – I would not cheat. Then it would be like in every other game where you can enter cheats directly (e.g., via console commands, etc.) – within a short time you would have everything there is to get and the game would at that point no longer be worth playing. If I registered all Pokémon within a few days, why should I continue playing?”
Xpiya: “I mean, if you take away the going out aspect of Pokémon GO, it’s an incredibly bad game. It’s only the fact that you play it along the way, here and there on your smartphone that makes it interesting. Who wants to play a game like PoGO really actively and regularly from the couch? Even a visit to the dentist is more fun than that.”
Trainer Suggests Idea That Could Make Spoofing Uninteresting
To minimize the number of players who cheat in Pokémon GO, Niantic could also establish one or the other feature that makes spoofing less interesting. One possibility from the perspective of Pokehunter0815 is the allowance of trading over distances. He writes:
Niantic has begged with the decision to implement regional Pokémon and events for spoofing to happen. [… ] For example, if you could at least trade with Best Friends worldwide, what reason would there be for people who only want to fill their Pokédex to still spoof? Additionally, there should also be a simple chat function (which goes through Campfire, but only if everyone uses Campfire, and that feature isn’t really good) directly in the game. Battling worldwide works too, right? Why not the same logic for trading, including the pop-up window ‘Trainer xxx wants to trade with you…’, I would find that cool. Plus, a wish list of which Pokémon you would like to have and which ones you would like to give away would be perfect.
Whether Niantic will eventually introduce this feature remains to be seen for the moment.
What is your opinion on spoofing? Are you surprised that so many trainers would be willing to cheat in the game if they could be sure not to be caught? And would you perhaps do the same? Or are you strictly against cheaters? Feel free to let us know here on MeinMMO in the comments and exchange ideas with other trainers about it.

Zeet P.: “No, I did it once on the PlayStation and it ruined all the fun of the game for me.”
Dine S.: “No, simple reason: you want to achieve the challenges that may not be immediately possible by yourself.”
In Pokémon GO, “spoofing” is a major topic in the community. For this reason, we wanted to know from you whether you would cheat if you weren’t caught. The surprising result of this inquiry is summarized here for you on MeinMMO.
What was the survey about? Although the developers of Pokémon GO promote honest gameplay, there are always trainers who want to gain an advantage in the game through so-called spoofing. They change their GPS location and cheat to move to a different place.
This cheating is not endorsed by Niantic and is punished at irregular intervals through various types of bans. However, we wanted to know how you feel about spoofing and whether you would do it if you couldn’t be caught. Below you can see the result.
The result of our survey
Here is what you decided: In our community survey from March 15, 2023, we wanted to know if you would cheat in Pokémon GO if you could be sure not to be caught. Every reader could vote once in the survey. So far, 3,233 readers have participated in our survey – with a surprising result (as of March 18, 2023, at 21:00). Here is how you voted:
1,107 votes (34.2%) for “No, cheating is out of the question for me”
1,005 votes (31.1%) for “Yes, then I would do it regularly”
818 votes (25.3%) for “Yes, I would try it once”
303 votes (9.4%) for “I am already spoofing”
Thus, about 66% of the participants (a total of 2,126 votes), which is the majority of trainers, would be willing to cheat in Pokémon GO or at least try it once. 303 of them (about 9%) are even currently cheating.
Only 1,107 readers (approximately 34%) stated that cheating would not be an option for them, not even if they couldn’t be caught. This means that just over a third of participants would continue to play honestly.
Why is the result surprising? Normally, trainers who spoof in Pokémon GO are often criticized in the community. Particularly cheaters who disadvantage other players, for example by repeatedly throwing them out of gyms, are a thorn in their side.
It is all the more surprising that a large majority of you would be willing to cheat yourselves. However, there are good reasons for this, as some participants revealed in the comments.
Some trainers who indicated in the survey that they would be willing to spoof have explained their decision in the comments under our post on MeinMMO as well as in our Facebook group.
It becomes clear that they would mainly use this option for the content that Niantic currently makes difficult for them, such as trading with friends in other parts of the world. But also to complete their Pokédex or to collect Vivillon, some would be willing to travel digitally to other regions.
Regional events also play a role in the decision. For example, you can read the following comments (via MeinMMO & Facebook):
GedoensPuni: “Yes, I would do it. For regional and shiny [Pokémon] and for the last gifts for Vivillon.”
Luke: “If it were legal, I would try it. As long as Pokémon GO doesn’t change that there’s no possibility to play in a small village and no way to create a PokéStop. Niantic should give all players the same chance and not make it so you have to drive several kilometers just to be able to spin at least a few [PokéStops]. Niantic practically forces honest players to find ways to play normally.”
Sly M.: “Yes and no… I think if you live in a village it’s harder, and I could imagine it. In the city, if you are healthy and have the opportunity to go out, probably not.”
Rocco G.: “I only made a small spoofer because I was missing Ocean Purmel. I couldn’t wait anymore and the unresolved task annoyed me. If I spoofed, then just to move away from home because there are people who can’t move properly, who are sick, live in a village with zero stops or gyms, and have no way to quickly go somewhere. So spoofing is only to move your character and catch monsters, but there shouldn’t be any teleporting possible. Such a feature could also be unlocked for a few hours a day, practically for village players and those with limited mobility.”
Mario W.: “Maybe, but only for regional Pokémon and regional events.”
Are you still missing Vivillon? We show you from which regions you need friends:
Reasons Trainers Would Not Cheat
Spoofing ruins the fun of the game: However, numerous contributions can also be found in the comments where trainers explain that they would never cheat. And this also has clear reasons from their perspective (via MeinMMO & Facebook):

While the streaming platform Twitch started with a pure gaming focus, YouTube was launched in 2005 as a general video portal. Nevertheless, the platform is also attractive for content creators in the gaming sector. We from MeinMMO present to you the current top 5 of the largest German gaming YouTubers.
How is this list created? For the creation of this list, three criteria were considered:
The channels have “gaming” as the main theme (determined via Social Blade)
The videos are in German
The order is determined by the number of subscribers
What kind of YouTuber is iCrimax? iCrimax runs a total of four YouTube channels, of which his gaming channel is by far the largest. He uses the others for reactions, clips from his streams, and shorts.
On his main channel, he mainly focuses on Minecraft and casual games like Stumble Guys and Roblox games. Role-playing in GTA 5 has not been seen on the channel of the 25-year-old for a while. Instead, he released a music video for GTA 6 six months ago.
Previously, iCrimax liked to involve his fans in his private life. However, this changed when he became a victim of a armed robbery.

The first major beta test of Diablo 4 is slowly coming to an end. On the penultimate day of the closed beta, many players already have an opinion about the first hours in the game. The overwhelming majority looks positively towards Diablo 4. However, there are some criticisms.
This is the beta:
The early access beta of Diablo 4 runs from March 17 to 20 for pre-orderers and anyone who could snag a key.
From the 5 classes of Diablo 4, only the Huntress, Sorceress, and Barbarian are playable. The experience is limited to level 25 and the first act of the game.
What is well received: On Reddit and other social media, players are now discussing how they found the beta. Great praise is especially given to the atmosphere and gameplay. The dark approach is well appreciated. There were big doubts shortly before the beta.
Diablo 4 is seen as a successful successor to the series, strongly reminiscent of favorites Diablo 2 and the remake Resurrected. Some fans are even convinced: Even in beta, Diablo 4 is better than Diablo 3.
A particularly good feature is seen as being able to pet dogs in Diablo 4 – even if fans suggest you probably shouldn’t do that. But that alone makes the game 110% better, some users joke.
Even the story of Diablo 4 is already a great feature, which has never been as good in the series. You can see gameplay from the beta here:

Diablo 4 features huge bosses like an MMO – And they drop really good loot
Sterile UI and repetitive dungeons
What bothers the players: There is still criticism of Diablo 4. Many players give suggestions for improvements such as minor tweaks to the UI or an extra tab for gems in the inventory. Also, the lack of a map overlay is considered bad.
Two points of criticism often arise and receive a lot of support from other commenters.
The first point is the UI itself and the font used for numbers and texts. Everything feels too sterile and clean, which doesn’t fit the dark mood at all. Some even feel reminded of mobile games. “It feels like I’m reading a spreadsheet,” criticizes a player in a thread with 1,700 upvotes on Reddit.
The second point is the dungeons. Diablo 4 offers well over 100 different dungeons where you can find enemies, bosses, and even guaranteed legendary aspects. You enter dungeons alone or with a group, but never with random strangers like in the open world.
The criticism here is that the dungeons are too repetitive. Although the layout is slightly different each time, fundamentally you always do the same: collect 2-3 items from different wings, unlock the boss room with them, kill the final boss.
Over time, it becomes dull if there is no variety. The dungeons available in Act 1 are already said to be not fun, according to a highly discussed thread.
There is also skepticism about the shop not being in the beta yet. After the debacle of Diablo Immortal, many fans are now suspicious and would like to know in advance what can be bought in the shop.
In Diablo 4 you can play with players from all over the world – All information about multiplayer
What will improve? Some players reassure that since they are only level 25 in the beta, things like enemy density and difficulty will only come later. Currently, only 2 of the difficulty levels can even be adjusted.
Blizzard has set up a forum for feedback on the beta where criticism is collected. How much of this will be implemented remains to be seen. The release is still a few weeks away; Diablo 4 is set to be released on June 6, 2023.
Perhaps some changes will already be visible in the open beta on March 24. We will keep you updated as soon as more is known. The important thing is that Diablo 4 really turns out well. Not just for Blizzard, but for all games in the genre:
League of Legends has tried many different game modes over the years since its release. In the very beginning, there was the ‘Blind Pick’, even before the ranked games existed. However, this mode is apparently going to disappear for good and will be replaced by a new, better variant.
What is ‘Blind Pick’? It is a normal match in League of Legends, but without a draft like in ranked plays.
This mode is particularly exciting for beginners, allowing them to avoid jumping straight into the harsh training of ranked plays. Additionally, a match typically starts faster because the selection of champions happens simultaneously and without bans.
However, this historically significant game mode is now set to disappear from LoL, but not without a replacement. In fact, work is being done on a mode that aims to better implement the advantages of ‘Blind Pick’.

Quick Play starts even faster into the match
This is Quick Play: In a dev video on Twitter, officials from LoL presented some new features. Among them is the overhaul of the champion Skarner as well as the new mode ‘Quick Play’, which is set to replace Blind Pick:

At minute 03:40, the game director Pu Liu talks about the new mode. The goal is to enhance the overall player experience.
Unlike Blind Pick, in Quick Play you choose your preferred roles and preferred champions. You can select multiple roles and champions.
When the game starts, you will briefly see which role and champion you have been assigned. After that, it goes directly into gameplay. So you completely save the time for champion selection.
Why is Blind Pick being removed? It is a test to see if a new game mode for normal matches can attract more players to non-ranked matches.
Pu Liu states in the video above that this mode is losing more and more players and has even become the mode with the fewest players.
In champion selection, you lose the ability to react to your team’s picks and choose appropriate champions. However, since Blind Pick has so few players, they want to try something new.
Here you can expect further experiments in the future to find an optimal mode that is available for normals in addition to ranked play.
Leave your opinions on Quick Play here. How would you redesign Blind Pick to make the mode successful again? Write a comment on the topic.

There is a dispute in the German Twitch scene between the casino streamer Kevin “Orangemorange” Bongert and the opinion blogger Kilian “Tanzverbot” Heinrich. At gamescom, the conflict escalated into a brawl, and in March 2023, Orangemorange followed up: He allegedly “accidentally” revealed Tanzverbot’s address publicly on Twitch. Tanzverbot asks when it will finally end.
What kind of conflict is this?
Orangemorange built a career as a GTA 5 streamer on Twitch in 2019 and 2020, but has mainly shown “casino content” since 2022. He apparently has a lucrative deal with the online casino “Stake.” A model for such deals is the US streamer Trainwreck, who makes a lot of money with such a deal.
Tanzverbot is one of the biggest critics of casino streams in Germany. Like many other Twitch streamers, he accuses casino streamers of immoral behavior. They would lead their viewers into gambling addiction and financial ruin while benefiting financially from it. The accusation is: Those who stream casinos sell their souls and their fans.
Sido leaks new song from Twitch streamer Tanzverbot – raps for the first time in a real language
Orangemorange “accidentally” reveals address of Tanzverbot
This is what Orangemorange did now: In a stream, Orangemorange told his viewers that he has seen an affordable apartment in Berlin, mentioned the address, and asked his viewers if anyone could tell him how the area is. The apartment is a “bargain.”
In the chat, people immediately said: Isn’t that the address of Tanzverbot? How could he make it public?
However, Orangemorange expressed surprise. It was simply an address he was considering moving to:
Tanzverbot lives there? Huh? He lives in Berlin. What are you talking about? No, nonsense. Tanzverbot lives somewhere in Berlin, but I picked this one because the area is said to be very nice. So here with these nice… trees and so on. Can someone recommend this to me?
But this passage is widely seen as an attempt to make Tanzverbot’s address “public and leak it.”

That Orangemorange is really looking for an apartment in Berlin seems unlikely:
On one hand, it would be very strange to leak the address yourself in advance.
On the other hand, casino streamers list “Malta” as their residence to avoid problems with the authorities. It’s already a running joke online that Orangemorange claims “Malta” as his residence, but everything indicates he lives in Madeira (via Twitter).
That he is publicly looking for an apartment right where his intimate enemy lives, with whom he has been feuding for months—seems unlikely.
The justification that “he has heard Berlin is nice” and “the apartment has nice trees and such” sounds flimsy.
Orangemorange denies the accusation – Besides, it was “anyway on Kick”
What does Orangemorange say? He is—like always—completely innocent. However, he can’t settle on a defense strategy.
While he denies all accusations on one hand, on the other hand, he implies that Tanzverbot somehow deserves to have his address leaked. After all, he still found it funny when it was about “ApoRed.” Now that it concerns him, it is no longer funny.
Moreover, Orangemorange states that he didn’t ask about the apartment on Twitch, but on Kick. If someone has a problem with that, they should address it to Kick, not Twitch.

How is this seen? Some people on Twitter are now calling on Twitch to take action and ban Orangemorange.
Indeed, it seems that Orangemorange is deliberately heading for a Twitch ban with his behavior in recent weeks.
He seems to be primarily using the Twitch platform at the moment (via Twitter) to direct viewers to his stream on “Kick,” where he can promote the casino content for his partner Stake. This is prohibited for him on Twitch.
Since Twitch banned the online casino Stake, Orangemorange is even more noticeable for provocations than before:
Diablo 4 has a feature that some fans already consider the best in the game: You can pet dogs. However, a few players in the beta have found that it’s better to leave the animals alone. At least, if you care about them.
How can you pet dogs? In some cities in Diablo 4, dogs and cats roam around. You can pet them by approaching and simply greeting them with the “Hello” emote. How emotes work, is taught to you in the quest “Lifting the Mood”. Here is the quick guide:
Approach the animal
Open the action wheel (E on PC, Up on the D-pad on PlayStation and Xbox)
Select the top option “Hello” in the middle menu
Your character then kneels in front of the dog or cat and pets the animal. Whether there will be pets later that accompany you and that you can pet is still unknown. At least you can carry a cute wolf puppy with you when you play the beta.
However, some players have found on Reddit that it is not necessarily good to pet dogs. Because the animals then become a bit too clingy.
You can find all information about the beta of Diablo 4 in our guide here. We have compiled the most important details in the video for you:

Everything you need to know about the Open Beta in Diablo 4
“You have to decide not to pet the dog. That is the real hell”
Why you should not pet dogs: The user SodiumArousal explains on Reddit that dogs will follow you for a certain time after you pet them. They then follow you around in the cities – and also outside.
If they follow you out of the city, it can become dangerous. They can be attacked by many enemies and usually die right after one hit. So you are directly responsible for the death of the animal if you pet it and then continue with the quests.
Players are partly joking about this, but more in fun. Being able to pet dogs, but not being allowed to, is the real hell. And one has failed if they take responsibility and then the dog dies.
Petting cats, by the way, should be quite safe. The rather stubborn animals just roll over on their backs and let you scratch their bellies, but then go on their way again.
If you want to have your own animal companion, you can earn a wolf puppy as a transmog in the closed beta and in the open beta. You just need to reach level 20. This is easier with our guide:
In Destiny 2, the mood between developer Bungie and parts of the community seems to be getting worse. Following the controversial launch of the expansion “Lightfall”, Bungie has now closed comments under several YouTube videos. The community is claiming that Bungie is “deaf to criticism” – but Bungie says that is not the case.
Which video had the comments disabled?
The first video where comments were closed is titled “Destiny 2: Lightfall – Art – Developer Insights”. It is a video that deals with a niche topic. The video comes from the art team, was released on March 14, and has received about 82,000 views (via youtube).
It is a “Talking Head” video: The developers comment on their work on the design of Destiny 2: Lightfall. The developers provide insight into their work – Bungie is known for such videos.
But under the seemingly harmless video, comments are disabled. “Art” is actually uncontroversial in Destiny 2. Topics like class balance, content supply, or the payment model are controversial, but not design.
Comments were also disabled for the video “Lightfall – Root of Nightmares – Developer Insights” released on March 16.

New gameplay of Destiny 2: Lightfall takes you to spectacular heights – “This moment was made for Guardians”
This is what the community says: On reddit the closure of comments is viewed critically. In a thread, it is said that the closure of comments is proof that Bungie does not want to hear the criticism of the community.
Bungie says: They love feedback – Have 0 tolerance for personal attacks
This is what Bungie says: The franchise director, Josh Deane, responded on Twitter to the closure of comments. A user said it was embarrassing for the community to wish for more communication, and then Bungie explains itself thoroughly, and the player base reacts so poorly.
Deane said:
They will never turn off comments due to criticism. Not even for “shitty” comments. Bungie loves feedback, whether positive or negative.
However, they will always terminate any interaction if someone from the team is personally attacked for their work or for who they are. Bungie has no tolerance for that.

In the community, however, most are decent and moderate people, but there are a handful who completely lose their temper and threaten Bungie employees or insult them in the worst ways. These people can then, when they meet “Zero Tolerance”, stifle discussions by becoming so abusive that developers withdraw from the discussion.
This leads to communication between Bungie and the community becoming increasingly difficult.
For Bungie, the question is when exactly to end the interaction. If they truly have “Zero Tolerance” and cut off communication in the event of boundary violations, individual bad apples in the communication basket can cause lasting damage.
The mood in Destiny 2 seems to be quite poor at the moment.
Even in other games, the situation is very difficult:
World of Warcraft has changed significantly. We list the biggest changes since the launch here – and illustrate how much the MMORPG has evolved.
Slowly but surely, World of Warcraft is approaching its 20th anniversary. However, the game from 2004 has little in common with the modern MMORPG and has undergone some drastic changes. We take a look at the biggest changes that have occurred in the history of Azeroth.
1. Paladins for the Horde, Shamans for the Alliance
In the early years, it was the respective brand identity of the Horde and the Alliance. While the Alliance had righteous Paladins who healed their teammates and distributed powerful blessings, the Horde relied on the support of Shamans and their diverse totems, and of course, the Battle Rage.
Blizzard gifted Paladins to the Horde – as part of the Blood Elves.
With “The Burning Crusade,” this separation was removed, as Draenei from the Alliance became Shamans and Blood Elves from the Horde became Paladins. However, it is still remembered by many fans that the two classes “were actually” only supposed to belong to one of the factions – and this, despite the fact that this separation only belonged to a small fraction of the lifespan of World of Warcraft.
2. Flying Mounts – An Eternal Controversy
Also in The Burning Crusade, World of Warcraft introduced flying mounts. This faster, freer method of traveling was an amazing experience at first, but soon sparked recurring discussions.
Once the heroes got used to flying, it became very difficult to bind them back to the ground. With every new expansion, the discussion reignited, why flying was not available from the start.
Flying mounts are always a controversial topic.
Blizzard repeatedly argued that they designed the game world for players to experience it on foot the first time – while fans countered that they want to decide how they experience the game.
In the meantime, Blizzard has found a compromise with dragon flying and simply created a world designed “with flying mounts.”
3. Raids with Different Difficulties
Since Vanilla, there has been this myth that raids in World of Warcraft are only for the game’s “elite.” At least in part, that’s true, because those who wished to visit raids had to join a large group and best allocate several evenings each week – it was a social commitment.
However, even a complete group was no guarantee that a raid could be fully completed, after all, this was where the toughest battles that World of Warcraft had to offer could be found.
Blizzard also realized that it might not be the best thing if only a small fraction of players experienced this content, which is so important for the story.
Raids were only for the elite back then – now there are modes for most player types.
Some referred to this as “casualization,” and different difficulty levels were introduced. Now there is even a “foolproof” version, the LFR. There, bosses go down easier, and it is even possible to complete raids with a random group.
In fact, this new system allowed Blizzard to adjust the difficulty both downward and upward. While the LFR is indeed extremely easy, the “Mythic” difficulty is harder than anything that has existed in World of Warcraft before.
4. Cataclysm: The Largest Content Removal in WoW History
The Cataclysm was Blizzard’s attempt to bring the “old” world up to modern standards. Deathwing ravaged the entire world, and most old areas were equipped with new quests and stories. The storyline progressed, and in many places, heroes could experience the consequences of their actions from many years ago and how areas had changed.
However, the presence of new things everywhere also meant something else: The old had to make way.
This effectively buried Blizzard’s “Vanilla” game world along with many of the quests that had been loved and cherished over the years. Not only that, many of the old quest rewards were no longer obtainable afterward.

Objectively speaking, while the quest flow in the Cataclysm areas is now much more cohesive and logical, many beloved quest lines have been lost and can no longer be experienced.
This decision likely fueled the community’s desire for a “classic” WoW even more.
Since then, Blizzard has been taking a different approach and almost always incorporates a time travel option in the areas, mostly in the form of a bronze dragon, allowing players to visit an old version of the area, even if it has changed due to newer events.
5. Cross-Realm Action – Together Across the Globe
By now, it is the standard, and everyone has gotten used to it. However, for a long time, it was different, and it was only possible to play with players who were based on the same realm. If one was on the realm “Die Aldor,” one could only play with other players from “Die Aldor.”
This was changed in several steps. First, Blizzard merged the realms into “clusters.” Several realms were connected and could share a game world. This revived “dead” realms and ensured that there were always enough players to meet other friends (or enemies).
In the second step, this barrier was completely torn down. Thanks to Battle.net friendships or the group finder, it is possible to hop onto all other realms of the same region and play with friends there.
In the past, this was a major limiting factor. When one found out from a friend or a colleague that they also played WoW, the initial excitement soon turned into disappointment, as one realized that they would never play together unless one of them left their old realm behind.
Good thing that’s no longer the case.
6. Abolition of PvP Realms
The first decision in the life of any WoW character is the choice of the right realm. For a long time, this not only affected the players one could encounter but also the game mode. Because if one chose a PvP realm, they had to live with the constant thrill of other faction members showing up and easily extinguishing their character’s life lights while questing.
What could be fun at first could turn into a torture if there was no balance on the realm. Often one faction dominates, and realms with a distribution of 90% Horde and 10% Alliance are not uncommon.
This decision could not be reversed without starting the character anew on another realm.
PvP can bring frustration when there’s a strong imbalance.
That is now a thing of the past. There are only PvE and RP realms left. On every realm, it is possible to switch to the war mode at specific locations (capitals) where PvP is permanently active, and there are even special PvP activities. If one has had enough of that, they can switch back to the non-war mode in any inn in the world and quest peacefully side by side.
One of the most recent changes and yet one with drastic effects. Since the end of Shadowlands, it has been possible for the Alliance and Horde to join together in groups and conquer instanced content. Whether dungeons or raids, these activities can be completed in mixed groups both in endgame and during leveling.
While a large part of the player base was immediately thrilled by this change, there was also skepticism at the introduction. The identity of the Horde and Alliance would be diluted, and the game should start to be called “World of Peacecraft.” These complaints have since quieted down, and Blizzard is even going further:
In Patch 10.1 Glut von Neltharion, it will even be possible for the Horde and Alliance to play in the same guilds and thereby share a pool of resources or write to each other in the guild chat.

In Pokémon GO, you can get the butterfly Vivillon, but you have to use the postcard feature for that. However, some trainers apparently don’t like what the new monster has made of the feature.
This is how Vivillon works:Vivillon is a special monster in Pokémon GO that you can’t just get. You first have to secure its pre-evolution Purmel – and that’s done through the “postcard feature”.
For this, you have to pin postcards that you receive in Pokémon GO through gifts. You get those from other trainers with whom you’ve made friends in the game. You can pin postcards from other trainers, but also your own.
The twist: Depending on which region the postcard comes from, the Vivillon will look different in the end. There are numerous different patterns from different regions that you can find here in the Vivillon map for Pokémon GO.
Some trainers have set themselves the goal of getting all Vivillon forms. Many are hunting for postcards from different regions and are specifically looking for friend codes from there to pin suitable postcards.
But for some trainers, this seems to be a misuse of the original feature.
Trainers liked unique postcards in Pokémon GO: “It’s just spam now”
Here’s the problem: Even before the Vivillon aspect, you could pin postcards in the game. While it didn’t provide any bonuses, it could create a nice collection of various places. For some trainers, that was apparently completely sufficient.
This issue is currently being brought up by a post from Reddit user “underwater_rivers”. In the Pokémon GO subreddit, the user describes: “Vivillon has ruined my favorite aspect of the game and that makes me sad.”

“I know, of course, that PoGo is about discovering and collecting Pokémon. But my favorite aspect of the game has always been receiving gifts from faraway places and saving the coolest ones in my postcard book,” describes “underwater_rivers”.
This would also have been a great motivation to go out and look for cool stops to send them. The best part was when others pinned a card: “I was happy when I received the message that someone had saved my postcard because they liked it.”
This aspect is now gone. While it’s nice to be rewarded with countless Purmel, the user thinks, but: “I really miss the joy I felt when someone saved my postcard because now I never know if they did so because they liked the place I wanted to show them or because they want a Vivillon point,” says “underwater_rivers”: “It’s just all spam now.”
How are other trainers reacting? Currently, the post has 490 upvotes, with 87% responding positively to it. Some players also share in the comments that they had or still have a love for the postcard feature:
“If this makes you feel better, I can tell you that there are still people who cherish the postcards out of love and excitement. One example is me,” says a user, who also qualifies: “However, I also pin some and throw them away to get Purmel, but I digress” (via reddit).
“Yes, I also keep some really cool gifts. I just cleaned out my recently saved postcards, and I have 101 cool cards left that I have kept!” (via reddit)
“I feel the same way. I enjoyed it when someone whose postcards I really liked saved one of mine and was a bit proud of it,” says a user (via reddit): “And I always tried to get cool new cards for my long-time friends so they wouldn’t get the same thing every day. Now this all seems pretty pointless to me.”
Some users describe in the thread that they used to secure cool postcards from time to time, but now they would save everything and it doesn’t feel special anymore.
However, others describe that the postcard topic was of no interest to them at all before Vivillon and that they only became aware of it through the new feature. Some, on the other hand, cannot understand the user’s frustration.
What do you think? How do you feel about postcards in Pokémon GO? Was it a cool feature for you even before Vivillon, or are you only using it since the butterfly is in Pokémon GO? Do the cards have meaning for you? Let us know in the comments!
The action RPG Elden Ring is known for its challenging difficulty level. In particular, the boss fight against Malenia, Blade of Miquella, posed a challenge for players. A persistent fan made it his mission to defeat Malenia and thus became a community legend. Now he faces his craziest challenge yet.
What kind of player is he? In April 2022, a mysterious player took the Elden Ring community by storm. Half-naked and with a jug on his head, he assisted others in their fight against Malenia. His name “Let Me Solo Her” was fitting: players could sit back while he took down the feared boss alone.
Overall, Let Me Solo Her is said to have defeated Malenia several thousand times. A feat for which he was rewarded by the publisher Bandai Namco with a real sword (via Twitter).

A half-naked player in Elden Ring became a community legend – This is his story
Elden Ring, but every opponent is Malenia
What challenge is he facing now? On his YouTube channel, Let Me Solo Her is currently facing a particularly nasty challenge: he wants to complete Elden Ring, but every single opponent is Malenia.
The adventurous endeavor is being streamed live by Let Me Solo Her on his YouTube channel. Mods that replace enemies are not necessarily new and spread out in 2022. Given the personal vendetta that Let Me Solo Her has against Malenia, there is probably no more fitting player for this version of Elden Ring.
Although the lightly dressed hero is a true expert at defeating Miquella’s Blade, he tried to avoid confrontations at the start of his project.
In the first stream of the series, the legendary player managed to reach Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon – who, of course, was also Malenia. We have embedded the video here:

Viewers are already planning the next diabolical challenge. Perhaps NPCs and merchants could also appear as Malenia and one would have to fight them to unlock their quests or shops. Or how about a “Malenia Only” run, where one must also not be hit a single time (via YouTube)?
Elden Ring has captivated players since its release in 2022, especially those who enjoy a hardcore challenge. Quickly, fans challenged themselves with increasingly absurd restrictions. The action RPG has since been completed in just about every conceivable way – creativity knows no bounds:
Diablo 4 is one of the most anticipated games of 2023. Many fans are looking forward to playing the hack & slash soon, but do you actually know how the genre began? We take you back to a time full of pixels and a lot of imagination that a player had to bring.
What was the first hack & slash? The first known hack & slash, which also defined the genre, was the fantasy game “Ultima” from 1981. It is a game for the platforms Apple II, Atari 8 Bit Systems, Commodore 64, DOS, FM Towns, and MSX. The title was the first professionally developed game by game designer Richard Garriott, who was also the lead producer of Tabula Rasa.
The graphics are very ancient compared to today’s games, yet Ultima managed to captivate many players with its gameplay and setting. We now take you into the world of Sosaria and show you what Ultima had to offer.
Ancient graphics, new genre, and a quirky world
What is Ultima about? Ultima takes place in a medieval fantasy setting. Richard Garriott was inspired by well-known fantasy universes such as Dungeons & Dragons and The Lord of the Rings. You find yourself in the mystical world of Sosaria, needing to stop the evil wizard Mondain, who has made himself invincible with his crystal of invulnerability.
Your task is to find four special crystals in different continents of Sosaria to activate a time machine. With this time machine, you can then travel to a timeline where Mondain is not immortal in order to kill him.
As a stranger, you also have the option to choose one of four classes at the start: the warrior, cleric, rogue, or wizard.
In addition, there are even four races to choose from: human, elf, dwarf, or “Bobbit”. And even though it was hard to tell the difference with the rustic graphics, each class had its own strengths.
Is there an open world? The world of Ultima is completely open-world and can be explored by you. There are not only different kingdoms waiting to be discovered but also dungeons to loot or steal from.
What was the combat system like? The battles were turn-based. If you did not meet the time limit, your opponent had the chance to hit you. This was not only the case in dungeons; even in the open world, random opponents could attack you without warning. The world of Ultima was therefore very alive.
What made Ultima so special? The interesting thing about Ultima is mainly the world and how it evolves through your progression. You start with ancient weapons like bows and swords, and before you know it, you can acquire guns and lightsabers and even fight T-Fighters with spaceships.
From medieval to sci-fi – This is how drastically the world of Ultima changes during your journey (via crpgbook.wordpress.com)
The contrast and especially how the world transforms through your actions and becomes sci-fi makes Ultima quirky, as nobody expected such changes in a game from 1981.
Essentially, the fantasy game of that time offered many cool things and was ahead of its time compared to many games. For this reason, Richard Garriott’s game also paved the way for the hack & slash genre.
What do you think of Ultima? Do you know the title and have you even played the first part of this fantasy game series? Let us know in the comments!
