We have known for a while that the new expansion for Diablo 4 will be released on April 28. The exact time was still open. In the latest stream, Blizzard reveals: at 1:00 AM German time, you can play Lord of Hatred. The preload can be started tonight.
When is the release time? In Germany (as well as in Austria and Switzerland), Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred will launch at 1:00 AM German time for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. The expansion has a global release, meaning it will be released worldwide at the same time and not according to local time.
The pre-download can, however, be started at 1:00 AM tonight, which is early morning on April 24. We cannot yet say how many GB you will have to download. Simultaneously with Lord of Hatred, or at least just a few minutes later, Season 13 will be released:

In the livestream, the developers also announced a collaboration with the metal band Korn. The song “Reward the Scars” will be released along with a video a few hours before Lord of Hatred.
Lord of Hatred transforms Diablo 4, changing all classes for everyone
In the stream, the developers discussed various innovations and changes that will come with Lord of Hatred and Season 13. One of the features that players are most looking forward to are the revamped skill trees. These will even be available for free for everyone, even if they do not own Lord of Hatred.
Every class will get a completely different talent tree in every version of Diablo 4 – seasonal and eternal, with or without Lord of Hatred. Instead of wide branches, you now have gradual improvements for your skills, with the ability to change their keywords and elements.
In addition, some quality improvements will come, such as higher stackable materials (up to 1,000), loot filters, and a transparent map.
Lord of Hatred itself will come with a new campaign and a “real” conclusion to the “Hatred Arcs,” as the developers themselves say. We have already played through the campaign and tested Lord of Hatred in advance: Even after 10 hours straight in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred, I didn’t want to stop
