League of Legends is a game that initially presents many players with a challenge. A dog has now shown on Twitch that there are other ways to do it and demonstrates how to dominate the lane motivated by treats.
Anyone playing League of Legends sometimes has to deal with teammates who do not always play at the desired level. At least, when it comes to humans.
On Twitch, an animal gamer has now shown her talent. The streamer poopernoodle’s dog, named Pea, is a dachshund. Normally, she is in the background during the streams, providing support to her owner.
However, she has now become active herself. The streamer played several rounds of League of Legends and got Pea directly involved by setting up a podium with three colorful buttons for her.
Good play must be rewarded
How did Pea perform? Each button corresponded to a key on the keyboard, specifically Q, E, and R. This allowed the dog to control various actions of the champion Yuumi – by the way, a cat.
The streamer poopernoodle took over the character’s movements and gave instructions. At the right moment – and with some encouraging words – Pea actually managed to press the right buttons at the correct time.
In this way, she fired projectiles or created a shield. The timing didn’t always work, and it happened that the dog wasted valuable mana by carelessly pressing a key.
For the most part, she did well and was able to compete against human opponents after a bot match. Pea even managed to defeat other players and, in the end, win the match together with her team.
Congratulations, not every (human) player can claim that! Whenever the dog performed an action well, she was naturally rewarded with a treat. Order must be maintained.
What does the community say? In a often toxic environment, small stories like that of the dog Pea are refreshing. This is also reflected by users commenting on TikTok:
- “The player with the lowest toxicity ever in LoL,” finds Clair, Wally & Brox.
- “Imagine losing the bot lane to a dog playing Support,” writes hello-there!
- “Still better than 80% of my support players that I encounter on my lane,” emphasizes Rzvee.
- “Average Yuumi player,” finds prvurges.
Even the official LoL account comments under the video: “So this is who I lose the lane against.”
Most take the story with humor. And who knows, maybe Pea has a long and successful career in esports ahead of her with enough practice (and sufficient rewards). She definitely brings the motivation.
