Why is the Steam Controller so exciting? Many players report on Reddit that they already have fast, powerful hardware at home. Therefore, the Steam Machine is not that relevant for many, especially if they already own a powerful PC. Some add that they are not the target audience for the new Steam Machine. One person explained that they recently bought a gaming PC and therefore do not need a Steam Machine.
