A fan baited the streamer with a special hat: the “Midnight Blue Sparkle Time Fedora” for 14 million Robux, which currently corresponds to about 143,000 euros (as of May 24, 2023).
The 18-year-old probably thought it would be funny to make his viewers believe that he would actually buy the hat, only to back out at the last moment. At that point, he still had a little over 19 million Robux in his account.
Apparently, the streamer did not realize that after the question of whether one wanted to buy the item, there wouldn’t be an additional confirmation asking whether one was really sure. Instead, a message appeared on his screen confirming his successful purchase.

How did the streamer react? His first reaction was several loud “No” shouts, followed by “I need to get a refund!” After much fuss, the streamer finally explains that he thought the site would ask for confirmation again.
In the meantime, he seems to be near tears.
Is the money gone? Yes, because there is currently no option for a refund on Roblox (via Roblox). The streamer only has the option to resell the hat. However, as he must realize immediately after his purchase, the fedora typically sells for only 4 million Robux.
Additionally, Roblox retains about 30% of the sale amount – IShowSpeed would therefore have to sell the hat for more than 20 million Robux to recover his loss.

What is behind this? As Dexerto reports, SecretMizzy is a London-based YouTuber and TikToker. He had been posting such “pranks” online for some time, but they suddenly went viral on May 17.
TikTok promptly took action and banned the account on May 19 due to a violation of community guidelines. Thus, the original videos have disappeared from the platform as well. However, there are now countless posts on all major social networks discussing the footage.
A video shared by Dexerto itself on Twitter has been viewed by more than 26 million users.

Which words lead to the problem? There is no official and viewable blacklist of words that are forbidden and can cause problems if you write them in your Steam profile.
The Spiffing Brit used the English term “Antidisestablishmentarianism” for his video – it is neither vulgar nor inappropriate, nor is it offensive. The word refers to the resistance against the abolition of the English state church (Church of England).
