The “Giant Killer” rule states that if a team close to completing the Grand Slam is stopped in the final of its potential fourth win, the opponent receives a “Giant Killer Bonus” of $100,000.
What’s next: Already in April 2026, Team Vitality has the chance to secure the Grand Slam. On April 13, the Intel Extreme Masters started in Rio, where the team has already won against RED Canids and G2 Esports in the group stage. The third group match is on April 15 against Team Falcons.
