At the moment, it seems quiet regarding rumors and leaks about the ONL. However, some people are reporting on Reddit that tickets for the show are still being offered via Discord.
The event is already completely sold out, according to the gamescom Ticket Shop. You’ll only be able to get tickets from resellers, if at all, but you need to be very cautious with those.

Last night, Michał Nowakowski, Co-CEO of CD PROJEKT RED, invited you in a video (see x.com) not only to the stand at gamescom but also announced a release of Witcher 4 for 2028.
Additionally, CD Projekt Red Community and Social Media Manager Marcin Łukaszewski confirmed via x.com that there will definitely be more Gwent in the new DLC for Witcher 3 “Songs of the Past”. So good news for all card game fans!

Good morning everyone and welcome to our live ticker for the Opening Night Live 2026! I’m Alex and together with Sophia I’ll be covering the start of gamescom for you today.
We will provide you with exciting information and leaks throughout the day and during the event about the ONL and gamescom so that you are always kept up to date.
When the ONL starts, we will list all announcements and trailers so that you don’t miss anything if you can’t be there. So feel free to bookmark the ticker or leave the tab open.
When does the Opening Night Live 2026 start? The Opening Night Live 2026 starts on August 25 at 8:00 PM German time. To participate, you can either buy a ticket and travel to Cologne or tune in online on Twitch or YouTube. The pre-show begins at 7:30 PM to get all viewers warmed up for the program.
Are there still tickets to buy? According to the official gamescom page, all tickets for the ONL are currently sold out.
How do I get to the ONL if I have a ticket? The gamescom itself states on its page that you will find the entrance to the Cologne Fair, Hall 1, via the Confex in the left area of the foyer:
- The entrance stamps will be distributed from 4:30 PM onwards.
- The entrance to the hall starts between 5:45 PM and 7:30 PM.
- Don’t be late, as admission will no longer be possible after 7:30 PM.
- At 7:30 PM the pre-show starts.
- At 8:00 PM the ONL begins.
- At 10:00 PM the expected end of the show is estimated.
Which games are currently known? According to gameswirtschaft.de, several titles that will be presented at the ONL are already known. You can expect the following games:
