What is the Dark Urge in gameplay terms? Dark Urge uniquely combines two things in character selection:
You can create a character yourself, being free in your choice of class, race, and appearance.
But you still experience a pre-made storyline, as if you select one of the companions like Gale or Karlach as your starting hero.
So you get the best of both worlds: If you want to freely design a hero, you miss out on a personal story. If you choose one of the companions, you have less freedom in character design.
But what makes Dark Urge so fascinating? It’s the unexpected twists it allows the player. Playing as a serial killer opens up unique interactions with your companions and new scenarios in the game, which players discover and love the Dark Urge for even more.

If you start a romance as Dark Urge with Astarion, the pale elf will throw the following words at you, as Reddit user Jadefangg discovered: I would rather be the only dark power in your body, if you don’t mind.
After Astarion’s line, the player humorously concluded: “That’s why I will always play Dark Urge from now on.”
Jadefangg also praises:

What does Tav mean? Tav is the preset name that Baldur’s Gate 3 gives to custom characters. If you don’t change your name, you will start as Tav. Additionally, Tav could mean: Tadpoled Adventurer, as all self-created characters are named because everyone has been infected.
The name is reportedly derived from the original development version with the project name Gustav. Gustav is said to be the name of Swen Vincke’s dog, as voiced by Halsin’s voice actor Dave Jones on X.
Players use the term Tav to refer to the player’s main character. Thus, we all probably carry the nickname of Swen Vincke’s dog.
But not only Astarion is captivated by the allure of the Dark Urge. Your companion Gale also has amazing interactions with the serial killer.
When the player character confessed that he would be forced to kill Gale because he cared the most about him, Gale humorously responded, “Sweet that you care enough about me to murder me. It is revealed that this character is regularly haunted by an overwhelming urge to murder. As a beginner, you should avoid the Dark Urge unless you are absolute psychos.
The Dark Urge delights in brutality and bloodshed – all of this satisfies the character, even if he does not want it. The Dark Urge thus struggles with an inner conflict – how much should he give in to these impulses?
Anyone playing the Dark Urge will also experience some story surprises during their playthrough.

For the upcoming Community Day in November 2023, it is now confirmed that Felino and Paldea-Felino will be the focus of the event. There will be special attacks, an event ticket, candy bonuses, and more.

Community Day November 2023 – Event Overview
When does the event take place? On Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Which Pokémon are the focus? Felino and Paldea-Felino. Both can also be caught as Shiny if you’re lucky.
Special attacks:
If you evolve Felino during the event or up to 5 hours afterward into Morlord, it will learn the charged attack Water Tail (50 damage in trainer battles, raids, and gym battles).
If you evolve Paldea-Felino during the event or up to 5 hours afterward into Suelord, it will learn the charged attack Multi-ender (110 damage in trainer battles, raids, and gym battles).
Event bonuses:
Double candy for catching Pokémon
Double the chances of XL candy when catching Pokémon (For trainers from level 31)
Eggs placed in incubators during the event only require a quarter of the hatching distance
Stardust trade costs are reduced by 50%
Incense activated during the event lasts for three hours
Smoke activated during the event lasts for three hours
An additional special trade (so a maximum of 2 per day)
Ticket for 1 Euro: Those who want can purchase a special ticket for the event for about €1. This unlocks the special research “A Muddy Buddy” for you. It revolves around the event Pokémon and rewards you, among other things, with additional Felino encounters.
Raids after the event: Between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM on November 5, you will find level 4 raids. If you win, many Felino and Paldea-Felino will appear around the gym for 30 minutes. Participation via Remote Raid Pass is not possible.
On YouTube, a conflict is currently escalating between two major YouTubers: jacksfilms criticized the reaction YouTuber SSSniperWolf, claiming she would steal content. The 30-year-old felt harassed by the constant criticism and sought a clarifying conversation. She went to the YouTuber’s house, made a video, and posted it on Instagram. For jacksfilms, all boundaries have been crossed: He demands her ban.
Which YouTuber is being referred to?
In the German-speaking area, she is relatively unknown, but SSSniperWolf is a massive YouTuber with 34.2 million subscribers. According to various lists, no woman on YouTube has more subscribers than she does. Her name may sound reminiscent of the Nazi era to German viewers, but it is derived from the much more harmless “sexysexysniper”
The YouTuber is 30 years old, started with gameplay videos of Call of Duty, but is now known for her reaction videos: The videos with typical “YouTuber looking surprised/scared/disgusted” thumbnails garner millions of views. She is also big on platforms like Instagram or TikTok.
Many of her videos have typical “Click” themes and are between 9 and 15 minutes long. Current videos are titled something like “TikToks that are ONLY for Boys” or “TikToks that are ONLY for Girls”.

YouTuber accuses colleague of ”stealing content” – only reacting
This is the criticism: The significantly smaller, but still huge YouTuber jackflims (4.88 million subscribers) has repeatedly engaged with SSSniperWolf over the last 3 months: Of the 8 videos he uploaded during this time, 5 were about the YouTuber. These videos also achieve significantly higher view counts than other content on his channel.
He views the YouTuber’s reaction videos as “content theft” because she does not do enough to give her reaction videos a personal touch: Her content is not “transformative,” adding too little to the videos she reacts to.
In this way, he sees the actual creators of the content robbed of their fair reward.

How does SSSniperWolf feel about this? She feels overwhelmed by the criticism now, believes the YouTuber is doing nothing but criticize her and has ulterior profit motives: He is making money at her expense.
On Instagram, where she has 6 million followers, she has already spoken several times about jackfilms. For instance, she asked her followers whether she should visit him – he lives only 5 minutes away.

The YouTuber says the YouTuber is harassing her. His whole channel revolves around her.
She writes that this “creep” has harassed her for months and is forcing himself into a victim role, while she just wants to talk to him.
It is so sad when guys create drama just to pay the bills.
This is how the dispute has now escalated. As jackfilms says, SSSniperwolf has now really shown up in front of his house and broadcast the house to her millions of Instagram followers, posting: “Let’s talk like adults.”
He and his wife now feel “less secure.” He only exercises constructive criticism towards the person, while she now seems to want to use her followers to intimidate him.

For jackfilms, a boundary has been crossed here. He calls on YouTube and Instagram to ban SSSniperWolf. He feels unsafe in his home. No one should be allowed to use their internet fame to intimidate someone like this.
If her behavior goes unpunished, it sets a terrible precedent: One could intimidate and harass their critics as long as one has enough followers. That cannot be allowed.
If she really wanted to talk to him, she would have had numerous other options.

Dispute highlights 3 current conflicts surrounding content creators
This is what lies behind it: Multiple points come together here, which have been increasingly discussed lately.
Reaction content has been criticized for weeks: It is seen as “cheap content” that requires no effort and robs smaller channels that create their own content of their fame, while the larger creators benefit from it. If everyone only reacts, nobody does anything exciting, say the critics.
Others say: By “reacting,” smaller YouTubers are not harmed but rather become known. The criticism has focused on Twitch streamers like Asmongold and xQc, who react for hours and constantly to the content of others.
What you also see here: “Smaller” YouTubers often have great success with content where they attack and criticize larger YouTubers. Their channel often reaches higher views with this kind of content than with normal content: They are then accused of “rising at the expense of others” and that they are not interested in criticism but only in drama.
Larger content creators are also accused of using their reach to silence critics by deliberately attacking them on social media, accusing them of “framing,” only spreading “lies and slander,” and thereby prompting their followers to rant against this channel.
In this case, three current disputes among content creators intersect. Whether YouTube will actually comply with jackfilms’ request and ban SSSniperWolf seems rather unlikely.
