Season 15: Theme and New Features
What is the theme of Season 15? The theme of Season 15 is not officially known yet. However, in the blog post, Blizzard offers an insight into the seasonal content and changes to the base game.
This is what Season 15 contains:
- Seasonal Items: With the soul shards, new socketable items are coming into play. They come in all rarity levels (common to unique) and bring you various strong bonuses.
- New, previously known Uniques: A total of 9 Uniques from Diablo 1 to 3 are returning – including Leoric’s Crown and the Stone of Jordan. The stats are adjusted for Diablo 4 and are therefore not identical to previous versions. About half of them can be used by all classes.
- Adjustment of Mythics: Following criticism, Blizzard continues to adjust the Mythics. The system is supposed to become simpler in Season 15, provide more crafting options, and give you more targeted control over the most important items for your builds.
- Reincarnation: Characters from the eternal realm can now be directly converted into seasonal characters. This saves you from having to completely recreate your favorite heroes. How the reincarnation system works in Diablo 4 can be found here.

- Challenge Dungeons: Through portals in the overland, you can access new dungeons where you fight dangerous bosses. At torment levels, you can increase the difficulty for better loot up to three levels above your current level.
- New Talisman Spells: The talisman system is getting new unique and mythic spells. Each unique spell also has a small chance to drop as a mythic version.
- Horadric Mail: A new in-game system through which Blizzard sends you rewards and supplies. On the PTR, you will already receive a first memorial item.

Season 15: Best Classes and Builds
Which class is the best class in Season 15? Which classes and builds will dominate the tier lists in Season 15 is not yet clear. The PTR will show initial developments. In Season 14, the Barbarian led the S-tier with multiple builds. How strongly the new soul shards, spells, and Uniques will influence the meta will only be revealed after the tests. And how the classes currently perform in the endgame can be seen in our tier list for Season 14 in Diablo 4.
