Meleys, known as the Red Queen
, is the dragon of Rhaenys Targaryen from House of the Dragon. But the dragon lady is much older. Her rider was previously Alyssa Targaryen, the mother of King Viserys and Daemon Targaryen.
Meleys may not be the largest of her kind. But in her youth, she was considered the fastest dragon in all of Westeros, easily outpacing even Vhagar or Caraxes. By the time of the prequel series, she is older, but still at least as dangerous as before.
In battle, she is a true fury, as she demonstrates in her epic finale against Sunfire. Only through the ambush by Aemond and his giant dragon Vhagar could Meleys be defeated.
