Sheepstealer is one of three wild dragons that lived long before the events of Game of Thrones on Dragonstone. He is mud-brown, slender, and known for his unpredictable character. Despite his temperament, he seems not to attack people for no reason. But that should not be mistaken for weakness. Sheepstealer is definitely very dangerous and is among the most independent and wild dragons we know.
In Season 2 of House of the Dragon, the currently dragonless Rhaena Targaryen sets out to find Sheepstealer to tame him. She finds him in the Vale of Arryn. How things progress with the two will be seen soon in Season 3. You can find out everything about the upcoming release here.
Already, the series has taken a different path than the books. There, it is Nettles, the daughter of a prostitute, who seeks the favor of Sheepstealer. She was among the “dragon seeds”, illegitimate children with potential Targaryen blood, among whom Rhaenyra wanted to search for dragon riders.
