Many know Gorr from the 4th Thor movie, but his true power is evident in the comics. In Thor: God of Thunder No. 9, he fights not just one, but 3 versions of Thor: Thor, a young Thor, and an old Thor. When Gorr sees them, he merely responds: You should have brought more Thors.
Despite the combined strength of 3 gods of thunder (with 3 hammers), they cannot withstand the seemingly endless power of Gorr’s weapon, the Necrosword. They fight fiercely, but in the end, only Gorr remains, whose rage against the gods knows no bounds.
Even in the film Thor: Love and Thunder, Gorr was able to defeat Thor, even though he ultimately lost in the end.
