With so many concurrent players, it even surpasses Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The new AC in Japan reached its peak of 64,825 players only after three days. Currently, there are around 26,000 players in-game via Steam (via steamdb.info, as of March 26, 2025, 12:30 PM).
How successful is Assassin’s Creed? Looking at the numbers, it should be considered that Assassin’s Creed Shadows is not only available on Steam but also on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Additionally, the game can also be played on Ubisoft’s own Launcher (Connect) and through the Ubisoft+ subscription.
Thus, the higher player numbers on Steam do not mean that Schedule I is overall more successful than AC Shadows. In a post on X, Ubisoft announced that Shadows already has 2 million players, surpassing the launches of Origins and Odyssey.
