But now there has been a curious case: A video was muted because it supposedly contained copyrighted sound effects. In the background, only the music from World of Warcraft Classic was playing – the game that was also streamed.
What happened? The Polish streamer michalronin noticed that one of his videos on Twitch was muted. This happens whenever Twitch automatically detects copyrighted music. The bizarre thing was: The streamer didn’t even have ordinary music in the background. The only sound was the background music and sounds of WoW Classic.

What was Twitch’s reasoning? In a screenshot, Michalronin then showed the reasoning. Supposedly, the sound “Medium Wind Storm with Gusts, Whistles and Low Rumble” was heard in the background – which translates to something like “Medium Wind with Gusts, Whispers, and Low Rumble” in German. The sound allegedly belongs to “The Hollywood Edge Sound Effects Library,” a database for sounds.
The system had apparently recognized this and muted the corresponding video.
If you’re interested in more about Twitch and WoW, you might find these topics exciting:
Is this really protected? In many countries yes. In principle, sound recordings are protected by copyright just like recordings of entire music pieces, images, or any other artistic works. This is a reality in many countries. After all, there are entire databases for sounds that make their money selling licenses for such sounds so that developers can incorporate them into games or movies.
Many find the incidents on Twitch amusing – but is it perhaps even right?
In addition, games and almost all their content – including music and sounds – are also protected by copyright. Developers wouldn’t need to allow streamers to present their games to the public on Twitch, at least in Europe.
Whether the Twitch system has made a mistake here or really recognized a wind effect that may have been bought by the WoW team and implemented in the game is hard to determine.
The incident shows that copyright is a complex issue and even small parts of entire works are protected and can lead to problems in publishing. This whole topic will certainly accompany us for much longer in the coming weeks and months.
What do you think of the incident? Logical that the system evaluated it this way? Or a clear error that shows the absurdity of copyright?
In League of Legends (LoL) the new patch 10.23 is active. It particularly reworks the shop, brings new items and even mythical items. Some players seem overwhelmed.
What is happening in the new patch? In LoL, the preseason is currently happening, which has changed quite a bit with the new patch 10.23. The focus was on the item shop in the game, which now looks different, reacts differently, and suggests different items to players. In short: a lot is different now.
For long-time players, the shop has been completely revamped. Many are struggling to adapt.
What exactly has changed in the shop in patch 10.23?
Recommended items: The selection of recommended items has been optimized according to Riot Games. This overview is now compiled based on your current equipment, opponents, and the course of the game.
All items: Here you can still find all items. By clicking on the icon of your class, you will find only items relevant for tanks, ADCs, mages, or other classes.
Quick buy window: On the left side of the shop, you will find this new window. Items such as potions, wards, and boots that are frequently purchased are provided here.
This is what the new shop from LoL looks like
Mythical items: Mythical items are now the highest class of items that LoL has to offer. They are meant to define your play style. You can only own one mythical item. Each of these mythical items has a passive effect that makes legendary items more useful.
New legendary items: The legendary items are now the highest item class prior to patch 10.23. Other than boots, you cannot upgrade them further. Here and there, new legendary items have been added to fill niches, including Demonic Embrace. It is basically Liandry’s Anguish, but for tanks.
How are the players reacting?
This is what Twitter shows: The shop change in LoL is hotly debated on social networks. Some players are struggling to cope with the change and want to take a break from LoL for now.
On the account of parquesomedia, an e-sports journalist for InvenGlobal, one reads: “I will really stop playing the game now. I absolutely cannot play with these items. It doesn’t make sense. I’m done with it.” He explains that this is his humble opinion and apologizes to the developers who are working on it. He simply can’t relate to it.

This is what reddit says: The new shop in LoL is also a hot topic on reddit. Often discussed is the size, which is simply too small on larger monitors. Others say that the new shop should never have gone live together with the new items. Players feel overwhelmed.
But whether on reddit or Twitter, no matter where you look, you keep reading: Just wait a little and play a few days with the new items and the new shop. Players should give themselves time to get used to the new system.
Have you tried the new shop yet and what is your opinion on it? Let us know here on MeinMMO in the comments.
MeinMMO received a PS5 from Sony for testing purposes: Shooter specialist Sven Galitzki was able to take the next-gen console for a spin. Here he describes how his first experiences with Destiny 2 on the PlayStation 5 turned out.
It is an exciting time around Destiny 2. With the launch of the new expansion Beyond Light and Season 12, Year 4 has begun. Furthermore, the journey for many Guardians is likely to continue on the next-gen consoles PS5 or Xbox Series X.
For me, there was absolutely no question about which game would be the first to examine on the PS5: Destiny 2.
About the Author: Sven has been working at MeinMMO since 2018, focusing intensely on the shooter genre as an author and expert.
He is a fan of Destiny since the beginning and has spent an enormous amount of time in both parts of the franchise. If there is a game that will forever have a place in his heart, it is Destiny. But countless hours in various “Call of Duty” games, as well as the Division and Battlefield series, are also part of his portfolio.
For Destiny 2 on the PS5, I had to sneak out at night
The backstory: On November 11, I joyfully accepted the package with the PS5 from the mailman. I felt like a little boy just before Christmas, but also somewhat burdened. Because I knew exactly: It couldn’t have come at a worse time.
Due to work and personal commitments, I have no time to test the good piece today and tomorrow (on the 11th and 12th). Moreover, my new 4K TV for the PS5 won’t arrive until Monday. “More than setting it up and with a lot of luck maybe configuring it will not be possible today,” I thought to myself yesterday.
So it happened. I was glad that I could even unpack the PlayStation 5 after work, set it up in a flash (as a PS4 user, you get the hang of it right away) and then quickly started the download of Destiny 2 and The Division 2. I had to leave shortly after.
Late in the evening, I returned, but gaming was out of the question. Because even the house dragon had to be calmed and demanded its time. An old Russian proverb says: Happy Wife, Happy Life.
In short: If I had touched the PS5 any longer, I don’t know if I would have to explain to Sony now how that thing could have fallen out of the window.
Shortly after, I went to bed. But I couldn’t really sleep. I tossed and turned for a while. And when I noticed that Madame was fast asleep, childish curiosity and the gamer in me could no longer be restrained. While most of you might have been sleeping, I quietly sneaked out of the bedroom, checked if the kids were really asleep, sat down at the PS5 and started Destiny 2 right away.
This is how Destiny 2 plays currently on the PS5
Take note: I carried this out quietly and secretly at night, so I didn’t make any precise measurements nor did I conduct detailed comparisons with the PS4 Pro or take many pictures. I will do that in the coming days and weeks.
My key insights into Destiny 2 on PS5: It all started with a big “Oh oh!”. Because during the login, it didn’t feel much faster than it did on the PS4 – probably because here primarily the internet connection, not the hardware of the PlayStation 5, plays a role.
But then the new power was immediately noticeable – at least mostly with the loading times. Currently, Destiny 2 runs via the backward compatibility feature of the PS5. In other words, you are playing the PS4 version with a performance boost. But features like 60 FPS or true 4K resolution – all that comes later with the free upgrade.
I played Destiny 2: Beyond Light on the PS5
Destiny 2 compared PS5 vs. PS4 Pro
However, even this first performance boost already put a smile on my face. The day before, I had played on the PS4 Pro, and the difference was already enormous:
Destiny 2 ran absolutely smoothly and technically flawlessly.
In the character menu, there is still a slight delay, but it’s not comparable to what one experiences on the PS4. After about a second, you can already see the character and his equipment.
The approach to a location is noticeably faster. Often, the actual flight animation is not even played anymore. You see your spaceship launch from orbit, and you are practically already there.
If you want to examine a weapon, shader, or mods during flight, all of that is possible within 1-3 seconds without any problem. On the PS4 Pro, the inspected weapon often didn’t even show up for me when I was already on the tower.
If you are traveling with a fixed squad or one formed through matchmaking, the approach might take a bit longer, so solo. But it’s still much faster than before on the PS4.
The menus and tabs open noticeably faster in general. Swift switching of loadouts is no longer an issue.
If you want to jump on the Sparrow, just tapping the button is enough, and you’re on it.
There are no loading pauses between the individual areas anymore. I hopped on the Sparrow and tried to drive around locations like Europa. It went completely smoothly. Without a single stutter, without ever getting stuck with the loading wheel on the screen.
Even in the tower, I did not experience a single stutter or hang between the individual areas.
Fast travel over the map of a location is finally living up to its name.
Even though the 60 FPS are supposed to arrive in December, I generally feel that Destiny 2 now runs much smoother and softer in direct comparison to the PS4 Pro. Maybe the action MMO is already benefiting noticeably from the boost mode of the PlayStation 5.
The PS5 remained completely silent the whole time, not so much as a peep – no matter how much was happening on screen.
The new DualSense controller feels extremely precise to me. I always play with maximum sensitivity in Destiny 2, but as precise as the DualSense is, the DualShock of the PS4 doesn’t even come close to that.
A tasty morsel that makes you look forward to December 8
My conclusion: In short: All Guardians who want to get a PS5 – look forward to it. Even with the currently few concrete improvements, such as in loading time and possibly in framerate, Destiny 2 on the PS5 is already a delight for me and no comparison to the PS4.
Those who have enjoyed Destiny on the PlayStation 4 or the PS4 Pro are likely to enjoy it even more on the PS5. It is not a different game, but just by the faster loading, it offers a different, truly fluid experience that will be significantly enhanced on December 8. Then there will be native 4K resolution, 60 FPS in PvE, 120 FPS in PvP, and a FoV slider.
With Patch 5.35, the new upgrades for the special weapons of the Resistance are now available in Final Fantasy XIV. Here you will learn how to upgrade the weapons to the current maximum level.
To unlock the next step for upgrading your Resistance weapon, you first need to start the next quest in the questline concerning the Queen’s Guard in Gangos by speaking with Marsak (X: 6.4 Y: 5.7) and accepting the quest “Operation Nest-Raider”.
This will unlock the Southern Front of Bozja and a new quest, which allows you to continue your journey to upgrade the “Relic Weapon” from Shadowbringers.
To upgrade your weapon, you need to bring Zlatan in Gangos (X: 6.1 Y: 4.9) certain items called “Memory Clumps.” There are 3 different types, of which you need 20 each:
Memory Clump of Sorrow
Memory Clump of Pain
Memory Clump of Fear
You will receive these when you complete skirmishes and Critical Engagements in the area of the Bozja Southern Front. However, you can also obtain them from FATEs in specific zones of Heavensward:
Memory Clump of Pain can be farmed in the Western Highlands of Coerthas and the Abalathian Sea of Clouds
Memory Clump of Sorrow in the Dravanian Forelands and the Rolling Mist
Memory Clump of Fear can be found in the Hinterlands of Dravanian and in Azys Lla.
Once this step is completed, you can return to Zlatan and continue with the next step called “The Maxim is Bravery.”
This step ensures that your Resistance weapon shines beautifully. For this, you need 6 Memory Clumps of Fury. You will obtain these again from the Bozja Southern Front or from any dungeons at level 60.
However, you must run these dungeons with a group. At the end, you will receive one Memory Clump per run.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War celebrates its release on November 13 and is the 17th premium title of CoD. MeinMMO has put together some info here so you won’t jump into the cold water completely when the new first-person shooter launches.
With the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the latest CoD generation takes a step back in time and revolves around fast-paced and action-packed battles during the Cold War era. Unlike in Modern Warfare, you won’t be able to put your enemies under pressure with the latest drone technology, but will be limited to 80s war equipment.
However, Call of Duty was once considered a World War shooter and knows how to program a fast shooter that offers many tactical options without the latest technical gadgets, rewarding players for their strong aiming and calculated flanking maneuvers.
To prepare you for what to expect, MeinMMO has compiled 6 things that particularly highlight the differences between the old and new CoD, the multiplayer content at launch, and the changes compared to the beta phase.
When does Cold War start? The full “Cold War” release with all multiplayer features starts for us at 6 AM on Friday, November 13. Soldiers who get into the game earlier can access much, but there are still some restrictions until the full release. For example, they cannot completely finish the zombie map.
Day-One Patch
If you purchased the new Black Ops digitally, you can preload Cold War on all platforms, and the Day-One patch will already be applied for you. Reports suggest the first patch of Cold War is:
approximately 15 GB (PlayStation)
However, if you purchased a physical version and are retrieving the data from a Blu-Ray, you will definitely need to download the patch before you can really get started. So far, there’s no information from developer Treyarch on whether there will be another patch right at launch.
More info on purchasing Cold War can be found here:
Adjustments Movement, Weapon Handling & TTK to CoD MW
The CoD from 2019, Modern Warfare, will likely be remembered as the Warzone CoD. In terms of movement and features, the title took many different paths than previous CoDs. Therefore, it often faced accusations of catering to beginners and “casual players”. Due to the supposed beginner-friendliness, Warzone is more accessible to the larger player base that was able to build the big Free2Play battle royale.
With Cold War, some of these developments have been rolled back, and the new Black Ops again resembles a CoD on the PS3 – aside from the technical progress. In terms of graphics and performance, it is a fully-fledged next-gen title.
However, with movement and weapon handling, Cold War moves away from its predecessor Modern Warfare again and resembles more the gameplay of earlier CoDs. The guns feel a bit “arcady”, just like the movement.
Everything goes a bit more towards video game and hasn’t necessarily become more realistic. Fans of realistic approaches may find less enjoyment in Cold War than in CoD MW. However, for fans of hardcore shooter action, the CoD series has often not been the right choice.
This also applies to the time-to-kill (TTK). The TTK is again significantly higher than in CoD MW (around 200 ms) and is approximately at the level of Black Ops 4 (over 300 ms). However, unlike BO4, Cold War comes with a strong multiplier for headshots. With headshots, Cold War is back at the level of Modern Warfare. Another feature that favors more advanced players.
In summary, CoD MW takes a more realistic approach with high beginner-friendliness, while Cold War returns to earlier CoD mechanics and appeals to advanced players. However, it also adds its own developments to movement:
You can swim in Cold War
There is a sprint take-off, allowing you to run faster at the start of a sprint, which then tapers off
There are more running speeds available, giving you more control over your step noise
In Cold War, you can swim, dive, and even shoot while doing so.
What Cold War keeps from Modern Warfare
The last point does not mean that Cold War couldn’t learn from CoD MW as well. There are some features that CoD 2020 takes from its predecessor and even improves:
Executions / Finishing Move
Large 40vs40 mode
Gunsmith
Executions:The finishing moves from CoD MW remain in the game with Cold War. You can sneak up on an opponent from behind and eliminate them with a cool animation. You can also send downed enemies into respawn with the execution.
Gunsmith: With Cold War, you can also attach mods to your weapons and enter battle with countless combinations. The feature has been further expanded, allowing you to see even the smallest detail of changes to weapon stats.
The gunsmith is significantly more informative with Cold War.
What Cold War does differently than Modern Warfare
The important changes compared to CoD MW are, however, more extensive:
Ping system in multiplayer
Prestige system
Scorestreaks
Loadout composition
More colors
Ping system: Cold War will offer a ping system in multiplayer. This means you can mark your targets and draw attention to enemies, give commands, or simply annoy your teammates.
Prestige system: The new CoD offers a completely revamped prestige system, which we explain in detail here. You can earn and keep a limited number of prestige ranks per season, but can ascend 1,200 levels, which reset to 0 with each season.
Scorestreaks: Cold War also takes its own path here. You now unlock your previous killstreaks based on your score, i.e., your points. They no longer reset upon death, and you accumulate them throughout the match. However, to unlock the right heavy hitters, you still need killstreaks to accumulate the points. A preview and explanation of the scorestreaks can be found here.
Create-a-Class: The loadout system works a bit differently than in CoD MW, but doesn’t completely depart from the old approaches, as it still needs to align with Warzone. You should be able to assemble your loadouts for Battle Royale via CoD MW or Cold War, and the weapons from Cold War will likely all come to Warzone.
The biggest adjustment here is the wildcards. These are particularly strong perks that alter certain conditions for your loadout. For example, the Overkill perk, which allows you to carry 2 primary weapons, is now such a wildcard and no longer a normal perk. Another wildcard allows you to attach more mods to your weapons, letting you fill all 8 mod slots.
With the prestige system, you can unlock tons of emblems and rewards.
Multiplayer Content at Release
At launch, Cold War offers a total of 10 maps set in locations around the world. Some are specifically designed for standard matches (6vs6), while others are adjusted versions of larger maps, which actually belong to game modes that also allow more players:
Thus, 8 maps are available for the normal multiplayer modes in 6vs6 style at launch. The first new map has already been announced: Nuketown ’84 comes on November 24. At GameStar, you can view the maps in detail.
To conclude the list, MeinMMO presents a few adjustments compared to the beta phase that faced some criticisms. Treyarch has included extensive patch notes in the big blog “The Road to Launch”, and we summarize the most important adjustments:
Weapon levels go from 40 to 55 – More attachments for all guns
Military ranks (0 – 55) come into play and unlock standard equipment
Prestige system is introduced (Pre-season with 3 prestige levels)
More weapons, perks, scorestreaks
Challenges will be unlocked
Better audio and more audio options
Comprehensive improvements to the Fireteam mode
Ping system expansion (allows you to mark C4, for example)
Expansion of the arsenal to 29 weapons
Adjustments to all weapon classes based on feedback and data from the beta
Overhaul of aim assist
Bullet direction has been adjusted. In the beta, it oriented itself to the actual position of the weapon and now pays more attention to your line of sight at scope level
Slide – Shorter and slower sliding, plus you can now shoot faster out of a sprint than a slide
The cheaper scorestreaks are harder to obtain (streak spam from the beta reduced)
Point earnings for high killstreaks have been increased
General overhaul of the required points / cooldowns for scorestreaks
General overhaul of the spawn system
Adjustments of some perks, field upgrades, and equipment
Executions, weapon inspection, theater support are coming into the game
Skins can be fully unlocked and used
Comprehensive overhaul in the area of audio (footsteps, map audio, weapons, etc.)
You can already find gameplay from the zombie mode, but the big puzzle can only be solved at launch.
In addition to the new Call of Duty, CoD wants to impress with the continued development of the battle royale Warzone and brings new content inspired by the Cold War setting. The first new Warzone map is supposed to be a historically significant location from that time. A killstreak and a mission resembling Cold War can already be found in the game. Here you can learn more about the integration of Warzone and Cold War.
The Elder Scrolls Online has been around since 2014 and is still actively played and developed. But what should be done from the community’s perspective to keep the game relevant as a NextGen MMORPG in 2021 and beyond? We at MeinMMO have asked fans and experts like streamer Alex0s.
Since then, continuous updates have continued, including annual new chapters since 2017, each introducing completely new regions and gameplay elements.
However, there is occasional criticism that ESO brings more of the same every year with no real innovations coming. But what does the community actually wish for? And what would be necessary from the perspective of fans and experts to establish ESO as a next-generation MMORPG in the coming years?
We at MeinMMO conducted a large survey in the German Facebook group for ESO, where over 150 comments were actively contributed by many fans. Thank you again to the Facebook ESO community.
How can ESO be improved? That’s a question not only Echsi is asking.
For this, we also asked ESO expert and streamer Alex0s (via YouTube) for a statement on the topic. You can find his opinion at the end of the article.
What fans wish for in the future from ESO
In the large German ESO Facebook group, there were numerous comments on the topic. The wishes of the community primarily concern these areas:
Servers, performance, and bug fixes
Comfort features like flying mounts, a global auction house, or more inventory space
A more challenging combat system and more individuality for classes
We will briefly reflect prominent opinions on these topics in the following paragraphs.
Performance and Co.
The most prominent issue on the community’s wish list is clearly performance. Because ESO does not always run smoothly on consoles, and there are often lags and long loading times. User Tanja Burri summarizes many opinions:
I think of better [servers] or new megaservers with more power and capacity.
As a player, you suffer greatly from game performance… loading times are okay, but as soon as there are many effects in raids or PvP, performance drops.
Even when things go boom and fizz, the game should still perform well in the future.
The problem seems to primarily affect consoles, which, according to user Chris Löblein, are not designed for this type of game:
The biggest problem with consoles is not only the servers but also the performance of the consoles themselves. I have played on both console and now on PC, and the difference with more computing power is massive. Consoles are simply not designed for this type of game.
At least the criticized weak performance of the Xbox One and PS4 should improve with the next-gen consoles Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
Comfort Features
When you spend a lot of time in a game, you eventually notice what feels awkward and uncomfortable. Thus, comfort features are important. ESO has been steadily improving in this regard over the years, most recently with the new collections menu, but according to players, there are still several things that can be improved to make ESO more enjoyable to play.
ESO has already realized various comfort features in housing.
More inventory space: The most requested comfort feature by far is more inventory space. Because in ESO, you can collect a lot of items, and eventually, even the extended space is filled with clutter. Therefore, Sonja Kolthof wishes, along with many other things, especially for more space!
– flying mounts – more space (I’m looking forward to the console update on November 10) – some way to prevent money carries (e.g., in raids or dungeons) – MORE SPACE! – The ability to send messages to players in a group from within the group – the ability to sort master writs by sets – stack and bank golden motif style pages – access to the inventory of all characters on an account/server(!!!!!) – Oh, AND MORE SPACE!!!!!!
Flying mounts: Also high on the wishlist of many ESO fans are flying mounts, which allow for quick traversal of areas. However, they come with some problems, which is why user FTLF has a concrete suggestion:
I would support flying mounts as long as it means that visually you’re in the air, but the hitbox is still on the ground… more like hovering than flying. Otherwise, no one would ride anymore, and I don’t even want to start about Cyro [PvP] and server load.
Many would like the griffons from Summerset as flying mounts.
Global Auction House: Currently, sales between players occur through special trading guilds that operate stalls in larger cities. While this system is amusing and fits well into a medieval fantasy world, some players would prefer to quickly and easily access goods through a global trading center. User Jessie Vom Beek thinks, “A global auction house would be a dream!”
Additional community ideas: Along with these major topics, there are a few smaller, nice ideas:
Julia Fraunholz wishes for the ability to create a vegetable garden in housing and grow resources for cooking. A “gardening feature”.
Benedikt Spiller would like pets that collect loot for him.
Alyssa Léon has a special request: low-level creatures like skeevers should eventually become “yellow”, meaning not automatically hostile. The forced fights against such tiny creatures annoy her.
Charlotte Schneege enjoys exploring Cyrodiil but has no interest in PvP. She wishes for a “passive mode” like in GTA5.
Diverse players, including Trevor Phillips, wish for an option to visually disable animal companions like twilight swings or bears, as they obstruct visibility in large numbers.
Combat System and Classes
Some users feel the combat system is not challenging enough and should be revised. For example, Alrik Rotbart would like to have the system from New World in ESO:
Then there’s the combat system. Most of the time, players just mash some rotation on the keyboard/controller that hardly changes. I would wish for a combat system that requires more, let’s say, “skill.” I’ve watched many videos about NEW WORLD and find it quite appealing.
Fights should be more dynamic.
Players like Nils Brömer would also like a better distinction between classes within the game:
More class identity. I find that classes play quite similarly overall when comparing stamina characters with stamina characters. This could perhaps be addressed with class-specific weapon skills, but that would be a very far-reaching change.
Other Ideas and Wishes
In addition to these major aspects, there are several other ideas on what should change in ESO.
More Relevance in Crafting: Alrik Rotbart enjoys crafting and wishes for more relevance:
The crafts are too “unimportant.” I find it a shame that craftable sets hardly have any use, except for 4 – 5 exceptions.
You often analyze for months until you learn everything, and I find it unfortunate that more hasn’t been made from that.
Crossplay among Consoles: Pia Lupa and other fans would like crossplay, but only among consoles, as PC players would have advantages due to their addons.
Crafting should be more rewarding.
Just dare to try something new! While most fans want to improve existing elements, user Benjamin Goldberg advocates for a more radical approach. ESO should finally dare to try something and not just stick to the usual formula:
In my humble opinion, Zenimax should dare something with ESO! Become more innovative. Until now, every addon has been praised by the press, but the famous formula has been criticized repeatedly. It’s always the same process; always the same dish.
– 2 new dungeons – 1 new area with a new raid – both are well done story-wise, but not always outstanding – And by the end of the year, another small DLC.
It’s all nice and fun, but it’s not innovative. This is the same problem that FFXIV has. Ultimately, you already know how your gameplay year will look.
What about changes? What if well-known places in the world were completely transformed, factions were broken, and suddenly no longer exist? The status quo would be completely overturned.
Just dare to try something and not always just keep riding the same old horse until it eventually dies.
So much for the community’s opinion. To conclude our article on the desired changes in ESO, we asked YouTuber and ESO streamer Alex0s for his opinion on the topic.
Are new contents really what keep an MMORPG alive? Does it require ray tracing and other new graphic effects as a sales argument?
MMOs remain relevant through their “Games as a Service” status. This means they thrive on regular updates. It often seems that developers prioritize new, paid contents like quest areas, raids, and new sets over enhancing the base game. With ESO, this is not the case.
In past updates, ZeniMax Online Studios has shown how simple “quality of life changes” can significantly improve the gaming experience. They implemented a text search and new filters to simplify inventory management, especially for console players. The new item set collection, which allows for duplicating or restoring set items, was also warmly welcomed by the ESO community.
Thus, future “quality of life changes” could be just what it takes to make ESO the “NextGen MMORPG” hit. Addons like “Dressing Room” or “CombatMetrics” already demonstrate what it takes to keep Tamriel thriving. “Dressing Room” allows for saving different “equipment and skill” setups to be prepared for every opponent.
The possibility of short keys for different equipment is also a topic. “CombatMetrics”, on the other hand, is a damage meter for analyzing damage composition. Both essential addons should find their way into the game in a similar implementation. This could be the key to making ESO more appealing on consoles and especially next-gen consoles for potential MMO players.
For him, it’s not really about large, new contents, but rather about keeping the gaming experience enjoyable with meaningful “quality of life” updates. An opinion shared by many other fans.
But what do you think about the future of ESO? What improvements would you like to see? Let us know in the comments!

In Destiny 2, Guardians are struggling to complete the task of finding 5 Entropic Shards on Europa. We will show you where all 9 hidden objects are located and how to destroy them.
This is the task: Once you have completed the regular story campaign of Destiny 2: Beyond Light, the new location Europa is far from safe. You will need to accomplish quite a bit for the Exo Stranger and assist her in the mission “Born in Darkness” – but you’ll also receive great rewards for it.
A task that many Guardians struggle with is the quest “Aspect of Control”.
You need to find and destroy small pyramids of Darkness on Europa.
This is also important to enhance your new Stasis abilities. Only this way can you unlock your first Aspect.
Please note: In order to successfully complete the quest, you need the new Exotic “Griff der Erlösung”. How to unlock the Stasis weapon is explained in this guide by MeinMMO:
Quickly find Entropic Shards on Europa in the video
What you need to know about the quest: The Exo Stranger asks you to destroy 5 Entropic Shards.
There are a total of 9 on the DLC location Europa. If you only want to complete the quest “Aspects of Control,” you do not need to search for all of them. However, if you are a title hunter or triumph collector, you need all 9.
An Entropic Shard on Europa
There are 2 problems with this:
The shards are not found on the map or marked by a quest marker. There can also be snowstorms on Europa that can obscure your view completely.
As mentioned initially, you need the new Exotic “Griff der Erlösung”; otherwise, you cannot destroy the objects – make sure you have enough power ammo with you.
This is the video: The YouTube Ninja Pups has gone through the trouble of showing all 9 locations in the video. We provide timestamps and an image of the area to help you easily find the Entropic Shards you still need.

3. Entropic Shard: Cadmus Ridge before the Bray Exo Research (3:09 minute)
Just before the entrance to the research facility “Bray Exo Research,” you will find the shard on an ice wall to the right.
4. Entropic Shard: Lost Sector “Bunker W15” in Eventide Ruins (3:45 minute)
Follow the course of the Lost Sector until you reach a large, open room. Look up and to the right corner next to the window, in the direction you came from.
5. Entropic Shard: Eventide Ruins open field (4:36 minute)
Near shard 4, you will find a destroyed construct of steel beams on open field – look up from below and see the sought object to the right.
6. Entropic Shard: Stormguard after “RIIS Reborn Access” (5:04 minute)
Leave the Eventide Ruins and cross the area “RIIS Reborn Access” until you arrive at “Stormguard”. Right after the elevator, look behind the first steps.
7. Entropic Shard: “Kell Ascend” after “Stormguard” (6:18 minute)
Start in “Stormguard“ where you found shard 6. Then continue the path uphill to a teleporter. Choose the right path later and enter the area “Kell Ascend”. Traverse the entire area until you find your target under a small staircase on the roof at the end.
Unfortunately, a picture of the static map is hardly helpful here, we recommend watching the video above.
You will find it on this roof in the area “Kell Ascend”
8. Entropic Shard: “Iron of the Technocrat” after “Stormguard” (7:39 minute)
Again, start in “Stormguard” where you found shard 6. After the teleporter, this time go left, into the area “Iron of the Technocrat”. Traverse the entire area until you reach the coliseum (boss room). Look up at the column in the circular room on the right; here is the shard.
Again, it is difficult to convey the overview due to the static map, so it is better to watch the video.
9. Entropic Shard: “Creation” in Bray Exo Research (9:07 minute)
Update: You can now reach the 9th shard normally. Head from the large Exo head, which you can find in the area “Creation” of Bray Exo Research. You will have a long walk ahead.
You can find the entire path in this video by Nexxoss Gaming starting at minute 2:50:

MeinMMO will extensively cover the release of Destiny 2: Beyond Light and you will find daily news, guides, and more about the new DLC and Destiny 2 here.
The new DualSense controller of the PS5 features a built-in microphone. This is super convenient if you don’t have a compatible headset and want to communicate with others. However, it is enabled by default, which can lead to unpleasant situations in multiplayer. We at MeinMMO reveal how to easily turn it off.
What’s going on? The PS5 is being released today, November 12, in the first countries, while we in Germany have to wait another week. Some testers were able to try out the next-gen console and came across an interesting detail.
As it turns out, the microphone on the new DualSense controller is always enabled by default. Anyone who doesn’t know this might accidentally transmit sounds from their living room or bedroom, or the insults from other players, for everyone to hear.
How do you disable the microphone? Fortunately, the microphone can be easily disabled. There is a small button near the microphone that you simply have to press. An orange light will indicate that it is no longer active.
A close-up of the microphone and the mute button (Image source: Slashgear).
Continuously activated microphone is an invitation for disaster
Why is the situation so problematic? The issue was pointed out by editor Chandler Wood, who writes for PlayStation LifeStyle. He reportedly transmitted a conversation with his wife to all players:

As Wood describes in an article, during the waiting period in a multiplayer lobby, he received a call from the organization Fnatic, advising him to quickly turn off his microphone, as the entire lobby could hear his conversation.
What sounds funny at first can turn into a disaster, especially when discussing private matters that are none of everyone’s business.
Moreover, multiplayer lobbies with dozens of players, all of whom have their microphones active, are hard to tolerate. Therefore, for the sake of yourself and your fellow players, you should rather disable the microphone.
In the Roblox community, the “Oof” sound is considered legendary. However, it had to be removed for legal reasons. Now it is returning, but players will have to pay for it.
The sound, which was first heard in 2005, was initially not well received by fans—it sounded more funny than like a death scream.
However, in 2016, the YouTuber Whimee uploaded videos featuring the Oof sound that went viral. As a result, the sound effect became something that is inseparably linked to Roblox. The Oof sound became iconic and legendary, spawning tons of memes and funny videos—especially the music remixes are very popular within the community.
You can listen to an example of it here:

Why was it removed from the game?Tommy Tallarico, a composer and head of Intellivision Entertainment, noted that the Oof sound actually comes from him. He created it in 2000 for his game Messiah. It only appeared in Roblox in 2005.
A legal dispute followed, as a result of which Oof had to be removed from Roblox.
How is the sound returning now? At the end of the month, the Roblox Corporation will bring the sound back. The company was able to reach an agreement with Tommy Tallarico. However, players will have to purchase the sound if they want to use it again. It costs 100 Robux, which is approximately 1 US dollar.

Soon you can make new videos with the Oof meme again.
Tommy Tallarico will also create four exclusive sound packs for Roblox, which players can purchase for prices between 10 and 250 US dollars and then incorporate into their own game creations. Additionally, he plans to offer Oof merchandise through the Roblox store on Amazon.
Tallarico explains that the agreement he reached with the Roblox Corporation supports his company and the launch of the new Intellivision console.
What is Roblox anyway? Roblox is one of the most successful games with over 100 million active players monthly (via Wikipedia). It is actually more of a toolbox through which users can create their own games and share them with others. The worlds are built with Lego-like building blocks, and when programming, the scripting language Lua is used, which is very easy to handle.
After the update in GTA Online, which marks the beginning of a new bonus week, players notice that something is happening in the game. Construction is happening again at the casino. Is this the start of the biggest update that Rockstar promised?
What is different in GTA Online now? Today, on November 12, a new bonus week has launched in GTA Online with a small update. But instead of just discovering the new discounts and bonuses, players found out that construction is now happening at the Diamond Casino.
Update 5:00 PM:The GTA bonuses are here. In addition to a large bonus, there is also a massive community challenge that players are supposed to complete together. Again, a lot is revolving around heists and the Diamond Casino.
The data miner Tez2 shared images and a message from “Tom Connors” pointing to the renovation of the casino. He shared it on Twitter:

In the back area of the casino, there are now building materials and an entrance has been secured and equipped with warning signs. It seems that the construction work is already in full swing or is about to start.
Although Rockstar has not yet set a fixed date for the DLC, a release soon seems likely. The year 2020 ends in just two months, so there isn’t much time left for the release.
What they have already revealed about the biggest update: There will be a completely new location that will also be associated with a new heist. The heists are even expected to come in a new form that Rockstar has come up with.
This is what players say about the construction work: After this discovery, players seem curious about what lies behind it. After all, we are all eagerly waiting for the biggest update of all time that Rockstar has promised.
But some players are skeptical, wondering why construction is taking place at the casino when it was said that there would be a completely new location with a heist for the DLC. They say on Twitter under Tez2’s post:
“Oh no, they are expanding the casino. This will be the whole ‘new location’.”
“They (Rockstar) said there would be a completely new location, but if they only expand the casino, it will be one of the smallest updates.”
“Please don’t tell me that your biggest update is just an expansion of the casino.”
“If it really turns out to be just another casino DLC, remember that they (Rockstar) set the expectations high with ‘the biggest update.'”
It seems players have high expectations for the next DLC after Rockstar itself announced it as “the biggest update of all time.” It could also be that preparations are simply being made, and after that, even bigger changes will become noticeable.
We will probably have to wait and see how this develops in the coming weeks. MeinMMO author Patrick Freese will also wait until the next big update is available, until then he has said goodbye to GTA Online.

The dandelion seeds (engl. Dandelion Seeds) are an important material in Genshin Impact to help a certain character ascend, use alchemy, and complete quests. Dandelions are easy to find, but collecting them can be more difficult. We at MeinMMO will tell you what you need to know about the material.
Here you can find dandelion: Dandelion is a regional specialty of Mondstadt. However, you can find it in many places in the region. So finding dandelion won’t pose a big challenge.
Collecting, on the other hand, is a bit more difficult. Dandelion is a special plant because when you have found it, there is no command to collect it on the screen.
Dandelion on the map: We have put together a map with some spots for collecting dandelion:
The red circles mark the positions of dandelions.
Dandelion Seeds for Characters, Crafting, and Quests
What do you need dandelion seeds for? The seeds of the plant have various applications in the game:
The character Jean needs the dandelion seeds to ascend.
In alchemy, you need the seeds for potions and gadgets related to the Anemo element.
Dandelion seeds belong to a world quest with Flora in Mondstadt.
They can be required for daily tasks.
They count towards the weekly task of collecting 100 Mondstadt specialties.
As you can see, dandelion seeds have a wide range of tasks in the game.
With Patch 1.1, a new material was also introduced: the Enriched Resin. You can create it through alchemy, and it brings some benefits. We at MeinMMO will tell you everything important about it here:
The quest “Strange Scourgestones” poses some WoW players with problems. We explain what the Black Scourgestones are all about.
The pre-event for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is currently starting. The first set of quests is available and presents some players with challenges. Upon arriving in Icecrown, there is the mission “Strange Scourgestones”, which does not have a clearly defined objective. We explain how to complete the quest and what you need to pay attention to.
How does the quest work? The quest “Strange Scourgestones” in Icecrown wants you to collect “Black Scourgestones” and “Darkened Scourgestones”. You can obtain these from pretty much all enemies in Icecrown that belong to the undead.
Darkened Scourgestones can be dropped by all servants of the Scourge in Icecrown. You can simply farm them by continuously killing enemies.
Black Scourgestones are rarer, dropping in large quantities from various rare mobs. Individual ones sometimes drop from regular enemies.
Simply farm the undead – they will drop enough Scourgestones for “Strange Scourgestones” sooner or later.
This is how quest progression works: The quest Strange Scourgestones works a bit differently than quests in WoW usually do. The quest does not require you to collect a specific number of stones, but has a progress bar. If this progress bar is not displayed, interface addons may be to blame. But relogging can also help in displaying the progress bar.
The progress of the quest is also rather untypical. You fill the 100 % this way:
Every time you loot Darkened Scourgestones, progress increases by 10 %.
It is important that the amount of looted Scourgestones does not matter! For example, if you loot 30 Black Scourgestones at once from a rare enemy, it only counts as “looted once” for the quest – the bar would only fill by 20%. Thus, you need to gather the Scourgestones in multiple looting actions.
Also important: Scourgestones collected before accepting the quest do not count towards the progress. Only Scourgestones that go into the inventory after accepting the quest are counted.
If you are interested in more about the pre-event of Shadowlands, check out these articles:
What does the quest bring? The quest Strange Scourgestones rewards you with 5 Argentum commendations every day. You can exchange these for various rewards directly next to the quest giver. These include special pets, an enchanted broom, or a nice armor set, which is especially worthwhile for second characters or transmog collectors.
The Xbox Series X and the PS5 support 4K, as well as 120 Hz at lower resolutions. However, to fully enjoy this, you need a suitable monitor. What you need to consider when purchasing and which screens are suitable, MeinMMO presents here.
The new next-gen consoles offer significantly more performance than the previous consoles, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. This means you can play not only at much higher resolutions, but also enjoy significantly higher frame rates.
For gamers, a high refresh rate is especially important. Higher refresh rates make games run smoother. Latency also decreases, giving gamers a significant advantage especially in competitive gaming.
First, we will explain what you need to consider when buying a monitor or TV. If you are not interested in the explanations, you can go directly to the featured monitors.
[toc]
What You Need to Consider When Buying a Monitor
Gaming Monitors and HDMI 2.1: Many gaming monitors (still) do not support HDMI 2.1. However, many manufacturers such as Acer, Asus, and Samsung have already announced devices that will also offer HDMI 2.1 starting in 2021.
What Does HDMI 2.1 Offer? HDMI 2.1 mainly offers significantly higher data rates and various functions that are interesting for gamers. These include higher, variable frame rates and low latency, which are important for gamers.
What HDMI 2.1 means for next-gen consoles has been explained extensively here:
HDMI 2.0 and Gaming: With HDMI 2.0, you can play at 120 Hz even at 1440p, but only 60 Hz is available for 4K. Many modern titles like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will not offer 120 Hz at 4K at launch anyway.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla currently supports only 60 FPS at 4K resolution on the Xbox Series X and upscaled 4K with 60 FPS on the PS5 (via 4players.de). Watch Dogs: Legion will also run only at 60 FPS at 4K on the next-gen consoles (via wccftech.com). The MMO shooter Destiny 2 also offers only 60 FPS in 4K.
What is DisplayHDR? DisplayHDR is a certification that indicates how high the brightness of the screen is. This seal is intended to show buyers that the respective device can also display HDR content. Currently, there are three levels: DisplayHDR 400, DisplayHDR 600, and DisplayHDR 1000.
What is VRR? Variable Refresh Rate or VRR is a function provided by HDMI 2.1 and is also offered by FreeSync and G-Sync. This allows the console to adjust its refresh rate between 30 Hz and 144 Hz freely, thus avoiding disturbances known as screen tearing. Screen tearing occurs when the device’s signal does not match the output device’s frequency, resulting in “tearing of the image.”
Buying a Gaming Monitor for Xbox or PS5 with 4K: If you want to buy a gaming monitor, you have three options:
You can either wait for gaming monitors that support HDMI 2.1, which will take until 2021.
Or you buy a 4K monitor that at least supports HDMI 2.0, so you can either play natively at 4K with 60 FPS or at lower resolutions with correspondingly higher FPS. With HDMI 2.0 you can also enjoy games at 1440p with high frame rates up to 120 Hz.
Alternatively, you can go directly for a TV set, where some devices already support the latest standard.
Recommended 4K Gaming Monitors for PS5 / Xbox Series X
What Are We Presenting? Below, we will present several gaming monitors that support 4K and at least HDMI 2.0. This way, you can play at high settings and at least in Full HD and WQHD with 120 Hz.
As soon as the first gaming monitors with HDMI 2.1 are released, we will update our article for you.
Asus ROG Strix XG438Q (43 inches)
What the Monitor Offers: The ROG Strix XG438Q is a 43-inch device that offers 4K and 120 Hz. FreeSync is responsible for synchronizing the frame rate. However, the screen only offers HDMI 2.0. If you are playing at lower resolutions than 4K, you can still use 120 Hz here.
The gaming monitor offers a lot of features that you need as a gamer. These include FreeSync, which avoids image disturbance, ShadowBoost, which allows you to brighten individual areas of the image to see opponents, or GameFast, which aims to minimize latency. The picture quality is also successful. The illumination is somewhat weak.
PCMag states in its conclusion: “If a TV or a Nvidia ‘Big Format Gaming Display’ is too large for your games, but a normal monitor is too small, then the 43-inch Asus ROG Strix XG438Q is a desirable alternative for serious gamers. It is not cheap, but its panel is agile and striking.”

LG 27UK650-W (27 inches)
What the Monitor Offers: The device offers you high contrasts and an RGB color space with HDR 10. Additionally, it has a fast response time that is interesting for gamers.
The monitor only offers “60 Hz”, but for those who play continuously at 4K, 60 Hz should be sufficient. Because maintaining a stable frame rate at 4K is also a feat.
The screen supports FreeSync, but is also G-Sync compatible. Therefore, if you are using a Nvidia graphics card (GTX 10 series or newer), you can also use the monitor. According to Rtings.com, however, the HDR performance is only mediocre. Testers give the device a gaming score of 7.8/10.

Recommended WQHD Monitors for Xbox Series X|S
The Xbox Series X|S supports WQHD resolutions, unlike the PlayStation 5. MeinMMO presents to you the ASUS TUF VG27AQ, the Samsung Odyssey G7, and the LG 32GK650F-B.
All the devices presented offer you a WQHD resolution, a fast refresh rate of at least 120 Hz, good response times and additional benefits such as support for FreeSync or G-Sync.
You can find more hardware around PS5 and Xbox Series X in our articles:
What the Monitor Offers: The Asus monitor offers you a low response time (1ms), good viewing angles, and a pleasant size. According to Techspot, it is a “good monitor with some excellent features and other capabilities.” This includes Asus’s proprietary Extreme-Low-Motion-Blur-Sync technology (ELMB-Sync), which offers you particularly fast response times.
The downside is that the brightness of the screen cannot be set particularly high and deep black does not look good on the device.
Oops, unfortunately this affiliate widget is no longer available.
Samsung Odyssey G7
What the Monitor Offers: The Samsung Odyssey G7 is considered by Rtings.com as one of the best gaming monitors for Xbox Series X at a resolution of 1440p.
This is not only due to its size of 32 inches but also to its fast refresh rate of 240 Hz. The picture quality is also high and offers a pleasant contrast. The device provides strong gaming performance with low response time (1ms) and supports both G-Sync and FreeSync.
According to Rtings.com, the HDR performance and viewing angles of the device are less convincing when viewed at an angle.
Oops, unfortunately this affiliate widget is no longer available.
LG 32GK650F-B (31.5 inches)
What the Monitor Offers: The LG 32GK650F-B is a gaming monitor that offers a VA panel with deep black colors. It delivers strong performance especially in dark rooms and is well protected against reflections. Additionally, the monitor supports FreeSync, which offers VRR.
According to Techspot, it concludes that “For the price, LG does not present any glaring errors and offers the best value for 1440p gaming. The 32GK650F is easy to recommend.”
The downside is the poor viewing angles of the screen. Depending on how you look at the display, the image may appear slightly worse.
Oops, unfortunately this affiliate widget is no longer available.
Best 4K TV for PS5 and Xbox Series X: LG CX OLED
What the TV Device Offers: The CX OLED series from LG offers extensive features and excellent picture quality – whether you want to play games or watch movies on the TV. Light reflections that hit the screen are hardly noticeable.
Thanks to FreeSync and G-Sync support and a 120 Hz refresh rate, gamers also get a smooth and responsive image. The testers from Rtings.com give the TV a very good rating for movies (9.3/10) and gaming (9.1/10).
Oops, unfortunately this affiliate widget is no longer available.
Alternative: Best LED 4K TV with HDMI 2.1: Samsung Q80T
What the TV Device Offers: Similar to the LG CX, the Samsung TV device also offers excellent contrasts and HDR colors. The 120 Hz refresh rate and support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) is something gamers will especially appreciate. This allows your console to control the refresh rate in conjunction with the monitor, which benefits a smoother image.
The device also supports HDMI 2.1. Some testers criticize that the device looks quite dark at the edges.
The Samsung Q80T also offers a good price-performance ratio starting at 1,250 Euros.

Gaming Monitors 2021: What the Future Offers
Some manufacturers are currently preparing gaming monitors for 4K resolutions. These include, among others:
Philips Momentum 328M1R: The monitor is expected to come in early 2021 and offers DisplayHDR 600 (brightness), an integrated sound system, and a response time of 4 ms. It also features HDMI 2.1 and FreeSync support.
Acer Predator XB323QK: The monitor is expected to be available in late 2020/early 2021 and should offer “RGB LightSense” dynamic lighting effects. In addition, the device offers G-Sync, multiple HDMI ports, a USB-C port, and a USB 3.0 hub.
Viewsonic Elite XG320U: The monitor offers 32 inches with 144 Hz and is certified with DisplayHDR 600. It also supports FreeSync. Furthermore, the device features HDMI 2.1. The Elite XG230U is expected to start in early 2021 at a price of around 1,000 Euros.
Acer XV282K: Acer has announced a monitor that offers HDMI 2.1, 144 Hz, and 4K resolution. The IPS panel offers DisplayHDR 600 and built-in speakers. The monitor is officially available from January 2021. Additionally, the device supports a variable refresh rate (VRR) from 48 to 144 Hz.
ASUS ROG “HDMI-2.1 Monitors”: Asus also presented new gaming monitors with HDMI 2.1 certification at the end of August. These should offer HDMI 2.1, provide 4K at up to 120 Hz, and also become available at the end of 2020 or early 2021.
This means that in the future there will be several new and powerful devices on the market that can also handle the corresponding resolutions.

How are other players reacting? The image of the FedEx package has also made its way onto reddit and social media. In the Xbox Series X subreddit, the thread has received 2323 upvotes and 278 comments (as of November 12, 2020, 11:00 AM).
While some responded to the message with “UPS is better than FedEx” to take a small jab at the delivery service, others took it in stride. Reddit user gated73 wrote:

So if you are looking for the Entropic Shards on Europa and want to master the quest “Aspect of Control” at the Exo Stranger, you’ll need the new Stasis launcher.
Master the quest “The Stasis Prototype” in Destiny 2 Beyond Light
Are there any special requirements? Yes, to obtain the new exotic and to find the quest “The Stasis Protocol”, you must first complete the story of Beyond Light. This can only be done by owners of the new expansion.
So play through the campaign on Europa until you need to visit Zavala in the Tower. Once you fly into orbit, the post-story begins and various NPCs will present themselves wanting something from you.
This is how you start the quest: Visit the Drifter in the Tower. You’ll find him in the “Gambling” area which even has its own landing zone.
Important Tip: Accept the quest “Recapture Europa” from Variks in parallel because
the two tasks overlap
this will save you a lot of time
Simply complete the smaller tasks from Variks while you are in Europa and working on your exotic Stasis launcher. They are all marked by quest markers or consist of simple collection and kill tasks.
Clever Guardians handle both the Drifter and Variks at the same time
Step 1: Collect kills on Europa for the Grasp of Salvation
The Drifter will send you back to Europa. Here you need to take out certain enemies:
Defeat 10 Fallen Captains on Europa – these are the teleporting Fallen with a shield
Defeat 10 Servitors on Europa – these are the large floating orb enemies that give shields to others
Step 2: Complete “Recapture Europa”,”The Dark Priestess,” and “Fall of the Empire”
As announced, the tasks of Variks and the Drifter now overlap. To continue your Exo quest, you must first assist in the Recapture of Europa. Complete the three above-mentioned missions.
Then your quest “Stasis Prototype” will finally proceed. Here you need to defeat Stasis-infected enemies. This means for you:
Defeat enemies directly with Stasis or freeze them and finish them off
Tip: The task does not have to be completed on Europa. For quick progress, visit the Blind Well in the Dreaming City or participate in public events – take the flag there at the start to fill all abilities

Grasp of Salvation – What can the Stasis Exotic do?
The reward for your efforts: “Grasp of Salvation” is a heavy grenade launcher and therefore requires power ammo. The exotic fires at a rate of 120, slower than its exotic cousin Anarchy, but has a better magazine size of 8.
What’s special about Grasp of Salvation is that it possesses the new Stasis element. Additionally, it has the following two exotic perks:
Cryo Cannon: The projectiles of these weapons create Stasis crystals and freeze nearby targets. You can hold down the trigger to charge the weapon
Flash Freeze: Charging this weapon increases the freeze radius and the number of Stasis crystals created.
Grasp of Salvation is your Stasis Super in pocket format
You do not fire regular explosives, but have the new Stasis super equipped in the power weapon slot. You also need the weapon to destroy some quest items on Europa.

More and more streamers are being banned on Twitch. The reason is copyright allegations from the music industry. Now, there has been a statement from Twitch regarding this, in which the streaming service admits some serious oversights.
What is the situation? Currently, streamers are being banned due to copyright complaints from the music industry. The reason is usually music playing in the background of the stream for which the streamer does not have rights. Twitch is then contacted by the rights holders and has to deal with bans against the violations.
Several well-known streamers, including Voyboy or Papaplatte, have been banned for such reasons.
To avoid penalties, many streamers have had to delete their entire library of clips. This equates to the destruction of a life’s work. However, even such measures were sometimes not enough, as bans were still issued for already deleted clips.
All these issues have led to great dissatisfaction among streamers, and there is anger towards Twitch, as this tweet summarizes well:

It is insane that Twitch informs partners that they have deleted their content – and that there are more pieces of content that violate the guidelines, even though there is NO identification system to find out what it is. Their solution to the DMCA issue is for creators to delete their life’s work. This is pure gross negligence.
Now, there has finally been an official statement from Twitch in which the company admits some serious mistakes.
Twitch was taken by surprise
This is what Twitch says: In a lengthy blog post, Twitch explains the situation and admits what they could have done better:
We have heard your feedback about how frustratingly little information we have provided, and we should have made this warning email much more informative and helpful.
In recent months, we have done our best to address this situation on behalf of both the rights holders and the creators. One of the mistakes we made was that we did not develop adequate tools that would allow creators to manage their own VOD and clip libraries. You are rightly upset that the only option we provided was a tool for mass deletion of clips, and that we only notified you three days in advance that you could use this tool.
We could have developed more sophisticated, user-friendly tools quite some time ago. The fact that we did not is our fault; that is on us. And we could have given creators a longer period to adjust their VOD and clip libraries – that too was a failure. We sincerely apologize for these mistakes, and we will do better.
This is supposed to improve: Currently, Twitch is working intensively on methods and opportunities to avoid such situations in the future.
Finer methods to find and delete clips with copyright content, rather than just simply “delete everything“.
Control over which audio data from your live stream can ultimately be found in the saved clip.
Direct insight into the copyright complaint for streamers, including info on what exactly it is about, who is complaining, and why. This way, streamers can justify themselves directly and possibly resolve the situation themselves.
What should streamers do now? Until all these measures are implemented, it will still take a while. Therefore, Twitch currently advises the following measures to avoid further trouble and bans:
Currently, it is best not to use any music in streams unless you own the rights to it.
If you want to play music, use services that hold the copyrights, including Soundtrack by Twitch or music libraries such as Soundstripe, Monstercat Gold, Chillhop, Epidemic Sound, and NCS.
How is this received by streamers? Streamers are not happy about the situation and that Twitch seemingly took the problem lightly in the past and still has no tangible solutions months after the first statement on the issue in June. The fact that streamers had to delete their works and are now given the advice “just don’t stream music” annoys many.
User Dry DesertPogona summarizes it well:

I just don’t understand why the site has to almost explode for you to be motivated to communicate with us and to say that you MUST develop tools soon. Lately, I worry less about whether I will still be here in the future, and more about whether Twitch will still be here in the future.
This is also not the first time you have waited for the pot to boil over. You cannot simply ignore, minimize, and sweep these problems under the rug and hope they will go away.
Too much damage has been done for you to simply talk your way out of it.
The current bans due to copyright violations do not only concern music rights. In a particularly bizarre case, it involves the virtual streamer “Project Melody”. She uses a virtual avatar for which she allegedly does not have the rights. Therefore, the alleged creator claims “your body belongs to me!“

Players have been calling for an update for the Rocket Balloons in Pokémon GO for a long time. So far, there have been no items as rewards, unlike battles at PokéStops. But for some selected trainers, this seems to have changed.
What’s going on with the balloons? The user BufoAmoris created a reddit thread where they report additional rewards for defeating a Rocket Grunt.
The Rocket Balloon they challenged provided the trainer with 15 Pokéballs as an additional reward.

Does everyone get the new reward? The Pokéballs for defeating a Rocket Balloon seem to be available only for selected players. In the thread, many players report not receiving any additional rewards.
The region does not seem to play a role. BufoAmoris is from the USA and another player who received Pokéballs is from the Australian time zone.
On the other hand, players from the USA, Canada, and Australia also reported not receiving the additional reward.
Rocket Balloons could become mobile PokéStops
Why is this so interesting? Trainers have been wishing for the Rocket Balloons to function as a kind of mobile PokéStop for a long time. So far, the random battles against Grunts or bosses have not been worthwhile for many.
At least the issue with the missing item rewards seems to be addressed now.
What are the initial reactions? The reddit user jedispyder is happy about the additional balls and especially about their large number:
That corresponds to spinning 5 stops (since I only seem to get 3 balls per normal stop). That’s pretty good news.
Many other users on reddit view the adjustment positively. However, there are also a few players who actually have too many balls and are discarding them.
This is what the balloons look like in the game. By clicking on them, you can then battle them.
Balloons as mobile PokéStops? While many are excited about the new rewards, the user erto66 is a bit more reserved. For him, it would be important that the balloons not only provide rewards but also count for daily spins:
I think players who want them to function like one-time PokéStops are also hoping for daily spins. Of course, we could all use more items, especially Pokéballs.
But there are people who cannot go outside at the moment, and that means they have no chance to spin 7 stops in a row. An important game mechanic for obtaining evolution items, for example.
Whether the balloons will actually be changed to function as PokéStops remains open for now.
In addition to the adjustments to the balloons, Niantic is currently also working on experience points. The new system primarily brings more XP for great throws:
In the MMORPG Albion Online, 604 players were banned. These players had purchased the in-game currency Silver from third parties.
What led to this ban? The developers explain that they had to ban 604 accounts of the currently very successful MMORPG Albion Online because these accounts had purchased in-game currency Silver from third parties. This is prohibited according to the terms of use.
In most cases, these purchases were said to have been made using stolen credit card information. The developers discovered this because the payments did not go through, and the studio was then hit with refund requests.
It is actually not necessary to buy Silver, as this video shows:

There are other ways to legally obtain Silver. In this video, you will find 10 tips.
Did the right ones get caught?
What is the problem with purchasing Silver? According to the developers, buying in-game currency from third parties harms the studio. After all, the studio also sells Gold as premium currency, which you can then exchange for Silver in the game. This way, the studio earns revenue from those sales. This revenue is then used to further develop the MMORPG Albion Online.
Additionally, the studio wants to protect the in-game economy. This can only be done if an overview of the Silver sales is available.
How are players reacting to this? Generally, the community welcomes the actions taken against individuals who violate the terms of use. After all, fairness must be maintained.
In the case of these bans, however, there are now calls in the official Albion Online forum for the publication of the players’ names. There is a specific reason for this. Some in the community believe that those who bought Silver from third parties are alternative accounts. If these are banned, it does not really affect the “main players” who continue to play with their regular accounts.
Moreover, some are also somewhat annoyed that the biggest RMT players, i.e., the real-money traders, are still roaming the game unhindered. There is a sentiment that harsher measures need to be taken to also ban the “real” offenders.
What is the use of Silver anyway? Silver is the currency in the game that you can use to buy items on the marketplace, for example.
In the data from Destiny 2, observant fans discovered a new, completely unknown weapon exotic after the launch of Beyond Light. Some see parallels to an iconic weapon from Destiny 1, the rocket launcher Gjallarhorn.
Where does the information come from? A few days ago, Destiny 2 launched with the new expansion Beyond Light and the new Season 12 into its now 4th year. With that, various new content has been introduced to the game – including new exotics.
Bungie likely already showcased most of the exotic novelties in the exotic trailer. However, after the new content went live with Update 3.0.0.1, an exotic weapon was discovered in the databases of Destiny 2 that had not been seen in any trailers or promotional material.
A mix of Gjallarhorn and Wardcliff Coil
This is the new Exotic: It is a rocket launcher, thus a power weapon. It is called “Eyes of Tomorrow” and comes in a futuristic look that fits well with all the high-tech facilities of Clovis Bray on the new location Europa.
This new weapon can do: The exotic perk is called “Everything in Sight”. With this, the rocket launcher can track and fire at multiple targets simultaneously.
This is complemented by another special perk – namely “Adaptive Munitions”. When you eliminate 4 or more combatants with a single salvo, the damage of the next salvo increases.
Furthermore, data already indicates that this new exotic will receive a masterwork catalyst. However, what this actually does is currently unknown.
This is what players are saying about this weapon: Many are curious and skeptical at the same time. On one hand, this weapon reminds some of the infamous Gjallarhorn from Destiny 1, which unleashed a whole salvo of its homing Wolfpack rockets after impact.
The Gjallarhorn from Destiny 1
As Bungie does not intend to bring back the Gjallarhorn, they think that in this way, they could at least get a comparable, nostalgia-infused weapon.
For many, the new exotic shows strong similarities to the Wardcliff Coil – also an exotic rocket launcher. The coil also fires volleys of rockets with light homing capabilities.
Many players see “Eyes of Tomorrow” as a mix of Gjallarhorn and the coil – practically their baby. For some, there’s even a slight touch of Truth – also an exotic rocket launcher with distinctive, aggressive homing. Some are already hooked on this mix and are very curious about how the weapon will ultimately perform in practice.
The Wardcliff Coil
On the other hand, some are skeptical whether Bungie is really producing a strong weapon here. Some fear, for example, that the damage of individual projectiles may be low, so that the weapon will not be as overpowered as the Gjallarhorn once was – especially against single targets.
Is this the reward from the new raid?
This supports the theory: The prevailing opinion is that this weapon will be the raid exotic from the new raid in the Deep Stone Crypt.
The rocket launcher is not visibly tied to a quest; all “regular” exotics have likely been introduced by Bungie by now. The exotic weapon from the season pass has already been released as the shotgun Duality, and the iconic hand cannon Hawkmoon will be brought into the game through a quest during Season 12. There are not many more options than the raid.
Furthermore, this weapon is connected to Clovis Bray and the BrayTech company, which is now focused on the new expansion and has an important base on Europa. The Deep Stone Crypt appears to be a secret research facility of BrayTech. Therefore, there are indications that “Eyes of Tomorrow” could indeed be the exotic reward from the new raid.
