What is it about? In line with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, there are some new operators in the game for you again. A few of them are unlocked right away, for the majority you will have to complete tasks. We show you every operator and the task you need to complete for them. Right from the start, there are 13 operators available for you.
What do operators bring? Unlocking the different characters also allows you to use them when playing online. Each of them has their own unique backstory and various cosmetic customization options.
Especially if you have been a Call of Duty player for a long time, some faces from the older parts of the franchise may be familiar to you.
By the way: Operators do not provide advantages in gameplay. They are purely cosmetic differences between the characters.

In League of Legends, some of the top coaches are changing their teams. The struggling T1 around superstar Faker has now secured the coaching duo from the world champions DAMWON Gaming. DAMWON, in turn, has brought in kkoma, the coach who made T1 world champion three times.
This is what has been happening with T1 lately: The legendary LoL team that became world champion in LoL in 2013, 2015, and 2016 has recently been in a crisis:
In 2020, the new coach Kim temporarily benched Faker and received death threats for it. Overall, 2020 was just mediocre, and T1 missed the Worlds – coach Kim subsequently left.
Fans were furious when rumors surfaced that T1 would hire a Starcraft player and an American as new personnel. Fans demanded that T1 should rather hire “experienced LoL coaches.” The fans even rented a truck to express their concerns to T1’s management.

World Champion Duo Switches to T1
These are the new coaches for T1 now: T1 has finally announced who they have hired as coaches:
Yang “Daeny” Dae-in will be the new head coach; he previously worked at DAMWON Gaming and made them world champions.
Lee “Zefa” Jae-min will be the new coach; he was previously the head coach at DAMWON Gaming and had worked at SKT1 before.
The two will exchange their positions: At DAMWON, Zefa was the boss; at T1, it will be Daeny.
He will be the new head coach and master strategist: Daeny.
It is said that the position change came at Zefa’s request, as he prefers to be a coach rather than a head coach. Daeny now has the task of rebuilding the “dynasty”; he will have full authority to choose players and set the strategy.
Zefa expresses how happy he is to be back at T1. He admits that “he received a good offer”, but what is more important to him is rebuilding the dynasty around T1.
Zefa was previously at T1 in 2018 and 2019.
The two are likely the best you can buy for money in current LoL. Success proves them right. DAMWON played an outstanding Worlds in 2020, and at no point did it seem like they were faltering or struggling.
They first dominated the LCK in summer with a 16-2 record, then wiped out their opponents from DRX in the LCK playoffs with a 3-0, and at Worlds, they were similarly unstoppable. The European top team G2 had no chance against DAMWON, and DAMWON brought the world championship title back to Korea after it had gone to China in 2018 and 2019.
The Starcraft coach previously mentioned actually comes on board as General Manager.
However, there is no mention of the American coach Nick “LS” De Cesare. Rumors suggest he might still join T1 as an analyst – or not at all.
Interestingly, Bae “Bengi” Seong-woong is returning to T1. He was the jungler in the legendary team that made Faker a three-time world champion. He will now coach T1’s academy team.
Considered one of the best junglers of all time: Bengi coaches the youth.

What is DAMWON doing now? The world champions from Korea are losing their coaching duo and, in return, hiring kkoma, the legendary world champion trainer from T1.
This is an action straight out of one of those anime where former characters return in new seasons, but in different roles.
Let’s see what he comes up with for DAMWON.
It seems that if Faker really wants to become world champion for the fourth time, he must go past his old coach, who has Showmaker, Nuguri, and Canyon, three of the best LoL players in his team.
This could be challenging.
He has an incredible story behind him.
Coaches in LoL are mostly not in the spotlight for fans. They set the strategy and determine which player plays which champ. But usually, they tend to stay in the background. One coach from Korea has been more famous than his players in recent years – cvMax.

Do you prefer action-packed MOBAs like SMITE? Then the new Kingshunt might be interesting for you. Soon you will get to try it out.
What is Kingshunt? The game is officially referred to as an online multiplayer action game played from a third-person perspective, combining tower defense mechanics with hack and slash combat.
The trailer strongly resembles the MOBA SMITE, but with a significantly darker atmosphere. PvP battles are at the center, where two teams consisting of 5 players each face off against each other. The video shows how it goes down:

What is special about the game? The developers want the battles to be action-packed yet tactical. You are actively attacking like in a hack and slash game, but you need to coordinate your attacks. For example, it is important to watch when the opponent drops cover to attack immediately. Additionally, it is essential to use special abilities strategically, as they significantly influence the outcome of a battle.

Additionally, elements from tower defense games come into play. In the first phase of the game, you build defensive towers in strategically smart locations. Recently, the new expansion Beyond Light for Destiny 2 has launched. But how is it being received so far? What do the players say? We summarize the mood around Beyond Light after the first few days.
What’s the deal with Beyond Light? Beyond Light is the new expansion for Destiny 2, which started on November 10.
This expansion was highly anticipated, as it brings a new story, fresh gear, a new location, and cool new powers for the Guardians.

What is being praised: Many aspects of the new expansion are well received by the players.
The new Exotics are cool. The ones that have been able to be played so far are well received.
The new Stasis powers offer numerous new possibilities and are a lot of fun – at least in PvE. More on PvP later.

Here comes the criticism: However, there is also criticism – and unfortunately quite a lot of it. At the start, many were still in the honeymoon phase, but as one fights through the new content and spends time in Destiny, many negative points become increasingly evident.
On PC, many players are still complaining about performance issues after release
The effects of sunsetting, i.e., the so-called weapon sunset, are now really noticeable. This made a large part of the previous firearms useless for the new content, yet there is simply too little new to compensate for this circumstance. While it may improve in the future with new gear, many consider the current state untenable.
In general, the diversity of new weapons is criticized. Forsaken reportedly brought 98 legendary/exotic weapons into the game, while Beyond Light has only brought 31 so far.
Apart from armor pieces, there was no update of the vendors, whereby the respective new armors are only reskins of each other.

In general, Destiny 2 currently offers just too little new loot as a looter shooter.
While the new powers are well received in PvE, Stasis breaks PvP and currently ruins the experience entirely for many players.
The Forsaken and Shadowkeep expansions still cost extra, yet essentially all of their gear, except for the raids, has been affected by sunsetting. The gear obtained in regular activities there can no longer be effectively utilized in the new content or pinnacle activities.
Once one is through Beyond Light, many players feel that Destiny 2 currently offers too few content for an action MMO. And while the content is indeed good – for how long will it last?
In short: As good as Beyond Light is in many of its new contents, some design decisions dampen the fun for many and currently overshadow even some of the positive aspects that the new expansion brings. Especially the omission of many contents, sunsetting, and not enough new in return – many experienced players seem to be struggling with this. For new players, however, this is less of a problem.
In general, the current mood is: Beyond Light brings a lot of good but also some bad, with the bad overshadowing the positives for some, if not outweighing them. They certainly delivered. But whether and for how long that will be enough – remains to be seen. Shortly after launch, certainly not everyone is happy.

In World of Warcraft, players hunt the undead Nathanos Blightcaller. They kill him just for fun and satisfaction – it simply feels too good.
In World of Warcraft, almost everything revolves around loot. Whether it’s dungeons, raids, PvP, or world bosses – players engage with these contents to grab loot. Rarely is there any other motivation to accomplish something in the game. The current boss, Nathanos Blightcaller, represents a curious exception. Some players repeatedly send him to the afterlife just for the joy of it, even when it provides no gameplay advantage.
The Story of Nathanos Blightcaller
Nathanos Blightcaller is one of the oldest characters from World of Warcraft. He was already a boss in the open world in WoW Classic and waited in the Eastern Kingdoms.
His story was quite simple up to that point, although he was already a special snowflake back in the day. He was the only human trained as a ranger by the elves of Quel’thalas. When the Scourge invaded, Nathanos was killed and resurrected as an undead, which is why the Alliance wanted to eliminate him.
Sylvanas then freed Nathanos from the influence of the Scourge and made him her champion. From then on, Nathanos accomplished many tasks, commanded troops, and was also seen as a confidant of the Banshee Queen.
New short stories revealed more about Sylvanas and Nathanos’ past. A small romance between the two during their lifetimes is implied – feelings that, even after their deaths, still resonate at least subtly, although these emotions carry much less significance for the undead.
To further empower Nathanos, Sylvanas even helped him in the short story “The Dark Mirror” to obtain a new body, as his old one was rotting too much. Nathanos’ cousin was captured for this purpose, and Nathanos’ soul was bound into his body. Even today, Nathanos occasionally sees the spirit of his cousin in visions and speaks with him.

With his new body, Nathanos took on more tasks for the Banshee Queen. In Stormheim, he led the attack on the Alliance. During the Zandalari campaign, he delegated almost all tasks for Horde players. He was also responsible for the defense of Darkshore after the War of Thorns. Here, he faced great champions like Tyrande Whisperwind and Malfurion Stormrage – fights he survived and escaped from.
In the book “Rise of the Shadows”, the prelude to Shadowlands, Nathanos received another task from Sylvanas. He is to ensure, with the help of some allies, that the Loa of Death, Bwonsamdi, is eliminated. The Zandalari Empire is to be destroyed, thereby weakening the Horde.
Nathanos fails at this task, but is saved again from death. Just before the Alliance and Horde can defeat him, he is enveloped in shadows and taken to Sylvanas Windrunner in Icecrown, who had just shattered the Crown of the Lich King.
However, Sylvanas is extremely dissatisfied that Nathanos has failed in his task. She commands him to return to a location and wait – the estate of Marris. Nathanos must die to follow Sylvanas into the Shadowlands, which is practically his punishment for his failure. This is also where the world quest takes place, where players can fight Nathanos during the pre-event.

Why is Nathanos so unpopular? Nathanos Blightcaller has developed into an absolute hate character in the eyes of many players in the WoW community over the last expansions. This is due to several reasons:
He always has an annoying, arrogant speech in which he mocks everyone else.
He is constantly haughty, whether towards the Alliance or as a quest giver for Horde players.
He is seen as a sycophant of the Banshee Queen. In the community, he is also referred to as “Sylvanas’ toyboy”. Sometimes, he is even called the “first simp in WoW”.
He has escaped final death multiple times. Whether in Lordaeron, Stormheim, or Darkshore, even heroic characters like Tyrande and Malfurion could not defeat him.
Often, he escapes with the well-known “Enough!” exclamation. WoW bosses often do this when they are at low HP. Then they cast some sort of mass stun, deliver a small monologue, and disappear. This is something that players often criticize as a cheap escape.

Some players are really happy that they can finally fight Nathanos. They even kill the undead ranger multiple times, although there is no loot for it – simply for satisfaction. This was even the case weeks ago when Nathanos prematurely appeared in the Plaguelands due to a bug.
In the WoW subreddit, there were several voices explaining that they “have longed to finally kill Nathanos” – they didn’t care whether this would yield loot or not.
Are the players now satisfied? Opinions are mixed here. Many players are happy that they can finally extinguish the life lights of Nathanos to take revenge for all his annoying speeches and “edgy remarks”.
Although not everyone is satisfied since Tyrande “steals” the kill and kills him, many can overlook this because Tyrande looks extremely cool doing it.

Is it finally over with Nathanos? Quite likely not. In the concluding cinematic where Nathanos is killed by Tyrande, he still retains his haughty demeanor. During one of his typical speeches in which he mocks the night warrior, he is killed by her. However, he states that she can kill him because it would send him “directly to Sylvanas”. Through Nathanos’ death, his soul was then sent directly into the Maw and thus into the Shadowlands. It can be assumed that he will appear again in Shadowlands.
The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has had its worldwide release, and MeinMMO presents the first reactions to this year’s CoD multiplayer mode.
Since when can you play? The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War opened its digital doors for players around the world at 6 AM (November 13).
Some streamers and content creators, however, were able to get in earlier and have been playing the new Black Ops for a few days, but they couldn’t access the multiplayer servers.
Since 3 PM yesterday afternoon, the servers have been open, and regular players in New Zealand were able to play a bit earlier. Some took advantage of this to play earlier. MeinMMO has therefore taken a look around and gathered impressions from the first hours of Cold War for you.
Players plagued by technical issues
What are the players saying? When Cold War went online for everyone this morning, there were some technical problems. PS4 controllers disconnected, some couldn’t access their weapon blueprints, and the first hour was plagued by server issues:
@dedmeat69 on Twitter: “On PS4, all controllers disconnected for me and my 4 friends. You have to restart the console.”
However, the technical problems of the servers do not seem to affect the German/European region. We were able to play right at launch and had no issues connecting to the game or a match. This may be due to the early release. In the USA, servers came online partly still on the evening of November 12, while here at 6 AM, fewer players rushed to the servers.
However, the first hours were accompanied by strong negative feedback. On Twitter, relatively few tweets can be found that speak positively about the release. Veterans know the issues at the launch of a CoD, but that doesn’t make it any better that the servers buckle under the release pressure every year.

Many improvements but little new content after beta
What are content creators saying? YouTubers and streamers have been able to access the servers for a bit longer and have been shooting each other with those first bullets. The CoD experts TheXclusiveAce and Drift0r have already published English videos with their first impressions.
This is what TheXclusiveAce says: The YouTuber TheXclusiveAce criticizes on his channel mainly the low number of maps. Cold War only offers 8 multiplayer maps for 6vs6 matches, which he finds too few. Especially since 4 of them were already present in the extensive beta, and 2 are just smaller versions of the 12vs12 maps that also made it into the beta.
He is satisfied with the development since the beta: visibility of enemies, weapon handling, aim assist – many points that bothered him in the beta have shown noticeable improvements. However, he cannot overlook the low content volume at launch and sees this as the biggest issue at release. He states that although CoD MW only offered 6 6vs6 maps, there was sufficient content around it, which he does not feel with Cold War.

He refers to the roadmap of Season 1 and the release of CoD MW in 2019. With the seasons, many maps were added, and shortly after release, hardly anyone spoke of Modern Warfare having so few 6vs6 maps as no other CoD before.
What he sees as negative is the performance of the game on PC. Drift0r recently switched to a dual-PC solution and now uses 2 PCs for streaming – one for gaming and one for streaming. However, even with his powerful PC, which is no longer burdened by streaming, he had problems with his framerate.
Especially on the large ocean map “Armada”, his framerates dropped to as low as 40 FPS, although he had expected at least stable 100 FPS. However, it’s worth mentioning that he chose quite high graphics settings and played at 1440p. Here, too, he expects an improvement with the next patches.

TheXclusiveAce believes that this year at release, you can also recognize the “games-as-a-service” approach of the new CoD generations. The game still feels a bit unpolished for him, just like Modern Warfare did at launch. However, he is optimistic that the state of the game will improve over the next few weeks.
The low content at release could also be somewhat related to the Corona situation, which disrupted many workflows in 2020 and did not spare game developers. Personal conclusion: Better than the beta, but only 2 new maps for 6vs6?
Who is speaking? I am Maik Schneider and mainly work for MeinMMO in the shooter and Call of Duty area. I started with CoD 5 (2008) many years ago in multiplayer and have played every part extensively that has done without robotic features – just like Cold War. Particularly last year, Warzone was my favorite, where I spent hundreds of hours hunting for the next victory.
My wish was fulfilled: I had no server problems this morning, and my controller on PS4 didn’t cause any stress either. What bothered me the most were the many players who were already at a higher level and thus managed much better with the new CoD than I did. Shortly after getting up, I could have imagined something nicer.
But I immediately saw the improvement I wished for compared to the beta – better visibility of opponents. This was, in my opinion, one of the biggest issues during the test phase, as one could not directly recognize enemies in motion in dark areas or backgrounds corresponding to the colors of the operators. This was visibly better, although still not optimal.
Overall, after the first matches, I left the game with a positive feeling and look forward to the weekend to grind through the maps and modes. Even if the new content is indeed rather meager compared to the beta and somewhat diminishes my enjoyment.
In League of Legends, G2 Esports is by far the best team outside of Asia. The organization is headquartered in Berlin: The team consists of the best players in Europe. One of them, the mid-laner and ADC Perkz, is now apparently set to be sold. The amount is said to be up to 5 million US dollars. Perkz is expected to move to Cloud 9.
Update 13.11.: G2 has reportedly reached an agreement with Cloud 9. Perkz is expected to play for the US club in 2021 and transition to the LCS. This has been verbally confirmed, according to Jacob Wolf (via twitter).
The deal will be announced on November 16, when transfers can officially take place. The current mid-laner of Cloud 9, Nisq, is expected to leave the team.

Which teams are in consideration? According to Wolf, the desired team is supposedly Cloud 9. There, Perkz would switch to the mid lane and form a strong duo alongside Zven in the bot lane. With Vulcan in the support role, they have another strong player on the team.
Zven originally came from G2 and played and won with Perkz in 2016 and 2017. Zven was considered a flop at one point but has rebounded remarkably in 2020. Until Cloud 9 then started to struggle and collapsed before the Worlds 2020.
Team Liquid lost their own star mid-laner Jensen in 2018. Currently, the Belgian Nisqy is playing in the mid lane. He is expected to be replaced by Perkz.

Perkz holds Record for EU Champion Titles
What makes Perkz special: The 22-year-old Croatian Luka “PerkZ” Perković is actually a trained mid-laner and has always been top-notch in that role. However, he could never surpass the strong Asians with G2 at international tournaments.
Therefore, Perkz switched to the bot lane in 2019 to make room for the Dane Caps at G2 Esports, who then went to the mid lane. G2 became a “super-team,” reaching the finals of the Worlds in 2019 and the semifinals in 2020. Europe finally became competitive and could keep up with the Chinese and Koreans.
Apparently, Perkz is now drawn back to the mid lane. In current LoL, the bot lane is not as influential as it used to be. In the Worlds 2020, the role of junglers proved crucial. The meta has shifted to “carry jungler.” However, the mid lane is still important and the most prestigious position in any LoL team.
What lies behind it: Perkz has been with G2 Esports for 5 years and has been the franchise player of the team. With 8 championship titles in Europe, he holds the record. He is considered incredibly ambitious and driven.
If he actually moves to the USA and achieves a selling price of 5 million $, it would likely be a new record deal. Currently, 1.5 million is considered the top transfer. That’s how much Cloud 9 reportedly spent on the support player Vulcan.
The coach of G2 is the German Fabian “Grabbz” Lohmann.
As a potential “replacement” for Perkz at G2 Esports, a German is considered: Elias “Upset” Lipp (20) could switch to G2, as he is regarded as the rising star in European LoL in recent years.
A move for Perkz to the USA would have a certain taste: In recent years, players have primarily moved to the USA to earn money.
G2 has been together in its current form for 2 years and is considered a close-knit community and a favorite team for many fans. They have an incredible dynamic and harmony in team fights and strong personalities.
At the Worlds 2020, they had their strongest game in the quarterfinals. They not only beat the Koreans from Gen G but completely crushed them.
