Even though both publishers are rivals, they have sometimes met in crossovers. In these, characters from DC fought against those from Marvel. In 1996, there was also a battle between Superman (with long hair) and Hulk, who appears here as Professor Hulk, meaning the variant where Bruce Banner can control himself and speak normally.
After a rather balanced fight, Superman delivers such a powerful blow to Hulk that the green giant is knocked out. It must be noted that the normally speaking Hulk is usually weaker than the enraged one.
The battle between the two was special, as fans were allowed to decide who wins (via ScreenRant). This is also reflected, as the strength of both is portrayed quite evenly until the last blow.
