Hulk is considered the mightiest hero in the Marvel Universe, but even the green giant can be defeated. His Avengers colleague Thor can stop him.

Thor has fought Hulk multiple times as well. MCU fans might remember the battles in The Avengers (2012) or Thor: Ragnarok (2017). A significant battle took place in the comic Fear Itself No. 5. A mystical being transformed Hulk into Nul, the Breaker of Worlds.
Armed with his own hammer, Thor fights fiercely against Hulk and even says he cannot beat Hulk. Ironically, Thor summons a powerful lightning bolt with Mjölnir and shoots Hulk into space to defeat him.
Thor underestimates himself here, as he has not only been able to defeat normal Hulk but also the Hulk, who was enhanced and made malicious by a magical force from Odin’s brother.
