What is this housing set? Blizzard has now introduced the “Cozy Treehouse Retreat Bundle” in an official blog post for WoW. Price: 7,500 home coins. That translates to 75 euros, with 100 home coins equal to 1 euro.
After patch 12.0.5 left a bitter taste for many players, the new expensive housing set feels like mockery for many. Instead of promptly fixing the numerous problems, they prefer to release an expensive in-game package.
And not only that generates strong criticism, but also the high price of the package. Because 75 euros/dollars is more money than the last WoW expansion cost. If you look at the current discussion on Reddit, many players clearly show their frustration. One person writes in the same Reddit thread:
I don’t want to spoil anyone’s mood. I have already spent 90 dollars on expensive supporter packages for other games like “Path of Exile” because I wanted to support the developers.
But asking for 75 dollars for a house, despite not every race even having its own variant – and that after the release of the buggiest patch in recent WoW history – is certainly a bold decision.
