Soulframe has just released the new update Preludes 14. With this patch, all players who can’t get enough of pirates can play as a pirate.
What’s new in Preludes 14? Soulframe is still in the alpha phase and regularly drops new updates with larger content. This time, players can look forward to the following content in The Duelo:
- A new fable where players search for a stranded ghost ship
- The Duelo Pact, which allows players to learn new abilities such as shooting with the flintlock pistol and summoning a ghost clone
- New weapon arsenal and armor
- New Orlick progress system
- New bosses and locations
- Gameplay revisions
Gameplay revisions include a rune update and new side quests that can be accepted at the World Tree. However, given that a pirate game is currently trending on Steam, the new pirate class comes just in time.

What can the pirate do? The Mestra Carmo Pact
is not explicitly referred to as a pirate pact, but it offers exactly that flair. Players can now use a flintlock pistol that fires explosive shots. Moreover, with the abilities of this pact, one can strengthen allies’ virtues or slow down enemies.
As a special attack, one can summon a ghost clone that exactly replicates every attack. This is reminiscent of Davy Jones, who emerges from his grave below the sea and joins in the attack.
