A new cinematic sweetens the waiting time until the launch of Wrath of the Lich King Classic – and you definitely should see it.
The last days before the big release have begun. No, we are not talking about Dragonflight, but about WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic. The old expansion is coming out once again in a new guise and the anticipation is already huge. The servers are bursting at the seams and it is expected that this will increase even more at launch.
To prepare for the release, Blizzard has now released another trailer that perfectly shows what awaits the heroes in Northrend and how Azeroth is preparing for the onslaught against the Lich King.
By the way, the cinematic was not directly made by Blizzard, but created by content creator “Hurricane.” He has previously created extremely elaborate trailers and cinematics around World of Warcraft and was commissioned by Blizzard this time to create a trailer for WotLK Classic.
The video shows the troops of the Horde and Alliance loading their ships in Orgrimmar and Stormwind to set sail for Northrend. There is a camera glide through the various regions and their conflicts – such as the Nexus War in the Borean Tundra or the hordes of the undead in Icecrown. Accompanied by Arthas and the death knights, who repeatedly resurrect the undead.
The cinematic is characterized by a rather dark style and quite a few details – significantly more than World of Warcraft is actually able to show.
