The rivalry between Tyler1 and Ludwig has been going on for several years now. It has reached the point where Tyler1 secures a contract to avoid having to play with the nicest guy on Twitch in League of Legends.
What is going on between the two streamers? Ever since Tyler1 and Ludwig played LoL together at a MrBeast charity event in 2022, a rivalry has emerged.
Tyler1 called him an “absolute weak link” for the team on stage. After several attempts from Ludwig to reach out through donations or invitations to events, the conflict continues. Even today, Tyler1 insults Ludwig whenever he sends messages in his Twitch chat.
Ludwig showcased this in his latest YouTube video about the AT&T Annihilation Cup 2026, a tournament with 20 creators.
Tyler1 doesn’t want to play with Ludwig, yet he has become the 200 IQ captain in 4 years
What kind of contract is this? In an interview before the tournament, Ludwig is asked who he fears the most and why it is Tyler1.
To which Ludwig responds: “I am not afraid of Tyler1, I want to make that clear. I am not scared of him. He is afraid of me. That is why he had it written into his contract that he can’t be on a team with me this year.”
Tyler1 gives a response – as is known of him – rather insulting in response to Ludwig’s statement: “Because you’re bad and mess up the game every time you play with me.”
Ludwig proved his skill against Tyler1: In the match between the two teams, which partly consisted of absolute LoL beginners, the two rivals engaged in an epic battle lasting 50 minutes with their companions.
The highlight of the match was Ludwig’s announcement that his team should do the Baron Nashor. However, it was the most surprising moment, as Ludwig’s team was virtually surrounded by their opponents during the action (from 8:45 in the YouTube video).
Due to a lack of wards – which are one of the most important items in LoL – Ludwig and his crew could secretly defeat the boss of LoL and gain the upper hand. The commentator of the match believed that this call required 200 IQ.
Furthermore, Ludwig made some damn good calls as captain throughout the match. His team was finally able to win against the LoL tyrant after a beginner accidentally managed to steal the kill of an important epic monster.
How did the tournament end? The AT&T Annihilation Cup 2026 was held over 4 weeks across 4 games. LoL was just one of the categories, in which Ludwig’s team finished in last place and Tyler1’s team in 2nd place.
In the overall results of all categories, Ludwig was finally able to turn the tables and his team finished in 2nd place, while Tyler1 ended up last.
Not only Ludwig has been yelled at or insulted by Tyler1. Also, the gold boy from Twitch, Jynxzi, who organized a tournament with 40 streamers, was trained by Tyler1. Many insults were exchanged, but Jynxzi should not take him too seriously. After all, Tyler1 is still a character: LoL tyrant beats a beginner on Twitch through the game, warning beforehand: Not meant personally
