MeinMMO editor Nikolas Hernes shows you the 10 best movies from the MCU. In 1st place is probably the best film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- Release: March 27, 2014
In the overall context of the MCU, the 2nd film of Captain America actually seems quite inconspicuous, but within it hides the best film of the Marvel Universe, because all elements in the film work.
On the one hand, the whole atmosphere is special, and the film resembles a spy thriller that shows Captain America from a different perspective. His dialogues and scenes with Black Widow are also really good, as she has more to do here than in the other MCU films.
The film gives Captain America, who often seems like the lame justice guy
, several layers, as this time a conflict with his old friend arises, and the story shows the negative side of the super soldiers
.
Last but not least, the fight scenes also deserve to be highlighted, as no MCU film has been able to top these. The choreographies are powerful, have a nice flow, and are well-edited because the camera is allowed to hold on at times. The film has nice variance, and all these aspects together make The Return of the Winter Soldier the best standalone film in the MCU.
What do you think of the list of the two AIs and also of my list? Is there a film missing for you? Feel free to write your opinion in the comments.
