MeinMMO editor Nikolas Hernes shows you the 10 best movies from the MCU. In 2nd place is the biggest defeat of the Avengers.
- Release: April 26, 2018
The greatest achievement of Avengers: Infinity War is probably that almost all previous films have worked towards this moment, and it has really paid off. It starts directly with action, and the film quickly establishes the various starting situations for the heroes, who have separated after Civil War.
Thanos also shows his best side here. He is menacing and presents a contrast to the Avengers with his (admittedly not entirely thought-out) goal. The battles are impressive, and especially the various team-ups are fun.
I will probably never forget the final battle in Wakanda, because despite hopeful moments, you slowly realize how our heroes are indeed losing. Especially the last moment, in which many beloved characters disappear, has become solidified in pop culture.
